- Guardner, from Undertale Yellow, was a really fun boss fight, with a great battle theme. Clover and Ceroba being trapped, and the little fun robot helpers, all underlined by a very sad misery about being obselete.

UNDERTALE YELLOW was created by the eponymous Team Undertale Yellow, and is a fangame of the game UNDERTALE by Toby Fox, now owned by his company Royal Sciences.
I actually love ths take on the Guardner. Instead of a broken machine reacting impulsively, she* is determined to free monsterkind with your soul.
Not to be annoying but Guardener is actually a girl (all the helper bots refer to her with she/her pronouns)

Gardener is such a forgotten boss with one of the best themes [in my opinion]
This song is freakin amazing, hits hard, the voice fits so well, Gradener is 'she' but voice fits well tho

Unironically one of my favorite works of yours, your Spamton ones are hard to beat but The Guardener is one of my favorites from UT: Yellow, I hope it gets more appreciation some time soon!

1:10 "While golden flowers brace our fall" and "The regal end impacts us all" is probably references to the start and the end of Undertale and Undertale Yellow. I think it's obvious about flowers, but about the second line, "the regal end" probably means the king, the king ASGORE that will be the last person we meet and that he will end our journey. Well, I can't made it out about who are "us", it can probably be about all the fallen humans 'cuz they all ended up being dead because of the king.

@@TheTrueJevil She's the worst in terms of actual battle design. Theme, great. Character, great. And I appreciate the fact that you beat her by actually ACT-ing, instead of it just being another "Wait It Out" boss. The vine gimmick is cool in theory, but annoying in practice. And last, but certainly not least, Guardener is the worst offender of UTY's biggest problem: Enemies not telegraphing their attacks properly. So many of Guardener's moves are complete bs to dodge, or even realize what's coming before you get hit (unless you've already been hit by them enough times to memorize the jank.) And when it takes a minimum of three whole turns to even get to your items to heal up, that makes the lack of fairness all the more apparent.
@@DramaJosh03 that's fair enough for paci/neutral but I feel Geno Ceroba was even more bs if we're including every route. With Guardener, while definitely bs the first time, once you know the attacks, most aren't really that bad. The game is centered around being able to come back after death. The game expects you to die at least once or twice. You're supposed to learn from those deaths, learn the patterns so you don't get hit next time. That's just my opinion, of course. If you think she's the worst boss, I'm not gonna try and change your mind. Just telling you my thoughts.

I think that the guardener idea of "cutting off" buttons is cool but... it's a bit overated beacose in almost half of the fangames sans, asgore or papyrus is like: " i'm sans phase 2 i have 2 billion health and i can doge, now you must use ACT to recover the FIGHT and ITEM buttons" but I guess it's pretty cool...
