That one-eyed abomination was terrifying, but I'm glad it was captured and destroyed forever. And I'm also glad that Hans was safe and well out of harm's way, thanks to Wolfgang.
What an amazing episode. Also, I like you giving the Marklin engine a name and history of Sodor in this episode. I sure hope he enjoys life in Germany again!
to me, it seems like this was 2 seperate stories that TB76 Returns loosely stitched together to make one. Also the Monster barely did anything that made it a threat, if it had been going around derailing engines, breaking rolling stock, and hurting people, then that would have made it more threatening and a danger.
@@bigmacsama from one of the Hit Era episodes involved with Jack & The Pack where they were told a ghost story about a steam truck which was the One Eyed Truck. Then Max And Monty as they were dumping their loads got scared after thinking that Thomas was the One Eyed Truck and they ran away frightened.
Oida is just dialect for "Alter", which is the substantivation of "old" but is used in slang roughly like "bruh" in english. Imho that analogy works on a lot of levels: It's usually just added at the end of sentences as some sort of personal address to your friends, but depending on the situation it can be quite versatile: Bruh, what the fuck? (irritation) Bruuuh, it's so huge! (astonishment) Bruh, are you okay? (concern) etc etc. Oida/Alter might be even more versatile than bruh, but I think you get the idea.
Good to see Hans out and about after all those years. Wolfgang was able to help out a fellow countryman and with help defeat the monster. Now the monster is no longer a threat. though people can be really morbid.
I don't think that these two have achieved anything by antagonizing this monstrosity Wolfgang is determined to help Hans any way he can! And deal with this monstrosity.
That was great. The only problem was that sometimes your voice got lost in the music a little. However, the story was great. I also loved how the monster remained a mystery. Well done
I remember in may 2022, when I rode an ÓBB Taurus back from a station near salzburg back to munich HBF, I wish that could be acknowledged in an episode with wolfgang, although it sounds weird
Yknow, I think I remember hearing that my family used to come from Germany a very long time ago, but I’m an American citizen but I don’t know the German language, idk what to think
@@Sebi1963 maybe german regulations are different and always require diesels on standby on steam operations? Or it could have to do with the coaches as well, since iirc the coaches' heating and lighting are powered by the engine
I've come up with a theroy on the monster's origins. It's a Frankenstein like case. A workshop on the mainland was trying to figure out how engines come to life. So they resorted to playing God, with the monster being the end result. At first, the monster started out nice, but later became evil after being shunned by others, just like Frankenstein's monster. Either that, the Monster was always evil.
Array and Bert - oh well! Won't matter about Diesel 10 - we know that he had a rather electrificating time just prior to this story. Perhaps even still at the works - replacing his wiring is a long job!
I seriously gotta admit that it's actually quite spectacular to see Wolfgang's own official driver not in Wolfgang's own official cab for a change; especially with the officially well-known British engine crew uniform worn by the Island of Sodor's own officially well-knowingly famous North Western Railway's own official standard gauge railway lines instead of an official Austrian locomotive driver uniform!!!!!!!

I can only imagine Optimus Prime the big rig truck robot leader of the AUTOBOTS saying "I RISE, YOU FALL!" when the cyclops diesel locomotive gets blown up by the dynamite at the end of the episode.
IMO, the Marklin Engine’s name should be Heinz. Like he’s named after Heinz Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb. But he’d come before Doofenshmirtz though.
Hmm. Being stout and unflappable Scottish Engines - Donald and Douglas should keep that monster under order. Sir Topham selected them for that purpose.
I am a fan of germany steam Locomotives but the engine hans aka br 80 is just a good tank engine. Deswegen mage ich deutsche Dampfloks!! Und soga die br 182!!

16:37 Now that's what I call, going out with a bang. LOL. 😁
good
The overture of 1812 intensifies
Some things are a bit off from the German Part's, but it's still cool you tried to do something about Germans, most don't.
Yes very well done
I am German so i had to laugh at a few Parts but you did. the best you can
I’m German American.
What an amazing episode. Also, I like you giving the Marklin engine a name and history of Sodor in this episode. I sure hope he enjoys life in Germany again!

First the half engine and now this? Whatever engine with a part of its face missing will we get next?
Dynamiting a Monster. EXCELLENT
Happy to have worked on this! Quite unique for a Thomas story, definitely more interesting than your usual ghost engine fare
It feels like the One Eyed Truck all over again.
One eyed truck?

Good luck to you, Hans.
JA!!!!
Huh, I thought the monster would be misunderstood but I guess I was wrong. That was very interesting.

As I evidently used in Georg (more so) and Wolfgang
Okay that Sifa Sifa part really got mexdd
What if there's a orgins of one-eyed Class 44?
All we may know, is that it could have been an experiment in Crewe works or at Darby
Oh it's a 44, thought it was a 45. 😅 the more you know.
Good to see Hans out and about after all those years. Wolfgang was able to help out a fellow countryman and with help defeat the monster. Now the monster is no longer a threat. though people can be really morbid.
Not German - but Austrian is Wolfgang and Hans is German and both countries use German.
Diesel 10: Arry. Bert.
Arry: yes boss?
Bert: what is it?
Diesel 10: would you two get that abomination out of the ironworks!!!!
Diesel 10 might not be too pleased with Splatter and Dodge for hiding the ' monstrosity ' in his place of residence.
I thought the monster would be the killdane experiment but thats just me
That was a good story and a good story for Marklin. I know the Marklin model become Puffa in Tugs, but this story takes the cake.

AGREED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO COMPLETE DOUBT WHATSOEVER 'BOUT IT IN MY OWN OFFICIAL OPINIONATIVE THOUGHTS EXACTLY FOR SURE!!!!

Can someone pls explain to me why there was a V200 class diesel on the back of Hans' train in Germany?
If I recall correctly, when Steam engines run on the mainline nowadays they have to have a diesel in the back in case of emergency
But this is on a heritage railway.

Nice video, god jobb and I loved it thank you. I loved it becos you translet to german and englisch. 🇩🇪🏴🖤❤💛
I get the feeling that this story might get the thumbs up - from Wilbur and Christopher Awdry.
A Peak being blown up gives me a reminder of what happened to one of the 46's... after it went straight into... you know... *something.*
Is hans a class DB 80?.
He is.

That one part where all the electric engines in one shot was my favourite part what are all the electric engines names

Happy Halloween

Very good work! Nice to see Märklin/Hans!
The monster was one of the diesel D 199's brothers. I say this because of its base, which is a BR Class 45 just like Spamcan...
Did you realize that?.
I can only imagine Optimus Prime the big rig truck robot leader of the AUTOBOTS saying "I RISE, YOU FALL!" when the cyclops diesel locomotive gets blown up by the dynamite at the end of the episode.
How Could Hans forget English? he was on Sodor in 1984.
MÄRKLIN!!!!!!!!!
YEEEEAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!

Niddertalbahn

The diesel from the mainland is a cyclops engine
