- Welcome to Day 7 of our West Highland Way journey from Kinlochleven to Fort William. Our final day. One we will never forget. The people we met along the way and realising just how much we love Scotland and all it has to offer.
We're Phil and Nicola, a couple of Yorkshire Puddings, who bought a 20 year old Mercedes Sprinter passenger bus called Popcorn, that was ready for the scrap yard.
Before we travelled to Europe and up to Norway, we headed to Scotland to hike the West Highland Way with our backpacks.
Welcome to the channel and we hope you subscribe and follow our journey as we live full time, travel around Europe in our self built home on wheels and backpack around the rest of the world.

That sheep was so chilled out 🐑😎 I’ve never come across another one like it! 😂
So chilled out 🐑 Crazy!
Wow, what a fantastic film and well done. You had a great gang to walk with and loads of good craic. I will start my WHW solo walk in mid May this year 2024, much the same as you train to Glasgow and camping etc. thank you for a brilliant film, well done and all the best. 🍻👍👍👍
Ah nice one Chris!!! Good luck with your trip in May! You'll have to let us know how you get on! This thru hike is one we will remember forever ⛰️ Thankyou for your lovely message!
What a great ending to the journey 👌. Loved all the videos , it be great to watch them all again in one go 😅. The waterfall looked amazing 🤩.
I think sheep liked you all. 😊.
Great work 👏👏👏
Ah Ranbir! Thankyou! Good memories for us in these videos. Because sometimes you only remember the struggle 🤣 so at least we have proof we enjoyed it 😅
Well done guys 👍
Thanks Colin 😀
Well done 🍺👍
Thankyou! Cheers 🍻
Loved the videos! Looking forward to going in May, also from Leeds 😁
Thank you Emily. You'll have a great time in May. We have so many videos to make from UK, Norway hikes etc, so watch this space. 😁
@@BussinAndBackpacking fab, Norway is definitely on my list!
Well done to all involved you both looked like you really enjoyed your experience. 💪👌🏻👍🏻 the views the sheep waterfalls credit to you. Any tips throw my way 😀😀 enjoy your celebration drink
Thanks Darren! We really did enjoy it. Highs and lows as every long thru hike has but it was a great experience. And just being in Scotland made it ⛰️ Enjoy your time along the WHW let us know how you get on 🚶♂️
Also, tips wise... keep your bag as light as you can. We took way too much food as there were so many opportunities along the way to re stock and eat good meals. So we could have kept the weight down there.
@@BussinAndBackpacking I’ve hired a bag transport company for my big rucksack so able to travel with just waterproof clothing spared socks & snacks so looking forward to it just keep watching various RUclips videos.
@@darrenray6934 ah nice one! You'll be sorted then 👍 Have a great time
Fantastic videos! I'm starting my solo WHW adventure this Thursday and if I have half as good a time as you guys, I'll be delighted! :)
Ah wow! How exciting you're about to start!!! You're going to love it! Best of luck to you and have a great journey 👍 😀 thankyou for your lovely comment 😊
@@BussinAndBackpacking ps I LOVE the smooch-on-a-bridge tradition - so sweet! 😘
@@WillisWanders haha yeah! It's a good tradition... although there are many bridges on the WHW 🤣 enjoy your trip!
Absolutely amazing. Visit k2 and Nangaparbat view point. Whenever you start a short solo trip of 4-5 days, Moses Peak is a must. It is a 5300m height۔ from the top of moses pea which you can see the views of the K2 world second highest peak in the world, Nangaparbat, K6 k11 and K 12 views in one frame. best time from May to October. This is a family tracked.its open Zone, one did not need a trekking permit or have to pay Royalty fee to climbed this Mountain tower
Thank you for your detailed recommendation. We'll definitely look into this. 😜💪
@@BussinAndBackpacking ohh really 🤣🤣
Well done i did it a few years ago i did it in five days and ended up with blisters on top of blisters. To avoid the midges April and May are the best months to go.😃
Ah brilliant! Not the blisters though 🥴 awful. We knew before we went it was the absolute worst time of year to go for midges but its the only time we could get off work to go. It was worth it... just 🦟
Well done , we start in 3 weeks . Super excited to start . !!!
Amazing! Hope you have a great experience! You'll have to let us know how you get on. Enjoy it ⛰️😎
What time of the year please?
This was August 😁
Congratulations on your achievement. Loved watching your progress.😀
Thankyou so much. It's been great making the videos and remembering the bits you forget when all you can think about is Midges and the rain 😅
