this vid is great but it'd be nice if you could list the colors you're using
Its in the destcripcion
@@baynguyenngoc3357 I am not sure all of the colors used are included in the materials list. For example, can see her use PC937 (Tuscan Red) but it's not listed. As a beginner learning color, it would be super-helpful to have the color of each pencil displayed on the screen as it's being used. Otherwise this is one of the best videos I have seen. This addition would make it perfect!
@@nataliem2201 oh ididnt know

This apple is brighter than my future
Haha mine too

Its soo bright 💜
Weee! Hello, sorry if I'm late, but she's using Prismacolour premier pencils and the reason why she uses tan paper is because you have to blend out the highlights. I think also since it's tan, it's thicker than the normal paper, therefore no warping from the layering.
Video:Prismacolors(or similar)
Me:takes out colourpencil for kids
Me:Alright.Time to get started
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
I am tryimg to,and hope i do ok
This made me laugh lol😂
What so normal children's colour pencils are not to be used?...nooooohhh
But...how do you know what colours to use. I am very confused when I try to color realistically. Please help.
Hey i just want to thank you for this video, in my career i need to be drawing apples (the object i choose) for a month and a half and im not really good at coloring and my teachers don't show me the basics so its been a little hard for me but im thankful for each video like yours! Thannnnk you so much!
surprised by the use of white after researching for a while on how to draw an apple. This is the best!!!
White always creates highlights, so whatever you draw, adding white and black gives your drawing a dimension. It's not only what makes art pop, but also what creates the 3d effect
Nice apple
This is great Jess! You never cease to amaze me
Thanks I'm getting better and better with every drawing
Brilliant, the best. At least as you draw your hand is not in the way to blot out what you are doing, so helpful. Keep this up, I will be looking for more of your lovely work
Such a good detailed tutorial. It turned out beautiful.
great work on the details and on the colours you choose! very realistic result! subbed! :)
Your drawing is outstanding
I love prisma
for everyone saying that they do not have tan paper, I didn't either, I just used a thin piece of cardboard. The back of every sketchbook has one.
I have toned grey paper from strathmore
Hehe, I dont have a sketch bookT-T but I'm gonna give it a go
mine dont
Amazing!😍👍
wow! I love it.
What differences would you have done if drawn on white paper? Also, would it be possible, in the future, to list the colors of the pencils you are using?
If you had white paper you wouldn’t be able to do or blend the highlights
I agree ,she needs to start telling which pencil she’s using
You can't blend the white correctly where needed, and it makes the colors pop
It looks like she's using Prismacolours set 24
Sheila Lewis-Lorum it's written on the tittle she is using prismacolors
Huh highlights before colors? That's a technique I haven't seen before! Great job!
Love !!!
This is incredible!
Laura
Mention material details
Ahhhh, I dont have tanned paper or any sort of toned paper T-T. I dont have as many colours as you, but at least I have a pack of 12 Faber castell polychromos- hopefully that will work. I have no where near as much experience as you, but I want to give it a go :' ). Wish me the best of luck, I'm gonna try and I'll tell u guys how it goes. It's part of my art homework.
wow!!!
Its easy to do when u have good color pencils like prizmacolors... while I struggle to do it with a 36 fiber castel (not the good ones)
If you want to have good results you just have to invest into good art materials
Bruh no i draw with faber castell and i still get good result
Not true
Very nice!
Amazing!
wow nice apple, sadly i don't have prismacolor pencil
Love how it came out, I used a brown paper bag from the groceries. And I agree, it would’ve been nice to know exactly which colors were used, not brand name.
Colours are in description if you follow along again ☺️
Omg I absolutely adore ur channel! Keep up the great work! :)
This might be a little help for the color use but at certain parts, the code of the pencil (found at the ends) can be seen clearly. (At 5:59 the color used is Tuscan Red) And the codes look like this: PC ###
Art students out here in the modern day be remembering this video for old homework rn
Awesome
Cool!
Very Very Nice
I have no idea if you know how to do video editing, however, being able to see the apple from your view while you are drawing it would be very interesting.
That nice
You draw very good
Wow that is amazing I don’t think I can do that 😂
I could do that! Now I will draw my 7-Star Dragon Ball keyring!
Ultra - Art, Gaming and More!
What are the colors you used?
I don't have tan paper...
lol not everyone can afford prismacoulor pencils
me eitherrrr
@AwesomeSnakeGuy 123 but then when I add highlights, the white just saturates it more and just dissapearssss
SAME ://
Is there a way to still do it?
it's so freaking amazing!! hey can you do it with faber castells????
Plz TL is it possible to do vit Faber castle...
What colors were used??
With prima color I go through white like crazy for some reason they break easily. I’m always having to go back to the art store to get more white colored pencil but prisma color is well worth the price even if they do break easily they are so good. But the white pencil breaks easier than the other colors for some reason
Colors please.
I don’t have an opaque white
😍👌🏻
how do people know what colour they are gonna get for realism
Well, there's the obvious colors that everyone spots. Like the red and yellow as well as the little bit of brown. Those are like the flat colors, the ones you even know to use as a child when drawing an apple. The rest is really about sort of spotting which color aspects are also included. Is the red pinkish or yellowish for example. Depending on which, you pick those colors out and start shading and adding them. It takes a lot of time, practice and definitely study (looking at real life things and observing how the light reflects and what color shades you can identify)
Ogres have layers!
---Shrek😂
Nice drawing😊
I like your technique for blending colours. Looks awesome. Which paper did you use
Nicola Valentine it’s tan paper... any tanned paper would do probably... idk 😐
Wait what color pencils did you use!!
its in the title
great tutorial? but... what if you're stuck in a psychiatric hospital, who doesn't have tan paper (or what the hell it's called) and you aren't allowed to online shop, and none of the stores around you have tan paper and yourself doesn't have anyyyyy
I tried to do it on white paper, but....
it doesn't work
Ha I can relate
What Did he use paper? is very important !! please help me
Mid toned paper
What’s that yellowish white pencil u used in the beginning?
nice info
Thanks :)
Part 1 of 2
Here is my good deed of the day. Lol. Beware it is long. I slowed it down to .25 so I could find out what all the colors were AND to see the steps clearer. 1st I will list the colors. Most are found in the Prismacolor Premier 24 pc set.
PC 916 CANARY YELLOW
PC 1003 SPANISH ORANGE
PC 1034 GOLDENROD (Guessing)
PC 922 POPPY RED
PC 924 CRIMSON RED
PC 912 APPLE GREEN
PC 937 TUSCAN RED
PC 935 BLACK
PC 938 WHITE
Outside of 24 pcs set
PC 914 CREAM
PC 941 LT UMBER
PC 1054 50% WARM GREY
PC 1077 COLOR BLENDER
Which colours do you use
SO Nice, but too much yellow colour
can i eat it?
What is the problem of artists that do not want to inform people of their choice of colours?
the amount of times i thought you messed up i was AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... srry...
I wonder how long the actual drawing took
Realistic drawings of this rather small size can take up to two-three hours normally
It’s so fast I have to pause every 2 seconds
I just set the speed to .5 so it went 1/2 as fast. I saw so much more.
