Thanks I created that using the fly in effect. I also added at the tip of the dart while it was on the bullseye I added a red oval and removed the outline. I placed the tiny red oval over the top of each of the tips of the dart. This gave the effect of the dart actually penetrating the dart board. I angled the oval to match each dart tip.
Well, I’ve never done darts in PowerPoint, but I have done a bow and arrow. I went about it a bit differently, but I wish I had done the target the way you did. You got the 3D just right there. I just pasted an svg of one. I might actually redo my target. I used motion graphics rather than morph or fly-in. The bow can be made using the picture fill as wood and the string was two white lines meeting together with a disappear animation as the arrow was loosed followed by an appearance with a teeter animation. The arrow head is, well, an arrow in grey with a metalic finish. With a little ingenuity, I was able to split the arrow like Erol Flynn did in The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), which I use a metaphor for consistency. I’ve also adapted it into William Tell splitting the apple rather than skewering it by arranging the two halves one on top of the other. I managed to change the expression on his son’s face with a disappearing face and appearing face.
