I can see the savings of human exertion on a long day , "BUTT"' most men can pull twice that speed. I'm not knocking it , great design , great concept , easy to use👍! Just on the slow side. Some of my catches are 50-60Lbs plus being stuck in the mud. Rivers near Savannah Ga is the extent of my crabbing ,"blue crab". I fill the bait basket full and let them set 48 hrs. They still have bait meat to eat on when I pull em so they're healthy n happy. These mud bottoms cause the traps to stick in good. The initial breaking pull is well over 100Lbs and full traps go 50-60 lbs. This includes the Wt. of the trap as well. Do you think your winch and rigging will handle this on a regular bases? OH, Yeah What or how are you preventing rust - corrosion? Salt water + Steel = Sorrow Salt water + Aluminum = Crusty White Corrosion ,= more Sorrow.
Those aren't real Alaska & pacific North West crab pots (wire pots) with that said it was pulling very slowly with the wire pots, not sure it would handle my pots

Sadly one of the owners passed away. I’m not sure if his partner is still running the business. I’ll see what I can find out.
