    I would think you would need a brace for that thickness. The weld alone seems iffy given the angle and leverage on the joint.

      second chance sailing it's just steel tube I'm going to make sure it's all the right angles work it then I'll do a stainless one

      thanks just asking because we put the depth sounder on back with a pole lasted 6 months and rotted away we are picking a new one up Monday 10ft ss £30 robbing barstewards

    what are the demesnions?

      Patrick Miller I think it was 6ft high and a 2ft reach. The dimensions can be changed to suit the reach you want overboard
