It's tough to see you having to restrain yourself that much on decorating, haha! As far as I know you can save quite a bit of simoleons on the spot lights, take a look at that with your next starter home. More money for decorating then :)

Protip that even on 1/2 step staircases there's an expensive AF wall that is like 80% of the cost, delete the wall and the stairs are hundreds of bucks cheaper :p

I remember other Sims youtubers mentioning how USA-centric a lot of the starter homes are too - so it's great that you could provide a UK option for people! Would be interesting to see you do a typical Australian commission house as a 'starter' that we'd likely have here. I love playing in Britechester. I don't own many packs but it is one of my favorites to play day to day in. I don't see it as a world to "travel to" so living there makes sense to me.

I haven't really done much in Britechester. I play mostly in Willow Creek and Sulani. (My Simself lives in Sulani with her adopted daughter and their dog, at least until I can afford to buy Snowy Escape because then they will be moving to Mount Komorebi.)

Been watching and enjoying your channel tremendously, but this is the first time I've commented because of such an odd 'coincidence'. I just purchased and downloaded Sims 4 University this morning and have the same lot as you're building on in Britechester pulled up on my computer as I'm just now watching you build on that lot. Wow, weird but cool! I was planning on doing a sort of georgian style cottage to match neighborhood, so different style of build but still weird! Oh and we here in the US are starting to breathe a sigh of relief finally

(Loved to build them in the Sims 2, with the apartment system back then it worked quite well.) i built a British terraced house and the floor plan is practically the same even in my real house. i think that architects just CtrlC CtrlV
