Can you make the pineapple in a rectangle or square shape? I’m trying to see if I can make a skirt or a dress with the pineapple stitch. I know some, but I really like how you did the work here 🌹🙏❤️
This is just gorgeous but I am struggling to understand what to do on the sides… so when I start creating the two pineapples when do I start increasing on the sides again? I carried on putting a shell within a shell but realized my mistake when the shawl started curving inwards rather than widening as it should? What row do I start with doing an extended shell at the beginning and end of the row? Thank you 😊
If I understood the pattern correctly, you would do a super shell in each shell on row 21. This is when you've done two base layers and three rows of loops on the pinapples. So when you count three normal shells after the expanded/half shell in the middle, next row you would also start/end with a super shell on the edges as well as one in the middle. Then increase all three triangles as normal for the next four rows with pinapple loops between. Next row you would do one shell, one 9-cluster, one shell for each triangle and starting the base for the next three pinapples. Next row is single shell, second layer to pineapples, expanded/half shell between and single shell on end. Then follows three rows of loops with single shells inbetween before you again do super shells in all shells. Edges, and now two in the middle Very late reply, so you probably figured it out.
