Great video and I 100% agree with all the foods you recommend. I would say that, as I age (I’m 55), increasingly, the factors that seem to impact weight is total calories, eating clean, non-ultraprocessed foods, and carefully restricting high glycemic index carbs (which are quickly converted to body fat)-so, no refined sugars, for example. Adequate protein is absolutely necessary to maintain muscle. But if you find the caloric intake where you are in a calorie surplus or deficit, and eat healthy at a calorie deficit, I think it’s just math that you’ll lose weight, and my experience aligns. As a younger person, I could cut carbs and lose weight without focusing much on calories. I don’t think that works as well for an older person
