Thank you for your very informative excellent video... there was no Model no. on my Honeywell so took a photo and compared it to RUclips videos and found yours. With this awful 🥵heat enveloping so many states including Iowa, I really needed to know how to operate this thermostat. Thank you again!!
That was the best video of them all..... Most people just want a simple ON/OFF....cool or heat....and then be able to adjust the temp up/down as required. Most don't want all the programs...too confusing. At the end of your video, you explain how to over ride all those program settings and just put it in the simple mode by using the HOLD button. Other videos fail to mention that point....and that is the most important question. Thank You....
Thanks for the excellent video that makes it all so simple to change the heat or cool temperature setting by just pressing the HOLD button that overrides and bypasses all the other complex settings that we simply don't need or want to use.

This saved my summer. Heat advisory tmrw. This past month, I thought my AC was broken. Wrong. My...brother apparently has been turning off the furnace and not saying anything. WHO DOES THAT?! #SiblingsSuck
if i pressed hold on 70 why wont my thermostat go any higher than 63, it says inside 63 but my hold is on 70
I do not want to set sleep / wake time programmed but need to be at 72 deg for 7 days / week.
Then press hold, set the temp, and press hold again. The only downside is when it waffles between hot and cold like is for me right now. I have to switch between cool and heat to keep it at where I want it, as some days are hot and others cool, with mostly cool nights.
Can you just tell me how to turn on my air conditioning through this thermostat please?

How do you take of the temporary setting for good? Everytime I try to change the temperature by using the up and down arrows it'll still say temporary and then I press 'RUN' and it'll go back to the temperature I tried changing in the first place. I don't know if that made sense

Do NOT press run just press hold and put it on temp u want and it will stay there

She said how to do so. Just set it to heat, (rather than cool), press hold, which overrides any programming you may have done, then use the arrows up or down to set the temp you want, and press hold again. 😊

Turn the switch to off. If it still won’t, then call an ac/heat professional, or call Honeywell.
