There's just one passageway going aft so kind of hard to get lost. I pointed to the back of the ship and said, "Aft." I didn't say but I did think, "If you fall off the ship you went too far."
Admiral currently serving on board the ISD Core Envoy. We were just assigned a new tasking order, escorting cargo shipments from rampart station to sentinel base. These shipments will ensure the lasting peace and security of our Empire. I believe this young and upcoming cadet will one day be a leader in our Star fighter core. You can serve on my ship anytime.
Make sure to learn the fields of fire for your turbo lasers and ion cannons and that you use your tie squadrons to help protect the rear and shield generators, learn to effectively use your ion cannons to disable enemy ships and your tractor beams to seize them, also the ISD was meant for broad side engagements against other ships not head to head engagements.
I love that so much Way too many people underestimate the Imperial Army due to rebel propaganda. Failing to realise that the rebels were on their last legs and the reason the Empire died was due to political powers and not because their military is weak. It didn't help that the rebels were using hit and run tactics. So yeah the ISD wasn't meant to fight someone that would fight and runaway In a fair fight however the Empire would win most of the time.

Thing is, the only power in the galaxy that employs that kind of weaponry en-masse is the Chiss, and they're an Imperial ally.
Most Problems are way more because of the usuage and Not the ISD itself , they Talk so much Trash about IT but even the Rebels used the ISDs for over 50 years after the Galactic CIVIL war because guess what the ship IS actually amazing. Also the whole talk about Design flaws can also very much be Not understanding how Star wars ships Like they would also critize Star Trek ships for their Warp engines being exposed Not knowing thats how you have to build IT to make it Work also that the only shields Generators are the on the top IS suspect for such a Big ship and the ISD 2 has Point defense WE See IT clearly in the OT how Else can ISDs Chase the Falcon?
@@laisphinto6372 Counterpoint: The Imperial, Victory, Bellator, Executor and Resurgent class Star Destroyers are the only ships in Star Wars with exposed shield generators. MC80s are renowned for their shield strength yet they have fully internalized generators, and most other ships that have shields mount the generators internally as well. This could point to the particular type of shield generator used by those various Star Destroyer designs needing to be mounted externally, but then why not just use a different shield generator design? As for the bridge positioning, the Resurgent class actually fixes that by lowering the bridge into the superstructure of the ship, rather than on a massive tower. It's actually one of the reasons why the Resurgent-class is one of my favorites. And yes, I know that Star Trek ships have to have a gap between the warp nacelles and that the warp nacelles have to be in pairs... or really, are _supposed to_ but then you have a bunch of ships that completely throw these rules out the window, like the Galaxy Refit from All Good Things (three nacelles, and the middle pylon gets in the way of the side nacelles), the Defiant (kinda, the rule is at least a 50% line of sight between nacelles, the Defiant's weird inboard nacelles are just on the threshold of that so it's a bit of a margin of error case) and a number of single-nacelle ships, plus there's the Klingon Bird of Prey which has fully inboard warp coils. Given explanations don't work when what's shown contradicts them.
Regarding the comment about the size of the Imperial Navy, I've read several sources which state that at its height, the Empire possessed something around 25,000 Star Destroyers.
I am an Admiral aboard one of the finest ISD II’s, we are constantly under attack from small rebel fleets, we seem to do okay for just an ISD and a Light Cruiser, we are constantly getting boarded too, although they fall under the Empire’s might!
Remember: The primary purpose of the TIE wing is to serve as your Star Destroyer's point defense system. Two Captains forgot that at Scarif, and it cost them their lives
The ISD 1 and 2 has Point defense systems , so your TIEs should BE aggressive and engage the enemy fighters only hold one or two squadrons Back AS Reserve especially one Bomber squadron to bomb a bold Rebel Capital ship WHO thinks He IS smart by sneaking on the ISD rear

The boss is giving me a evil look (although it's difficult to tell) but he certainly is rasping a bit more heavily. One of my underlings says I chocked, and I'm worried that in a minute, this may be literally true. Any advise on how to cover my arse?
Serving on an SSD sucks because there IS Always a Big Shot on the Bridge Vader on the executor IS famous for all His mood Swings He actually has some Military competnce, the Others are captained by moffs a bunch of fat bureacrats fancying themselves AS great Military Generals IT is a Nightmare you Always have to Clean the Bridge to perfection especially the moffs Seat Always Tell the moff how Genius and amazing He is. This is great. Although if I had to be an effective captain, I would be requesting, 2 Venator Class Star Carriers, modified to be less reminiscent of the Republic Era. As well as 2 Acclamators carrying as many TIE Interceptors as possible and 2 being solely heavy Anti Starfighter transports. As well as 2 Imperial Class Interdictor Star Destroyer rather than an interdictor cruiser and a bunch of smaller vessels such as Gozanti's purposely set up for Anti Starfighter focus and Arquitence Just so I have the firepower necessary to deal with most rebel vessels but also the starfighter capacity to eliminate any hit-and-run maneuvers. As well as modified Arquitens class vessels able to deploy at least 2 TIE defenders. Which remain as support ships only to launch into lightspeed just to undermine the opponent.

You don't need either, just a civilian license, but chances are you're not an Imperial officer if you're flying a Venator. They're no longer in use in the Imperial military and were decommissioned quickly after the Clone Wars.

Tbf had Tarkin knew the Death Star had weakness he would've stopped that and patched it immediately. Without that weakness how exactly were you supposed to kill that Death Star anyway? Since the introduction in the Battle of coruscant the ISD served the Empire Well, the venator was a good ship for its time but lets Not pretend IT was better than the ISD especially when the CIS Providence class cruisers Tore them to shreds in sheer firepower and WE never Had the amount of Fighter Numbers to effectively use them ,Most venators fighters complement was understaffed and WE Had to Press ground troops into Pilot seats to compensate

And usually from a room called a CIC, or combat information center, if a captain isn't on the bridge... which isn't the same as a bridge.

Well These instances are under command of very noticeable people Like Vader or Other very high Ranking Guys WHO can Aufford that ,but Most werent Like that. I mean its one Thing for a powerful Force User to do that or a high Ranking Guy with Bodyguards. The one without forcepowers cannot pull the Stick approach forever since mutinies Happen and the lower in Rank and less impressive your guards are the more you will be screwed
