Your friend: Maybe listen when he has dialog in the future. You: I am listening, im just paraphrasing. Everyone Watching: This was all covered in the first episode....
My favorite trivia bits relate to the comics. Here's one: While Mazikeen is a character in the comics, she was not originally responsible for removing Lucifer's wings; this was done by Dream/Morpheus (the titular Sandman). I think this originally happened in the Season of Mists storyline, and was later shown in more detail in the Lucifer comics. My memory is bad though.
is so fun to watch someone reacting to Lucifer the first time with fresh eyes. Let me tell you your sister is pretty smart some comments are quite interesting.
"Really Chloe? I'm disappointed in you" - That line always bugged me, I mean, he screwed up their marriage, leading to their separation - He doesn't get to be disappointed
I mean I always thought he referred to his maternal duties to Trixie. Then again I don't think it's bad writing for a character to lack self-awareness. That is a strong trait in Mr. Dan.
@@Ricamros Oh no no, I didn't mean that it was bad writing, quite the opposite, it's very much on brand for him to say something like that, he just has no right to, you know?
@@GodBear97 - Well, imagine that Chloe went to drop Trixie off at Dan's and he was clad in nothing but a towel, and there was a woman there making breakfast. Chloe would have every right to be disappointed in Dan if the roles were reversed. At this point they are basically separated. I would assume if one of them were to find someone new, it would be a point of discussion between the two of them as to how they should introduce Trixie to that new dynamic. PS - It doesn't matter one bit who messed up their marriage. This was about their child.
@@Mr.Ekshin They've been separated for a while at this point, if they want to date someone else they can. Trixie already knows and likes Lucifer, having encountered him at her school, and knowing that he saved Chloe's life, and he's done nothing even slightly bad to her. In fact, Lucifer was the one who said "Maybe you shouldn't argue in front of the child" - This isn't about introducing Trixie to a potential new partner, it's about Dan getting his feelings hurt over who she might have chosen to date. Yes, the relationship between a child and a potential step-parent is important, but unless the step-parent is an out-right problem/danger, then the ex-Wife/ex-husband really has no say in that relationship.
It is always great to see my favorite part of these reviews..... that gloriously comfortable looking napping couch, (you girls are great, but a comfy nap couch is every mans true love) BTW, since you don't use ear buds or headphones when you watch, so you can hear each other, we get an echo when the footage is added in the PIP. Maybe run without audio on that? or is it needed for editing?
I agree and disagree about Dan's opinion at the beginning. I think he is entitled to say something because: 1) they are not divorced... yet. Separated or not they are technically still married, and 2) his child is living there full time. This one is 95% of it for me. I would have an issue with random men being over if my small daughter were still in the house. That being said, nothing was happening (of course).
I mostly agree with you especially where Trixie is concerned, but I think the way he goes about it is completely inappropriate. He's not coming off as a concerned parent or spouse, he's being judgemental and rude. But he absolutely should be concerned about his child.
Hey sorry I just saw your comment. I will be continuing I've just taken some time away from RUclips at the moment since I had some personal things happening at the end of Dec. But it will be continuing 😊
amenadiel wants lucifer to go back to hell bc he is the KING of it and when a KINGDOM doesn't have its king around, what usually happens? revolution & rebellion may happen among its citizen, in this case! DEMONS !!! and its chaos basically! thats why they need him back! later on you'll understand why ... in season 4😂😂😂 if you'll ever reach it😂😂😂 ... and im telling you, this show gets more and more interesting as season pass by, unlike other shows that as time goes on the story becomes somewhat lazy. this show becomes better as it moves! especially around the later part of season 3 to season 5B, from season 1 to season 3, this show was aired on FOX! thats why it has less R18s, but in season 4! NETFLIX took over and the graphics became much better and it seems more adult-y ... hehehehe you need to reach season 4 ... its a ride, i mean a SLOWBURNING RIDE! enjoy😊
This is one of my favorite episodes of season 1. I love when Chloe says "when hell freezes over." Then Lucifer says "I can arrange that actually".
