As I remember when there was the Grey Poupon commercials, they were driving something nicer than a Dodge. 😂 They have clearly lost contact with their customer base. Dodge is not a luxury vehicle. Good point about the battery being old. May be a good bargaining point to try and negotiate a new battery if it’s over two years old. On the Toyota dealer with the markup, they are just dealers, some are more honest than others.
So in Toronto Canada dealers are giving very minimal discounts for Jeep Rubicons. The salesman I talked to said Stellantis is giving nothing and don't care if they sell because we already bought them. Good point . Stellantis CEO said on RUclips he's not lowering prices. That tells me they don't care about their dealers. A 75k Jeep Rubicon costs less than 25k with mass production so that's quite a profit once sold to a dealer. Guess they just don't care . Guess I'll order a Toyota.
My buddy just bought a 2024 Chevy 2500 4WD crew cab with the 6.6 gas motor, less than 2,000 miles and the engine is ticking already. Changing the 5.7 Hemi oil to Valvoline brand will help solve the Hemi "tick".
I’m a ram fan. Bought a new 2019 hemi and was very impressed. No problems. I want to buy a new truck this year. But they priced themselves out of my range. Ford and gmc are way higher in price. I have a budget of 56,000$ for a V8 , 6.4 bed and 4 by 4. A big horn. But they want 70,000$.

Maybe their making cars too good; to last too long without rusting.
You may be able to negotiate lower, but the dealer will always bite back in another way.
