I just wanted to say - Emma is indeed the cutest kid ever.
"I'm not a policeman, I'm a princess."
🤣🤣🤣 best part of the movie
'' Take your toy back to the carpet.''
“Alright”
Here's some history: If SCHWARZENEGGER HADN'T MADE THE FILM, HUMMER VEHICLES MIGHT NEVER HAVE BECOME AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC.
Schwarzenegger first saw a convoy of military Humvees drive by on the Astoria, Oregon set. Schwarzenegger had to meet the executives of the military contractor responsible for the vehicles personally, and sign waivers, to acquire one of his own. He gradually convinced the company to design the vehicle for the civilian market, and got his way in 1992.
After picking my daughter up from daycare and pre school I got a new appreciation for those teachers. You got to have a special level of patience with small children
thank you :p and just gotta know how how to talk to them and interact with them (: and it really helps to talk to them as adults while remembering they’re still little kids… and how’s kindergarten, this grade?
"Eet's naht a toomah!"
I remember that line really stuck where I lived.
"I'm a cop you idiot."
"Stop whining!"
"Hey, I'm a police officer."
"Who is your daddy, and what does he do?"
Ah, classic Arnie lines for phone prank calls.
You forgot the best one
"Its not a tumaaa"
I was in love with those pranks lol
I used to have a soundboard with all these and a few from his other movies. "GET TO THE CHOPPA!"
@@Deathbird_Mitch same lol Joe Pecsi was another lol
“Put the Cookie down!”
I saw this as a kid, revisited as an adult. But this was the most entertaining revisit. “She gotta have a tapeworm “. Man I’m dead. I laughed so hard I felt my blood pressure rising.
Lol I’ve never seen anybody eat like her. I’ve seen her and two movies, both movies she ate the whole time
Look up Arnold prank calls, they use lines from this movie to prank stores n shit lol...I'm a cop you idiot....I'm john Kimble I'm a police officer lol
Food poisoning comes out both ends, muh friend.
Haha
Linda Hunt, the principal, won an Oscar playing a man in “The Year of Living Dangerously.”, with Sigourney Weaver and Mel Gibson.
She was good in that. My two favorite roles of her's are in NCIS-LA and If Looks Could Kill.
A babysitter took me and my sister to see this in the theater when we were 8 and 6. Love this movie, but it definitely wasn’t meant for kindergarteners!
At that age I was renting porn from the back room, that's how I found out that it's generally boring so after a few times I went back to watching rated PG to R movies, I did play that playboy ps2 game as a kid, another disappointment and life lesson, worse game ever.
True Lies and Last Action Hero…Arnold favorites!!
The divorce definition scene was also important due to timing. Divorce has been around for ages, but it was becoming very common in this time frame. Divorce as we know it, with the custody issues and child support, was hitting hard.
This movie is so wholesome. It still holds up. Fun fact about the scene where Arnold interviews the kids about what their daddies do. Arnold said that some kids improvised their responses and some kids didn't. We will never know which kids spoke the truth about their real life daddies lol.
I absolutely love this movie. Thank God I work in a empty building because the way I holler at your commentary.. 😂😂😂 I'm so proud of how fast your channel is growing 👍🏿. Great job!!
Much appreciated. The growth has been as amazing as it has humbling. The support has been amazing.
I love this movie, it just fills your heart with such good vibes.
I miss movies like this, from the 80's 90's, when movies were centered around human relationships and interactions and weren't 90% CGI.
I love movies that give you that good vibe you talking about
I miss when movies didn't take themselves so seriously. As much as I love a great production, there's something so fun about old comedy or action that really just didn't care about it being perfect. Just had to be fun; who cares if your revolver held 25 shots. And I miss real vfx and costumes etc.
32:11: Earlier;
Detective John Kimble: How do I look?
Phoebe O'Hara: Take off the gun.
(Kimble realizes he has strapped on his shoulder holster)
Detective John Kimble: That's a good idea.
Phoebe O'Hara: Little bastards are gonna eat you alive.
Detective John Kimble: Get some rest and don't worry. I've been working undercover for a long time. They're six-year-olds. How much trouble can they be?
Phoebe O'Hara: On second thought, take the gun.
I love the shocking or scary reactions as much as everyone else but this is the type of movie everyone needs to cheer up and recover from the other more mentally stressful ones. Just pure comedy in many forms, it's great :)
I always try to balance genres and tones for that very reason.
“Arnold got them out here training for The Classic.” 😂😂😂
Lol he really did
add Jingle All the Way to this list, so much fun, and Sinbad steals the show!
The look on your face when that little kid said that about certain male female parts oh man I laughed harder than you did when you were cracking up about the little girl doing that thing with her lips. 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 little kids say some wild stuff
"She's the size of a kindergartener" 🤣🤣🤣
Linda Hunt is tiny and fantastic as the principal. She works with Penelope Ann Miller again in 97's creature feature The Relic, and has a little role in David Lynch's Dune. Always a face I love to see in stuff.
I literally watched The Relic a few weeks ago. Still remember going with my old man when it released.
I always thought that the character of Edna in Incredibles was based on her.
Twins, Junior, and Kindergarten Cop were all directed by Ivan Reitman.
If you like that little girl who plays Emma she appears in Beethoven and Beethoven's 2nd, 2 movies about a Saint Bernard and the family that adopts him. I recommend them both.
This is a film that could only get made in the 90s. Lol. It's a classic though. If you want some action Arnold, that's not TERMINATOR, my favorite 3 would probably be PREDATOR, COMMANDO, and TRUE LIES. And I think you would dig his first CONAN THE BARBARIAN film. It's in the same vein of GAME OF THRONES, but a much cheaper budget. And LAST ACTION HERO is Arnold playing with his action persona, so save that for after you see some of his action films. And if you want a film that's funny, sad, yet kind of heartwarming I recommend the superb film JOJO RABBIT. It's a film a lot of people need to see. It illustrates how hate can be taught, and how one can leave it behind. It will make you laugh and cry. It's a beautiful film.
30:39 It's an homage to "The Terminator" wherein Reese and Sarah made whoopie while the Terminator made its approach.
Arnold was originally supposed to be the hero in that movie: a huge buff guy who can battle robots, but he passed that up for the title role.
Lance Hentickson, the last cop killed in the police station scene, was originally supposed to play the evil cyborg as a person who would look weak and needy but old and wise to infiltrate the human settlements.
Arnold was originally supposed to be in that love scene with Linda Hamilton, but he passed it up because he felt that playing as the menacing robot would give him better public appeal as a real actor instead of just the musclebound tough guy he had been.
Remember that he worked opposite James Earl Jones and Max Von Sydow who gave him lots of acting pointers for his performance in "Conan: The Barbarian" and he really wanted to play a role completely different from his true self.
The Terminator never works out, never eats, drives everywhere, doesn't smile, doesn't try to understand people, never wants to help, doesn't care about his body and cuts parts of himself away, is the exact opposite of who Arnold really is, so that was his first role where he was really doing performance from beginning to end.
So, here, stopping to make out while danger swirls around is basically his reclaiming that scene he was supposed to be in from "The Terminator".
I maybe study movies too much?
Lol you can never study movies too much
7:08 "I'm the party pooper" 🤣
33:38 "I forgot about this b%&@h" hahaha
🤣🤣🤣
Have you seen "True Lies" - that Arnold's action/comedy movie, really good!
Yes, if you haven't watched it please watch True Lies in my opinion one of Arnold's best movies
"Its not a toomah" lol 😂😂😂😂
15:38 - it is unusual for a man to be a kindergarten teacher. I'm not saying it can't happen (I'm sure there are some great male kindergarden teachers out there), but usually men don't have the patience and the temper to deal with numerous toddlers. That's a woman's specialty. It makes sense, the reason why women are more emotionally sensitive, passive and mild tempered (comparing to men) is so that they have the right deposition to care for a screaming, helpless, poorly communicative creature. Or a dozen.
she said “You’re not so tough without your cat are ya?” john wayne style
9:16 I was in 3rd grade when this movie came out.
Every boy in school learned to snap pencils with our thumbs.
We all wrote with pencil stubs that year.
I am, today, a world record holding vintage gamer and I credit this clip as the first time I realized my thumbs could do more than I ever thought possible.
Love your commentary 🤣👍🤣
Fun, true story 🙂 22 years ago. I had a chihuahua dog 🐶
Took him too kindergarten to show the kids.....
One girl said: WOW, look at the HORSE 🐴 🤣🤣🤣
Love from Iceland 🇮🇸 ❤️🦋🦋🦋
Welcome!
I had ferrets for years, but now I'm in California where they are illegal to keep as pets. Best ferret name I ever heard of was 'Vin Weasel'. I wished I had thought of that one myself.
J woulda been an excellent father. He needed a little princess in his life.
That compliment means a lot to me. I really would like to have a kid one day
I loved this movie. I saw it when it came out in a drive in theater.
This is a great movie
Dang, your constant smiling throughout this flick was contagious. Great vid with ya.
The mother, Penelope Ann Miller, was in another little gem that same year, The Freshman. I hope you give it a shot. Even if on your own time ;)
I’m glad you enjoyed. I love movies like this. Just feel good, wholesome movies. And I will definitely check it out
@@J_EOMReacts Yeah, wholesome is good sh**. See, you is good people. Stakeout ('87), Midnight Run ('88), and Baby Boom ('87) all fit that category nicely as well.
@@J_EOMReacts Yes, please react to, The Freshman! You will love it!! Although if you plan on reacting to, The Godfather, (which is a must-see!) then you should probably do that first, and then, The Freshman. It's not a sequel, but Marlon Brando plays the same type of character in each, and it's best to see him in the serious film (The Godfather) before the comedy (The Freshman).
@@Cosmo-Kramer Yep, The Freshman, Stakeout, Midnight Run, Harvey, Brewster's Millions
This was a funny movie. You should also watch Twins with Arnold and Danny Devito.
All the kids were adorable, but the one with the OB/GYN for a dad was the best! Before Arnold was a kindergarden cop, before he was a twin, before he was the terminator, he was Conan The Barbarian (1982), his first major role and he was perfection. It's my favorite of all his movies and and I hope you will consider it for a reaction.
Most Arnold movies J hasn’t seen are on the list. Conan def is on it.
A great transition movie from his full-on action movies to his funnier later roles. This had a little bit of both. It probably didn't do as well as some of his other movies for that reason. Film Co. didn't know how to market it.
Fun fact: adorable little girl went on to play Emily in Beethoven and Beethoven 2nd
I think you would really enjoy planes trains and automobiles, Addams Family and it's sequel Addams Family Values. Love your videos 💞
One of the things I love most about this channel are the graphics that you use for censoring, themed with the films. The ferret cracked me up. And I have a ferret, her name is Pickles
I used to have one named Rascal. One of the best pets I ever had growing up.
Glad you’re enjoying!
Wow watching this a day before Father's Day! This was the last movie I saw at the theater with my Dad! He past away that following year. This movie will always hold a special place in my heart for that reason! But it is super funny movie 😄 And I have that same shirt that you have on!👍
You got a good taste in shorts and happy heavenly Father’s Day to your pop.
@@J_EOMReacts Thank you I really appreciate that!👊
"Boys have a penis, and girls have a vagina."
Truth! 😎
Fun Fact: In reality, the kids loved Arnold Schwarzenegger. They were constantly climbing all over him like a jungle gym.
Location Fact: Astoria elementary, the school in the movie, is just a few blocks from The Goonies (1985) house in Astoria. The measured out distance between the two, is 1.6 miles or less than 3 minutes.
Future Filmmaker Fact: Director Ivan Reitman's son, Jason Reitman, has a cameo as the boy making out with the girl that Kimble interrupts during the real fire drill.
Arnold and his favorite "brother" Danny Devito said Arnold is a HUGE practical joker. He makes the set fun... when it doesn't have to be serious.
These facts are brought to you by 🐊
Astoria & coastal Oregon is such a beautiful area, I can see why lots of people want to film there.
JL ...You're most welcome! 😎
Golden Age of Dinosaurs ...Indeed. However I prefer the East Coast myself. The Atlantic Ocean's salt air smells better.
This is a great movie. Reminds me of being a kid. It still holds up today. When u laughed at the girl with the mouth twitch, u got me man. I was right there with u.
Lol I thought she was eating at first then I realize she was just doing that
That last bit at the end about child abuse was very vital, thanks EOM
Definitely underrated Arnold movie
A very different kinda movie for Arnold
He really kills this role
Agreed
You are my favorite reaction guy. My wife is sleeping next to me and I'm trying so hard to not burst out laughing. Keep it up.
Much appreciated and glad you’re on board. Try not to wake her up. LoL
Greatly appreciate that. Lol so was you successful on not waking her up
"she got a tapeworm or something" haha
Counting at my kids I be like 2, 2 1/2, 2 3/4….. LOL!
🤣🤣🤣 what happens when you get to 3
They in heap of trouble!
Gotta do Commando. 80s action cheese. It’s ironically funny. Lots of shoot ‘em up, bang bang but also ridiculousness that’s so entertaining. Best one-liners!
It’s on the list
I have twin daughters. I got called to the school when they were in 1st grade because they got caught switching home room classes. They’d been doing it for days 😂
🤣🤣🤣 that’s hilarious
I lived in Astoria Oregon for few years. Small town with a big bridge connecting Washington to Oregon. It’s located at north west tip of Oregon right at the mouth of Columbia River.
Richard Tyson played the bad guy in the movie and he was good in another fun movie called Three O'Clock High from 1987. Tyson plays the new very tough and dangerous kid in school who picks a fight with the meekest kid in school, and he wants to meet him after school at Three O'Clock. You should check it out for your channel here :)
We all love some ARNIE !!! no matter if he's The Terminator, Dutch, Harry Tasker or Kimble
"One of those movies I could watch everyday". Yeah I watched this movie many times and I always enjoy it when its on.
Love the reactions man.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed
Man, I'd love to see you react to The Ladykillers, 2004, Tom Hanks. Never seen a reaction to it, and I think it's hilarious. Everybody should have a neighbor like the land lady in this movie.
I’ve heard that’s a great movie
Penelope Ann Miller was also in Adventures in Babysitting - that's another feel good comedy I think you'd enjoy!
You are funny as hell. Very entertaining reactions. I just watched a couple react to airplane. I thought they both took muscle relaxants as much as they put in the reaction. I mean we are talking airplane!
Glad you enjoyed!
30:00 the ladders on those things don't reach the ground, you need a ladder truck to reach them.
31:04 it's great to talk to dogs *if* they learn how to do it safely. That might be a good topic in kindergarten, actually. Even most grown adults aren't very good at greeting a dog who doesn't know them. People aren't patient enough. They aggressively push into the dog's personal space, ignoring every signal about how nervous it is, and then blame the dog if it panics, as some breeds are likely to do.
There's nothing more dangerous to a dog than strangers, because the dog always gets blamed if anything goes wrong.
He wanna be stepdaddy. He wanna drive the minivan with you. Has never hit so hard in my entire life. This and major Payne gives me feels like nobodies business.
I'm just here for the puppies. Just kidding. You crack me up. Great movie to react to. Twins is another other one that shows Arnold's comedy chops.
I’m glad you been enjoying. And let’s be honest most people are here for the puppies lol
This movie is absolutely amazing. The score is also awesome. The only thing better than watching this is watching your commentary with it.
Much appreciated, homie.
I have been waiting for someone I like to react to this!! Haven't watched your reaction yet.. but want to say... I love this movie for 2 reasons.. 1. It's Arnold being awesome like always.. but 2. and the biggest reason lol... My cousin is in this movie! Miko Hughes... The kid that says.. "Boys have a penis.. Girls have a vagina" Yeah.. that's my cousin. Speaking of my cousin... Will you react to "Pet Sematary".. he was only 22 months in that.. and killed it!! No pun intended!! lol .. That is a Stephen King story! Very creepy!! Miko is basically the star of it!!
It’s def on the list. We’ll def get to it.
That’s awesome. Always liked him in Wes Craven’s new nightmare as a kid.
@@EOMReacts Well.. I can't wait!! Yeah.. That's defiantly a good one! My fav of his is Pet Sematary.. for 2 reasons. 1. He was only 22 months when he filmed that.. and did a great job! But 2nd reason... They bribed him MacDonald's all the time.. to do a great job! haha.. NO JOKE! I still give him shit over that! lol.. When ever he says he can't do something or won't do something... I always say..." You would do it for MacDonald's" Oh does that get on his nerves!! LMAO!! To be honest.. what kid wouldn't do ANYTHING to get MacDonald's! lol.
“It’s not a tumor it’s not a tumor at all!!” 😅😂
I forgot how funny this movie is. 😂😂
I love your reactions. Good work! Bro, you love dogs so much and you haven’t done old yeller yet one of the biggest American classics ever, I know you’ll love it
Over The Top ! Very under-rated classic, Sylvester Stallone, Please please please
Oh, don't worry. It's on the list. Rocky is actually coming soon, among some other Stallone films.
Watch Adventures In Babysitting. Penelope Ann Miller is also in that movie.
That’s on the list
When my brother was diagnosed, he said, 'omg it is a tuma!' In the Arnold accent.
The neurologist was not amused.
Arnold's comedy movies best represent how he is in real life: a funny, charming guy. I think you know that, but I'm always surprised at how many people seem to think he isn't acting in _The Terminator_ . Actually, that was probably his most challenging acting role of all. It's not easy to so convincingly play a heartless machine, especially for a gregarious guy with a quick smile like Arnold.
Ferret is the real hero! That's why you gotta take one with you. Might be dangerous.
Facts
Love the reaction and your dogs just be chilling!
Lol they just got finished eating and it was nap time. Glad you enjoyed.
I don't think kids need to get all excited when they hear a fire alarm. I thought Arnold was going to yell "Get to the choppah!"
I’m glad you switch it up every so often with your movies, going from serious or scary or action movies to lighthearted comedies like this. We all need that kind of variety in our entertainment. I hope you do many more comedies because it’s a delight to watch you laugh your butt off and smile at various lines and situations you see.
I'm definitely going to keep his stuff as varied and balanced as I can, for that reason. I try to not do any genre or tone back to back.
I am so glad I found your channel! I have yet to not like a review you have done. You keep it real.
Much appreciated. Glad to see people enjoying.
His momma is top gangster. Also love seeing him in a speaking role. The only other movie I know him from is the Charlie's angels reboot. Crispin something or other.
Tell Blank we needed more of the pupper struggling to get on the bed 🥰
Lol you will definitely see more of that. Bc unless he runs and jump he struggles.
i was willing him up there as i watched
one of the funniest things about your reactions is when something happens and a person gets hurt, but doesnt die and you say "He dead" or something like that. gets me every time
Great reaction. I didn't even know you liked this type of movie, but I had a feeling you'd like this. Those kids were all so hilarious. Arnold rocked it. "eehts naht a twomah!" 😅😂
Love these type of movies. These the type of movies I watched my whole life
Learning respect and discipline in the end makes you a better student.
This is a fun one, Big Man! Looking forward to it. Bust out the treats for the puppers, and let's get it!😎👍🍻🍷🚬🐕🐾💪💪💪💪
Lol the puppers are over here sleep on me right now
Want a good adult/kid laugh? "Me, Myself, and Irene".
I’ve heard that is hilarious
As always a great reaction video.. - Speaking of kids, Another movie that I can absolutely recommend is the gangster comedy "Bugsy Malone" from 1976. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I would surely enjoy watching your reaction to it.
Greatly appreciate that and I’m have to check that out.
"I want to hang out with you, till the end...of...time." One of my most favorite lines.
I think chat ended before I could type it but JL has GOT to watch the Lethal Weapon movies since he said he hasn't seen them.
I was typing the response. LoL
He hasn’t, and they’re 100% getting watched.
@@EOMReacts wicked. Love Mel Gibson. He's such an awesome actor. He can be funny in one movie then rip your heart out in another.
Great reaction (as usual. You crack me up.) A couple of things I thought might interest you. The little principal played a cool role in "Silverado," a great western. Crisp (the bad guy) played a high school bully in a very funny movie called "3 o'clock high," (a play on words like a western showdown) and Dominic's pretty mom, was in a great movie with Al Pachino called "Carlito's Way," Just some reaction ideas, in case you're interested.
I know two of those are on the list
"The Festival with a Heart"
I think John (Arnold) has found his true calling. He seemed to be kind of tired of police work, anyway.
JL a real story you might like about a man hitting his wife. My friend was a Sergeant Major in the Special Forces. When he served in Germany the wife of one of his men came to him for help. Its out of his role to do anything, but he told her what she should do. She disagreed and left. Every pay day her husband came home drunk and beat her up then passed out. Eventually she came back to my friend and asked again. Nothing he could do. She again left. This repeated once more, and my friend told her the same thing. The next pay day she did what my friend told her.
Her husband came home drunk, beat her up, then passed out. That night when she recovered, she rolled her passed out husband in a blanket and seriously beat him with something heavy.
He never touched her again.
Love Your Reactions (You really REACT ,have seen You crying ,screaming and laughing , Respect for leaving the Tears in ), "Alpha" is a Movie about how the the first Human maybe ! became Friends with a Wolve . i love dogs and the two i have Contact with love me back :-)))
I haven’t seen either one of those movies. I remember seeing the trailer to Alpha and I thought it looked dope as hell. I’m glad you been enjoying
IT’S NOT A TOOMAH!
AT ALL.
This is one of my favorite, Arnold movies....and obviously one of yours, you couldn't stop smiling.....you need to check out, another good, Arnold action-comedy.... LAST ACTION HERO (which is in my Top 3 of Arnold movies).
This was an amazing movie
“My dad doesn’t live with us anymore, he lives in New York and drives a taxi….my mom hopes he’s gonna ☠️ real soon” 😂😂😂 Also a good 90’s nostalgia classic to consider reviewing is The Sandlot.
There's another Arnold comedy I bet you haven't seen. It's called Hercules in New York, and it's hilariously terrible good.
Absolutely. LoL
I think the lady cop had something like hypoglycemia which caused her to eat all the time. And she had food poisoning symptoms on the way to Astoria.
We love your channel and will support you and your family. So how much for the pups?😁
🤣🤣🤣 that’s the wrong kind of support
@@J_EOMReacts would love to see your reaction to a movie called Southern Comfort (not the drink). It has an actor called Powers Boothe.
@@arthurdrake3274 🤣🤣🤣 I was about to say I use to drink that with Gatorade in high school
@@J_EOMReacts ah me to. Was grandpa's favorite. His bottle always had a little missing and no one knew why. But me.😁👍
Checkout Twins starring Arnold and Danny Devito.
It’s on the list
1. Mr. Morbid is stealing the show early on.
2. Fun. This movie is perfect for the "Kids say the darndest things" trope
Pikeville, Kentucky? I've never heard of Hillybilly Days, but it's held in a proper place for that sort of thing. Seems nice, I quickly looked it up here on RUclips and saw what it looks like. We have things kind of like that here in Florida, but the crowds are more diverse. I'm a white guy myself, but I've grown up around a fairly diverse community, so it feels weird to not see Black or Hispanic people in public.
If you like FUNNY movies like this , you will absolutely love FATHER GOOSE with Cary Grant . HE IS a loner coast watcher in South Pacific in WWII. HE has to deal with a group of young girls and their teacher while hiding from the Japonese . It's Hilarious.
