Gonna say this here (Might make a community post) because Meta Flowey is what I'm known for in the lyrics community, and I'm already getting comments about this. I don't want to see any comments putting down other channels to prop mine up. Understood? This goes for all my videos, but seeing as Afterlife is one of my most popular, and I already regularly get people from both camps of "XXX is better than this!" or "This is better than XXX!" I want to make this clear:
You can compliment someone's work without dragging someone else down. And I especially do not approve of anyone walking into other people's communities, big or small, and spouting "DRAMA JOSH IS BETER THANN THIS!!!1!" I would hope you all are better than that. Thank you!

I absolutely LOVE the implementation of each of the specimens' themes into the lyrics! And the whole song being about Flowey's struggle to find just ONE outcome where Clover kills Asgore. So cool!
I love the little reference to Omega Flowey's fight where flowey says: "No big *finale* can save you now!" (at 8:51 ) . Man I love this community.

I find this line amazing because obviously it's referencing the omega flowey fight but also because Clover's soul is the last one to answer you before finale starts playing and you get to face off flowey, so it's almost like Frisk is finishing what Clover couldn't do, beat flowey at his own game

i love how the entire fight just lead to flowey getting bored because of how stubborn clover is, and the art really fits the twisted style of the battle great work.
Well technically there is a good chance that flowey gave up after breaking the fourth wall and seeing the player, being intimidated by seeing what to us would be a four dimensional god, on clover's side.
If you look at the end of the fight in UTY it really works well with the looking at you through the camera then the awkward/sorry kind of frightened face

Coming back after MOTI's version released, I feel MOTI did a better job with Best Friend's Forever, while Drama Josh did Afterlife better. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy both versions of each, they both did amazing jobs!

Never let the existence of other people's interpretations stop you from creating your own videos. Everyone has to start somewhere, and multiple takes of the same song are allowed to exist. If I stopped myself from creating videos because a bigger channel had already done it, like half my videos wouldn't've been made haha.

You could say it’s Asriel’s dust being “amalgamated” with that flower, but I will admit it’s kind of a stretch. He’s definitely very different from the other true lab subjects and doesn’t fully fit the definition, though.

My favourite parts are how the “WONDERFUL” in your lyrics matches the sample in the song itself and just how much wordplay was related to each particular specimen’s nature
oh my god i was hoping someone would do this, mechanical went so crazy this is WONDERFUL!
If i could add a bit of constructive criticism, i wouldve loved to have like an echo in the lyrics part, i feel as though it would make it seem like Flowey was everywhere and you truly couldnt escape. Make you feel small and defenseless (which you are)
But thats just my opinion, either way, this is still great!

Can't promise anything. But if I were to do it, it wouldn't be for a while. Seeing as more TS!US content is about to come in at full swing, sort of taking up the "Undertale slot" on my channel for the next couple months. I don't want my channel to exclusively become Undertale AU videos. Plus, I would want to do other tracks like Protocol first, to properly establish motifs, a Martlet VA, etc.

I feel like the lyrics of AFTERLIFE are kind of missing the fact that the Meta Flowey fight is just Flowey toying with Clover and not him trying to kill them.
Well he was planning on taking their soul to kill Asgore and take the others, Clover's soul just seems to resist the grasp of Flowey's vines when they are defeated.
This fight really shows how terrifying Flowey with control of the timeline it's way harder to win and that's not even a victory
