Thank you Dr MN, as per Chris A. Knowbe MD's (an Eyes Surgeon) research... the best possible way to fix and reverse of the AMD (Age related Macular Degeneration) is to stop using all kinda seed's oils (vs Fruit's oils, such as Olive, Avocado, Coconut and Palm oils...only) and fried foods... and if we're all wanting to accelerated this process then use Lycopene (in the forms of paste, sundried or powder 🍅 Tomatoes...) to highly influence controls of the Angiogenesis that would be included both Cardiovascular and Microvascular at the same time... Good luck with your endeavors... EUDS
Thanks. Nutrition and Lifestyles changes are valuable in reducing the risk for progression of AMD but there no studies to support that they reverse AMD.
Please keep us posted on this treatment becoming available in the US. I have been receiving injections for my dry macular degeneration. This would be wonderful news.
I live in India I have not been given drops nor injections as I have dry MD in the right eye since 1996 One dr said that it is stable it may not come for the other eye Another sr said that it is not guaranteed and I need to contact the Dr clinic Incase of any change in vision 2:22
Unfortunately it has progressed to geographic atrophy. The injections are not fun for sure. They say the injections help to slow down the progression. Everyone is different. I am praying for the stem cell treatment which hopefully will be available as soon as possible. 🙏🤞@@itpays2knowme600
I am recently diagnosed. Dry macular degeneration mild stage in left eye, dr.prescribed. Vita 2 tab. to slow progression . In Toronto treatment available to cured ? Or in US where located?
My father has been diagnosed with wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and recently, his vision has become fully blurry, leaving him unable to see clearly. We are deeply concerned about his condition and would appreciate your expert guidance on potential treatment options or any measures that could help alleviate his symptoms. Could you please advise on the best course of action or any available treatments? We would also appreciate any recommendations for managing this condition and improving his quality of life.
I have this, too, in one eye - is your dad under the care of a retina specialist ? I have been getting Vabysmo injections every six weeks- it’s not a cure, but it is certainly stabilizing my eye - I have some dry in the other eye, but so far it is not affecting my vision - blessings to your family from Florida 🙏
My mother had 4 injections for dry eye macular degeneration they didn't work..now she is on just supplements to slow down the progression...😢 can u plz tell me what the other options she can have.. I am from pakistan..
I have been trying to find out if the microcurrent is direct current or alternating current on the system you’re talking about I cannot get an answer. Certainly someone must know. Hope you could help me.
@@GoodOptometryMorning Yes. I have been using direct current microcurrent for two years. I am told that alternating current works better. I would go for treatment if I knew.
My husband was just diagnosed with age related macular degeneration. It has had little impact at this point. At what point should someone consider this treatment?
I originally ws told by my optometrist that I had dry macular degeneration but have now learned that I have vitelli macular dystrophy. Can your therapy help with this disease?
I was just told the same today. I am not sure this is better news than having macular degeneration as there is no treatment for this, from what I am told.
Most micro current devices for various conditions (including eye) recommend daily use to be effective. Or at least a few times per week. Yet, Macumira claims it can be effective just using it a few sessions per year ? That seems a bit suspicious, how can this be ?
In India, we have a doctor who treats people with AMD without injecting anything in the eyes. The ayurvedic treatment is availble for almost all eye problems.
My mom has an appointment in May of 2025 . The Dr won’t let me get her in early . She has dry eyes immaculardegeneration . He sees her every 6 months , and does nothing for her .if a waste of time to taker to see the eye Dr .
It's so depressing that there is no evidence of improvement with this therapy! This would be wonderful if it worked. This new therapy that was recently released by the FDA is horrible. It causes wet macular degeneration.

Is micro current equipment with its operating guide/procedure available?
Doesn't sound like the thing you could do very well yourself.
Does applying microcurrent electrical frequencies have side effects on eyes and does this procedure have FDA approval?
The microcurrent is so small no side effects have been noted in studies. This is approved by Health Canada but it is not in USA yet.
Dr Kondrot in Florida does mirco current he is training my Dr who does light therapy also
Dr Kondrot charges 5k fir home program
Microcurrent is not FDA approved in the USA to treat AMD so any treatment would be off-label.
I'm not seeing in the show notes the citations to the research papers mentioned?
Oh yeah forgot to do that.
Just added the citations. Thanks for wathcing and for the reminder.
