Dora, I went through exact same thing 3 weeks ago and has exact same experience as yours. I am an IT professional, and I must work in front of computer 12 hr/day. Thats my bread and butter. Can someone and the Dr. here advise me on 1) What things I should do and what I should avoid for protecting my retina? 2) what is important for me to know for the future?
I have this PVD Symptoms, With just one floating "stick", not too disturbing, and Flesh lights on the side (it was more at the beginning, but very few now - after 5 days) I visited an eye clinic, and I was told that my retina is complete and healthy, not injured. My question is, that since I am a personal trainer and yoga teacher, so my whole life is about sports and moving, what is important for me to know for the future? Thank you in advance!
Hi Dr. thank you for your video in explaining PVD. I had some floaters a week ago in one eye and been diagnosed with "Partial" PVD in both eyes using a OCT Scan. I need advice on care of "Partial" vs normal PVD. I read on the RNIB web site that should avoid exercise for 6 weeks. Is that the same for "Partial" PVD? I would like to know if I can I still do Running, Swimming, Push ups, using Gym weight machines, Punching a punch bag..etc? Anything to avoid and for how long if "Partial" PVD? Thanks
@@alaashallal nothing much has changed besides floaters getting more frequently spotted and my both eye power increased probably due to spending too much time on screen. It's alright I guess.. don't get too depressed like I did, messed up my final exams lol could've gotten a few more As. Basically you'll get used to it after abit.
@@saberarisu omg . Are you okay now ? You’ve gotten used to ? You don’t see them anymore ? I’m experiencing the same thing . Really depressing to be honest
@@jhanelle4919 hi, so far I don't see any increase in the number of eye floaters. BUT the existing ones got more obvious. I experience white light flash when I move my eyes around in a dark room. (can't remember the term for it)
I got this symptom when I was still in highschool back then. It was one of the major factors that greatly affected my final exam results. Not happy about it. I'm studying in college now and I don't like to go out because I can see them floaters so yeah.
I hope by now you have been to the eye doctor.. No one on here can tell you what is going on... please don't delay getting a good check-up. Praying all is well.
@@shiktatalukdar7837 Ok, good to know the retina has no issues. Take care of those eyes, my friend. I am going through a terrifying time with mine & praying I don't go blind. Thanks for sharing.

The video says nothing about the treatment for PVD. The title of the video is therefore misleading.
Why, are these doctors so dismiss about PVD.?Why is everything is old age related. .
but what about it if happened in young people
