This is so cool, especially because Jeremy shows the little moments where he realizes "This isn't it..." and his strategies to solve it - instead of getting frustrated like I tend to do... :D
I've just finished (after 3+ years of working with it) writing my first near-pro grade Maschine track and watching this right after was such a nice piece of serendipity. Some great tips throughout Jeremy and beautiful track.
Thank you RMR. That really felt like and sounded like. “ Well, that is a Berlin company. I lived in Berlin once. Let’s do some 2000ish Berlin Techhouse Dancefloor Peak Time Outdoor Stuff. Shall we. “ And if that was intended. You nailed it.
Love it when he says it dangerously close to Chester cheesy....I think the choice of chords had that happen off the bat. It's a really good demonstration of how to make a track from scratch on the plus and how awesome the poly synth i.e pro 53 (plug in Prophet 5) sounds. Excellent thanks
Great video. Wouldn't have hurt if NI had brought iZotope Vocal Synth into the M+. That track is very cool, with a few vocals, it would have been perfect ;)
Poly Synth is a wonderful sounding BEAST with very small cpu-usage ❤️ Great and really "fat" EBM-Basslines with a touch of Waldorf Mircowave is no problem - even if its not a wavetable-synth ;-)
Wow. Ive had maschine micro for a year and I certainly can’t fly through it like this. I use it to sketch out my tracks in 8 to 16 measure loops which i always start with drums and bass and then export to Ableton. I should try use the internal instruments more often as a challenge.
Hi Jeremy, LOVE your videos. Thanks for all the work you put in. I’m planning to make the Maschine Mk3 the centre of my production workflow. Here’s my question. I want one device (maybe the Erica synths fusion box) with some analogue effects, a filter, gain, delay to pair with it. Can I use the internal synth engines from NI, route the audio out, through those effects and re sample the effected audio as an auto sampled new instrument? So I could create a library of instruments with that analogue goodness baked in. And then is there a way to route just one group to outboard gear so I can use the analogue filter on that sound (without effecting the whole track) like an effects loop assignable to a specific group essentially. Sorry for long comment! Keep it up. R
Love that! But Im so worried about CPU at 40% when you're using only one synth and four drums.. I was thinking to buy that maschine +.. but Im not sure. Im afraid of CPU limits.
Great stuff Jeremy! This is super helpful in learning how to move through track construction on M+.... Quick question, how did you get the CPU down from 80% in the middle of composing to 60% by the arrangement at the end? 🤔🤷♂️ Thanks for such a great tutorial, and a fun track for inspiration! 🙏🙏😍🌌
24:47 Sorry for my english : Could someone explain how he did manage to record the automation for the whole song as he expected ? Or did he in fact realised after that, that the automation is retrigered after each scene...And then each identical scene plays the same automation along the song ( execpt if you make scene UNIQUE ) But I still didn't success to record, for example, a slow even Filter progression from 0 to 100 along the entire song. Ok for a specific part, break etc...But not smoothly for the entire song . What am I missing here?
I didn't see anything when I searched "hehe maschine plus display" on yahoo search. I'm using Netscape Navigator 2.1 on a Compaq desktop via stable Net Zero ad free 56k modem. I need answers, dad.
I dont understand comments like this, he made a full track on the device, using a ton of instruments and even more effects. If you're really so worried about CPU, then you can easily resample something to free up CPU. But all I see here is a full track being made, running flawlessly. People should stop staring at numbers and just use their devices :D Or are you saying you are a fan of what other companies do: giving you sub-par instruments and effects, and limiting how many of them you can use?
CPU is never really an issue on the M+ i can say from experience. The only territory where it gets issues is when using heavy plugins like Prism for instance. But that is easily solved by flattening these parts (resampling). You can make songs using 32 tracks with ease and without issues if you just give it a little thought.
I can relate to that hesitance very well. Three days ago I got my M+ replacement device, and one of the first things that happened to me after installing the Retro Machines library was that I probably picked one patch that just doesn't work acceptably at all on the M+. I only tried playing three note chord progressions with the Equinox Change patch and it crackles like hell. It’s absolutely unusable, and honestly I’m still a bit shocked and unsure whether I should keep the M+ nonetheless. But obviously its weak CPU can become a real issue on the M+ very quickly.
Good one Jeremy! Cheerfull track! I also made a track with Poly Synth only (google "metapop sam prock fantasy"), funnily they even sound alike (different of course, but well-duh same synth, so it has a good character). And yes, "simple" synth, meaning easy to understand and effective to use! Though I made it on Mikro MK3, don't even know if M+ kind automation can be done on Mikro (did it in a DAW), but I like how you automated across the whole song. Cheers!
❤️❤️❤️
Did not even realized it comes from NI channel :) enjoyed!
YESSSSS!!! 🔥 just what I needed and also my Maschine Jam came in today!
Awesome work dude!! 🌻🤙
You managed to make it meow! 😸
Nice work man. The best demonstration of Maschine + workflow on the Native Instruments channel!
This is so cool, especially because Jeremy shows the little moments where he realizes "This isn't it..." and his strategies to solve it - instead of getting frustrated like I tend to do... :D
I love your very clever subtle humor you inject thru out your videos.
This really inspiring. This is not just a sell content. It also help existing owners of maschine. Great work and sound wonderful.
I love the thumbnail 🤣❤️👀
oh-oh, NI and TE join efforts, a new standalone with embedded speakers is coming :)
I've just finished (after 3+ years of working with it) writing my first near-pro grade Maschine track and watching this right after was such a nice piece of serendipity. Some great tips throughout Jeremy and beautiful track.
Nice one. You forgot to mention 4h of Jeremy's work is in fact approx 263 days, 19 hours and 42 minutes for the rest of us, normal human beings.
exactly. 4h for me and I'm on the same 8 bar loop since hour 1 :D T_T
Indeed...hé s à genius
Love these videos from you Jeremy! Really helps me see really how much you can do with just one piece of hardware! Keep it up!
incredible demonstration. really gotta try one of those out myself!
I like the “this is how much time it actually takes” timer.
I am with Maschine since MK1, watch a lot of related videos. This one is my fav. Thank You for it.
Impressive as always, Jeremy! Great point on not paying as much attention visually to the automation lane and just turning knobs until it feels right.
This is amazing. The Holy Grail of advanced Maschine tutorials. Thank you so much, dude 🙌
Red Means Go back to school and have some FUN!! Thanks NI... love you guys!!
🤯oh boy dat track! is dope!
I have been using the Maschine plus for more than a year. But many of the things you showed are relevant to me. Thank you, bro
Music is life
This is EXTRAORDINAIRE. Especially for something posted on NI's YT channel. A breath of fresh air
Always in for some Jeremy's vibes and this was an awesome one!
Now the dude just need to put vocal.
By far, this is the best video making a song/track in Machine+
Thanks. Always learn a lot from Jeremy’s workflow on Maschine+.
Excellent ! This Maschine Poly Synth sounds great :)
It's like a dance remix of that scene in Silence of the Lambs xD
This is such a rad video, amazing work Jeremy
Awesome video!!! Please share the whole making of it.

Made me goosebumps 😻What a great one 🎉❤👍👍👍
Cool track! It has a very early Orbital vibe to it.
theyre a huge inspiration
Feeling Inspired.
It is interesting how in the end it comes out sounding like Maschine. That’s not a bad thing.
Nice polysynth leads!!!!!!
That sounds so good!!!!!!!
I’m into Regaee and trap, I really enjoyed this video. I will incorporate the techniques shown. Best NI video. 🙏🏿
Unbelievable super genius 👏👏👏👏
"you all like a little tail right?"

:)
:)
That's awesome. more of this please!!! ❤️
We heard you! 😉
inspiring, thanks! :) although I do not own a plus, same concepts apply to mk3
Great video. Wouldn't have hurt if NI had brought iZotope Vocal Synth into the M+. That track is very cool, with a few vocals, it would have been perfect ;)
Maybe something for the future.. 😉
Excellent tutorial video and groovy sound too 👍👏😃
This just doesn't seem fair.
After struggling to find inspiration with my maschine plus... this inspires me and totally throws my ego down the drain.
Killer manipulation 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was awesome
so so so cool
Poly Synth is a wonderful sounding BEAST with very small cpu-usage ❤️
Great and really "fat" EBM-Basslines with a touch of Waldorf Mircowave is no problem - even if its not a wavetable-synth ;-)
great demo! 👏
Nice work
unreal good, you should do more tutorials on Maschine, so bloody good, how would you add vocals across the song in the best way? This is a hit song
Wow, so great
one of the most difficult GASes to resist
It's one of the least rational ones to resist though, considering how much you get for that money compared to an Elektron or modular based setup.

To save CPU, can you sample what you've made as a way of 'baking' in parts of a song?
Hi Jeremy, LOVE your videos. Thanks for all the work you put in.

Love that! But Im so worried about CPU at 40% when you're using only one synth and four drums.. I was thinking to buy that maschine +.. but Im not sure. Im afraid of CPU limits.
When you got your sound you just sample it as audio, and it doesnt need to process everything every time its played ;)
New Fastival Video Sound!

Great stuff. But surely automation effects the group or sound in all patterns? 😔
No, the automation is per pattern. So every pattern can have different modulation
Red means Tail
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
nice Jeremy!
Hi Jeremy!
hi mick
How did you lure Jeremy away from his modular? Either way, fantastic stuff!
sounds amazing at 1.25x
26:02 Where did you get that super cool head-up display for your Maschine? I want one as well! 😉
hehe
I didn't see anything when I searched "hehe maschine plus display" on yahoo search. I'm using Netscape Navigator 2.1 on a Compaq desktop via stable Net Zero ad free 56k modem.
I need answers, dad.
does the new polysynth only come with maschine +?
Comes with any maschine
@@tgoodjenkins brilliant ill go check it out
Maybe a stupid question, but could this be done in exactly the same way on the standard Maschine?
Yes it can. All the internal plugins he’s used on this plus are available to the software maschine (using the hardware maschine controllers).
Bit of a @Paul Kalkbrenner feel ♥︎
how did he pressed some pads with no auditioing them? For expample on 28:16
Select + pad
Staging is key.
Can the same be done on Maschine...🤓
Yes.
I’m just waiting on more push 2 vids tbh but this was dope
Push 2 is made by Ableton, so you might be on the RUclips channel of the wrong company ;-)
@@MickBenjamins Uh yeah... Whoops. My bad. Sorry NI I don't mean to start turf wars
Boris brejcha it’s you ?
18:00 bikinis save whales
Red's barely using anything intense and still that CPU is pushing 50% this is why I haven't purchased yet.

Look how trendy with all the little decorative trinkets.
At least there isn’t a little succulent from Ikea. Always makes me laugh.
