Hey bud, what is the liquid you are using? I managed to get one lens off prying it out, a little damage but acceptable. I have to do the other and would like to try using the liquid.

I think he is using Isopropanol. Look at this site at the bottom:

You can see that isopropanol is softening perma seal.

Fake! Es ist eine unglaubliche Arbeit. Wenn Du kein Tausendsassa bist, fang nicht an. Weil Du es auch bereust, dass du angefangen hast. Die Klebereste zu entfernen auch ein Wahnsinn. Die alte Kunststoffteile brechen, wie die Grissini. Und dicht zu machen ist auch ein Glückspiel.

simply has no glue left on the channel where it should prevent water come inside the headlight , if you never had opened your headlight , use hot air gun to warm up the glue and you will be able easily to take off the front cover. When you done and you want to put it back use a bit of silicone and a bit of warm up with your hot air gun and job done.

I used laquer thinner on a siringe and worked my way around wetting...after 3 to 5 minutes I started to ply out using two to four flat screwdrivers just to keep the preassure and rewetting with the siringe. Tape your lens or avoid laquer thinner to wet lens. It came out in less Than 20 minutes. Even old tar or glue get soft and workable.

Stick your e39 lights in the oven, it softens the glue to release them easily. They changed the adhesive on the e60

ага))) прям так и снял заводской герметик))) чтоб снять заводской герметик фару надо в коробку положить и направить фен минут на 20 и только после сильного прогрева он начинает отходить и то возможно 2-3 раза греть придется, а это у тебя сопли держали стекло)))

I did it today the 3th time.. I Bake the Headlight 15min at 220 degree.
Than work with 2 screwdriver, it goes off really easy like in the video!
