Been paddling white water for many years, never gave much thought about paddling flat water. Some friends of mine would take a week off around Thanksgiving and go to the Okefenokee swamp. They got down there and the swamp had just closed due to a wild fire. Park ranger suggested going to the springs. Ichetucknee was there first stop then they ended up further south in Ocala National Forest and hit the springs down there. Next year they talked me into going to the springs,WOW! Been going there ever since
I did this a few weeks ago. I accidentally kayaked over a gator that was hidden in the underwater grass. It thrashed all around and about flipped me... I braced lol. Awesome river though, just full of all sorts of life. Took out at the last park takeout, but I'll head down to the Sante Fe next time. Nice video!
Ingenious use of the paddle shoulders instead of buying the foot pegs . Debating on adding this to the fleet. Have CK1, LT2, and Ultralite already. What size paddle you using here?

@@WadeHarrison called the shop in Americus and they are supposed to be getting their first shipment this week. I’m gonna go check it out.

It’s a 240-260cm
If you only could keep one of those kayaks which would you choose and why?
Possible to float a 13’ raft down this creek?
As far as rafts that I’m not sure might want to contact them and ask I know canoes kayaks are aloud but seen nothing on rafts
What’s the water temp that time of year
It was nice I’m thinking about 50 and air temps was like 65-70
