Dude! You have opened my eyes to just how much time I’ve been wasting building textures in Photoshop building out textures. Thank you for putting these amazing tutorials together!
@@RyanKingArt You are welcome, May I add that i think the viewers who dont like eevee as much might go for the cycles part instantly, so for that, i think maybe editing in a time stamp to where you start making the material
@@gmodandhl2experiments849 I do have timestamps in the description. But you have to make the Eevee one first, and then you can just edit the material a little for cycles.
Edit: Redid the entire thing from scratch and it all worked fine, go figure :D Thanks for an amazing tutorial, I'm encountering a bit on an issue though. My voronoi texture node outputs "squares" ( for lack of a better word) but the density is a lot lower then the result that you are getting. I've tried adding a Math node set to Multiply but this messes with the rest of the setup. I hope I'm being clear in describing my problem. Using Blender 3.1. I hope you can help me. Keep up the great content good Sir !
@@RyanKingArt I don't know what went wrong, but as I said, I redid the entire thing and it worked like a charm! Thanks for taking the time to try and figure it out though. All the best.
Yo would you be able to make a tutorial on how to properly image texture sculptures thus having a LOT of vertices if that makes sense? It was a hassle trying to highlight a whole bunch of them in wireframe mode with with the square selection (couldn't even accurately select them) and trying unwrap and it was just getting messy trying to put images on them and I gave up haha. I'd appreciate if you were able to make a video on this as I'd really like to properly texture this sculpt I've been really content with despite beginning to learn sculpturing 2-3 days ago.
I'm trying to bake the texture. But, if you set metallic to 1 the Diffuse is all black. I'm using your video about bake to try it. Is there some tip to bake the metallic look? Thank you for your great work.
Yes, you can check out my texture baking for beginners tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/Se8GdHptD4A/видео.html Also, here is the link to my video on baking metallic maps: ruclips.net/video/sOvRr_D8ZpU/видео.html

I forgot to mention about facial animation that's what I was saying about ! So plz have a look at that for us coz I really love the way you teach sir . Btw thanks for making so perfect tutorials we are blessed to have u
Yes, you would need to bake out the displacement texture to a texture map. Then you could add in the displacement texture with the displacement modifier. And you could also apply the displacement modifier if you wanted to, to make it actually geometry.
if you bake all the texture maps, then it should yes. However, I'm not sure if displacement maps are supported in Unreal, so you may need to turn the displacement into actual geometry.
Sick! Thank you sir Ryan! I love this one. One little thing that's making me a little sad, is that "displacement" only works in cycles and I can't use cycles for my project... but nevertheless, you delivered yet again! (:

Yeah! It helps me a lot to figure a new Borg-Cube! Thanks!!
Yeah, you could change this a little to make a borg cube. 😄
I also made it now based on this video. I learned a lot. Thanks.
Thank you for watching!
Another A+ procedural tutorial 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks!
very cool you could make a whole city like this
Yeah!
You really need more subs, Im not kidding, this will look so well on my command pad!
Thank you!

Thanks 😄 👍
You are awesome teacher 🥰
Thank you : )
Awsome as always, Ryan! 😊 It would be very interesting to learn how to make this seamless.
Thanks! Yeah maybe I can make a video on that sometime.
How is a procedural material NOT seamless?
This series is raw. Nice work man.
Thanks!
Really dope this is going to be perfects for my next nft thanks a bunch
Thank you for watching!
Amazing video, at 9:35, for a faster option you could have duplicated the other colour ramp and pressed backspace, just a tip, great work! :)
Thanks for the info!
@@RyanKingArt Always happy to help!
greetings from Brasil. Excellent tutorial, very handy. thank´s a lot
glad you like it!
Up next borg cube!
Thanks for the idea! I will consider it.
@@RyanKingArt possible borg sphere from first contact?
Please!

when cycles rendering, no showing glow.. need Glare node with Flog Glow in Compositing.
Yeah, to get a bloom effect in cycles, you could add a glare in the compositor
Sir could you please make a tutorial on animating characters for beginners ?

Replace the color with a green and it whould sell as Borg Cube ^^
Haha yeah.
🤩🤩 hey ryan
Hello! 😃
great Tutorial! question, if i wanted the orange color to change colors randomly throughout the animation, how would I do that? Thanks
You can animate the color value. Hover your mouse over the color value, and press I, to insert keyframes.
Thank you!
grate tutorials....today i learnt a good stuff...but when i am doing ,i am getting triangle on edges at final...can u help me to get rid bro..
Hmm, try changing the Midlevel of the displacement node.
Blender 3.3.... Bloom no longer working like it used to. Have to now turn the emission value up real high.
try turning up the emission strength in the emission settings.
Nice 😄.
Thanks Nick!
is there a way to get the geo after the displace to be mesh you could export to another program?
Yes, you would need to bake out the displacement texture to a texture map. Then you could add in the displacement texture with the displacement modifier. And you could also apply the displacement modifier if you wanted to, to make it actually geometry.
Can you please tell me, How can I export this same material in unity?
Its work on curved object?
Hmm, I'm not sure how well it will work on a curve.
i want to do something like this with geo nodes
maybe I can make a video on that sometime
@@RyanKingArt yea cool I would watch that. thanks for your work! very helpful
its called bismuth

Will it look the same when I export it to unreal engine

you can bake the displacement to a displacement map, and then you could use it in eevee.
