Ben, great video!!! I think you did that video just for me!! lol, I grew up around the old ford tractors, 8N, 2000, & 3000, & still using my 1970 3000 on the farm today!!! I helped my grandpa do hay & break/disc a many fields so I guess that’s why I’m partial to the old Ford’s, they last a long time if you keep them serviced on a regular basis!! Thanks for the old antique equipment video, loved it!!!
I think if you take all things into consideration the Ford 3000 and the Massey 135 would tie for best all time tractor under 50 horsepower. They were heavy enough and balanced enough they didn't have to have 4WD or Front Wheel Assist and they had enough horsepower to do just about any job you called on them to do. They were low slung and had such a low center of gravity that they were very stable on steep ground. I grew up on a John Deere 40 (I still have it and at 71 years old it still runs great) but my dream tractor for our small farm was either a 3000 Ford or 135 Massey.
My White is a little too high for the JD 450E baler, I had to adjust it down, but my son's MF 285 is perfect on drawbar height! My JD 702 v-rake has a kicker wheel, have never used it! The old Ford baler does a pretty nice job. Thanks for the video, I hope you have a good night!
Fortunately most of my stuff isn’t too far off on hitch height. But that 7060 with the taller rear tires definitely puts the hitch up in air more. Thanks for watching

I agree with that 100%! Definitely the two best tractors ever built. Thanks for watching

Looks good - use to be a lot of those Ford balers around here and in western NC where I have relatives. Same with the Ford 3000 too.
Tons of Ford 3000’s still being used. Thanks for watching
Great video God bless
Thank you! You too!
How many squares did he end up with. I can imagine having to load all of that by hand on the back of a flatbed and a trailer. Thank you for the video
I think around 150 or few more not real sure. They had a good size crew though. Thanks!
So what tractor today would be close to the Ford 3000? How about the New Holland Workmaster 50?
Probably so as far as horsepower but a 3000 would outlast 2 or 3 Workmasters. Thanks for watching
Amazing what you can do in an hour witch don't have a (w) in
Where'd you leave dad 😊
I have a Walton 2 basket
There’s a lot of them around! Thanks for watching
