Angela, thank you for answering the questions your followers are asking me about direct to film printing with the Epson F2100. I love that you explained the process step by step. I'm excited by the feedback I'm getting from my customers on how they are using DTF transfers in their business. Everyone have a great weekend!
This is a great video for all the DTG owners because a lot of them don't know you can do DTF with them. Also, wear a mask when powdering and curing. When curing prints, fumes can be toxic so ventilate the room or get an air purifier because you can get sick from it.
Thanks for putting out great videos! I have one update. ColDesi is the first major decoration supplier (that I know of) to sell and support a purpose made DTF system in the United States. At $25k, it is more suited to a seller of DTF transfers than a typical decorator, unless they are really high volume.
Nice video :) Definitely, DTF is an alternative for a lot of people that want to try something new using their dtg printers or even with dtf converted printers.
They're pushing the hell outta these things! As a startup, I cannot, under any circumstance, consider blowing 16k into a printer, lol. I think u should do cleaning videos. How often can u let it sit? How frequently does it need cleaned? Those things r beautiful. I bought an Ecotank to convert last week; but these printers seem amazing, like a dream machine. Ur a very fortunate young lady, i'd be tickeld to see only a fraction of ur opportunity. Keep on keepin
Loved this video just got my melco 16x and Epson F2100, yesterday looking forward to the training to start. And the transfers you showed have me thinking of alot more I can do. Here's to a profitable 2022 thanks to you. Jay
Thanks for the Info. I've seen where they have added an icc profile that swaps the white and color automatically. Removing the step of cancelling the print. Just put a 60 sec delay between the color and white.
You’re video is very informational thank you! Our company has had a epson F3070 for a while now and I have been needing to do some transfers. This process that you are doing would work exactly on the F3070?
Question ! Im going to buy 1 whats the biggest print size and so the white never clunks or clogs up say i went on vacation for a few months and came back it would still be ok ?
Can anyone answer why my ET-2850 only is printing 1 inch of the image on dtf. When I use the sublimation paper it prints the entire image but since I’m trying to print on dark fabrics I’m gonna need the dtf film to print on . I’ve used 2 different & both only print 1 inch of the image
i want to try this a have brother 422gxt I'm sure it the same process when you was curing the ink did you let the heat press hover over the print or did you press it down and do you have to pretreat the garment?
I have been tossing up between a DTG and a DTF. This solves my problem. If you were doing darker colour prints on lighter material would you need to do the white layer?
Hiii! The White toner prints feel more like plastic where as DTG you dont even feel because its printed into the fibers. DTF feels most similar to HTV not plasticky (idk if that's a word haha) but it feels a lot softer
Hi Angela! I bought a heat press and i love it so much but each time i used it my power blows and it’s just too much i have it in my apartment do you have any suggestions ? I tried to google for some help but no luck any advice is appreciated or if anyone wants to chime in it is very appreciated thank you!
If your power is blowing out you may have to upgrade your electrical plug it's not equipped for the usage . The cause may be a faulty plug on one of your devices or an overloaded circuit.
Looks nice and I might have to try it but it does seem a bit time consuming. I wanted to ask for your advice when printing on white shirts. I keep having issues when I print on white shirts the print fades pretty bad after washing the shirts. I’ve tried with and without pre treat and they still fade, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.
Interesting technique with the dtf, I can see some issues in the process though trying to utilize the white ink.. The Epson printer doesn't technically use white ink, it's a plasticizer ( that's why the printer has the white buffer/recirculation unit to keep moving the white or it will rubberize and stiffen in the lines) that is utilized for darker shirts, so that it lays the white backer plasticizer down for the colors to show correctly, it doesn't utilize the white plasticizer on a white shirt as it's not needed for a backer as your color gaumet will be correct on white. I'm thinking that's what the job of the white powder is that you applied to give the transfer the white backer for the gaumet.
All the inks for DTG are plastic based. Plasticizer is just thinner plastisol. The white powder is adhesive powder and must be used for all DTF prints. Even if you don't use a white. Its the same method as printing Plastisol transfers, same powder used. Same method except you're using a printer vs a screen.
hi dearest Jasmina love your videos honey you are doing great ,this is Diane here I THINK YOU SHOULD PRINT OF THE TE-SHIRTS that says TIGRESS with the TIGERS picture dear kids will love those ...the Epson printer seems to be working fine from what I have seen
Hi GREAT VIDEO!!! One Question: The inks that you are using to print with the F2100 DTG Printer on the paper are the same ones that you regularly use for the cotton shirts as a DTG printer? You haven't changed anything??? Just added the DTG POWDER and DTG PAPER?
@@AngelaJasmina Thank You! I suppose that if you are saving so much white ink with the DTF PRINT you are using that method instead of the regular DTG PROCESS with the EPSON?
Hi Angela! When it comes to the ink density being set at -20 is that for the color or just white or both? I have done a few with the white only being -20 and all have been ok. Just wanted to be sure if I need to be changing the color also. Thanks

How do I get info on purchasing? And do y’all offer some kind of financing?
This is a great video for all the DTG owners because a lot of them don't know you can do DTF with them. Also, wear a mask when powdering and curing. When curing prints, fumes can be toxic so ventilate the room or get an air purifier because you can get sick from it.

John LeDrew here. You nailed it Angela, well done! If any of your customers have any questions, I'm happy to help.
Hi, what’s the difference between the DTF L 1800 and the DTF 2100
@melco Embroidery
Hi
Super cool! DTG printers sure have come a long way since I had one in 2005. Love seeing new processes. ♥

Definitely, DTF is an alternative for a lot of people that want to try something new using their dtg printers or even with dtf converted printers.

Congratulations!! Sending you best wishes!!
Thank You for sharing!!! What maintenance do you have to do on the machine to keep it from clogging?
She said that other machines are not made to use white and they are the one that Coggs,
Thanks for the Info. I've seen where they have added an icc profile that swaps the white and color automatically. Removing the step of cancelling the print. Just put a 60 sec delay between the color and white.
Thank you for the video. About how much printing can you get out of the ink in that printer
How does it feel? Does it feel plasticky?
Can you print to foam board or corrugated board? Or can you transfer to with of those materials?
One question how often u have to buy ink for your Epson 2100 printer and how often u do maintenance on your printer
The best explanation about DTF printing I've seen thus far. How did the image you printed in the video hold up in the wash?
Does the powder have an odor? Oh my Jesus that is beautiful! I love it

That t-shirt is adorable 😍
Hi. Question... after you cure the film, is it sticky?

Que Dios te bendiga y te siga prosperando. Muchas gracias por compartir lo que has aprendido. No cualquiera lo hace. Bendiciones :)
Hi Angela, may i know whats the latest model for dtf printers? Thankyou 🙏🏻
Do you still have to pretreat your garment?
What heat press do you have
I have a question I want to buy a printer which one do I get and Do I have to convert it myself
Why do you have to do the white separately? I see a lot of dtf printers do the white at the same time.
Good video
Thanks
Very helpful video, thank you so much!
How does it feel on the shirt? Does it feel like vinyl?
Omg....😳, great video Angela...this changes a lot.
i want to try this a have brother 422gxt I'm sure it the same process when you was curing the ink did you let the heat press hover over the print or did you press it down and do you have to pretreat the garment?
I love your videos!!!! You need to do a selling on etsy series!! I could use the help🥴🥴
How close did you put your heat press to the transfer when you were curing it?
I have been tossing up between a DTG and a DTF. This solves my problem. If you were doing darker colour prints on lighter material would you need to do the white layer?
i bought a prestige A+ but had so many issues and so high maintenance. Im looking fro. DTG now is this high maintenance?
Thank you. Im gettin into shirts so this was very helpful
Why not just use something like the iColor 560 or 800? Is the process you use softer feeling/similar to DTG?
Hiii! The White toner prints feel more like plastic where as DTG you dont even feel because its printed into the fibers. DTF feels most similar to HTV not plasticky (idk if that's a word haha) but it feels a lot softer
How do you feel about Digital Heat FX machine?? I am so confused
what about just white ink only what settings mine keeps coming out heavy and it's running
Wait! Does that mean if we make the transfers we dont need to use pretreat? Pretreat is the reason I threw my F2000 in the garage!
Hope you see this how long does the expo last and is it open to the public?
What is a good printer for printer for DTF and heat transfer papers
I’m having issues with the white blending into color and causing the colors bleed.

I have the Fancier studio power heat press for reference!

How am I getting it to buy and were am from Trinidad
Are u using the same inks for both DTG and DTF thank you
Is the same like eco solvent?.
Hello where you get the transfers from?
My design is white...how would I alter the instructions for that? Do I need to increase the density?

How are the transfers washability?
So u cant print directly on thr shirt?
I’ve enjoyed this. Would love to learn and be gain to get the printer.

Thank you for explaining that so well.
Excellent work! What is the name of the white paper that will be used on top of the DTF?
we tried your way but the white ink still seems so thick, do you know of a setting that could help with that?
Hey Angela! How are you! Love the show
Hi, I was wondering what the difference is between dtf and sublimation?
You are so informative I appreciate your videos! Do you take custom orders for dtf
Is you printing shirts also how do I get into with you so I can get something printed
Hi can’t you just make the rip print colour first then white in 1 process instead of having to cancel the print every time?

Where do you get the film
What’s the next best DTF Machine besides the f2100
I love this video! Can you make more videos on the DTG 😁 Thanks 🥰
can I place an order.....sorry spelling all wrong
you are just an awesome person , thank you
It feels different fro..DTG. Feels more vinylly. What do you think?

hi dearest Jasmina love your videos honey you are doing great ,this is Diane here I THINK YOU SHOULD PRINT OF THE TE-SHIRTS that says TIGRESS with the TIGERS picture dear kids will love those ...the Epson printer seems to be working fine from what I have seen
If someone didn’t already own the dtg printer, would you recommend just getting the dtf printer instead
Yes, correct!
@@AngelaJasmina thanks for replying and so fast!!!!
@@AngelaJasmina Thank You! I suppose that if you are saving so much white ink with the DTF PRINT you are using that method instead of the regular DTG PROCESS with the EPSON?
Where do you buy this printer? How much is it?
Thats amazing! Do u do custom orders of DTG printing?
Long Beach girl, they have some without powder hopefully. More expensive than DTG. Excited to go see what new out there.
Hi Angela! When it comes to the ink density being set at -20 is that for the color or just white or both? I have done a few with the white only being -20 and all have been ok. Just wanted to be sure if I need to be changing the color also. Thanks
