I love how the composer decided to write All For One's themes.
Throughout the anime, the music you hear is a mix of techno instrumentals with more aggressive bass and guitar in the tense tracks, then you have all the more jazzy and cheery tracks for the Class 1-A and UA scenes where it's not action. A super colorful discography for the show overall.
But then the moment All For One is finally revealed, you get THIS. It's just so out of nowhere, so far away from what the rest of the other soundtracks are. Even the other theme where it's just piano and opera is chilling. And that's not just because the tracks themselves are tense, I think the piano and opera one is pretty calming by itself, but the fact it's so distinguishable from the rest of the soundtrack just adds this extra mystique and a sense of danger to All For One, who, just like his two themes, is something completely different from the rest of the villains. This entirely separate entity from the rest in the show. If it wasn't for this exact track, All For One's reveal at Kamino would not be as badass as it is.

@@DimentioFan1 Yep, there are all kinds of Star Wars locations. Tatooin Station (Tatooine), Hosu (Hoth), Kamino Ward (obvious) and Dagoba (Dagobah)

If you had the ability to take power like loose change you would treat them like that
To the point where he didn't even care about the quirk of Best Jeanist, the #4 hero at that time, alongside the rest of the heroes that were tasked with taking out the Kamino site, all in the Top 10 rankings. He only cared for Ragdoll, but her quirk was taken before the incident either way.
The fact you have a villain like All For One that has grown in power to such an extent, that he doesn't even want just any quirk unless it's strategically useful for him, is terrifying in its own right. It's like giving box wines to a fine wine connoisseur, he only considers the "exquisite" vintages and doesn't even care about anything else. Which is scary, because you'd expect All For One to take any quirk at this point, because it's disarming his opposition, but he doesn't care either way. He doesn't need that, it's beneath him. Not even worth the time.

All Might trying to cover the tiny flames while the howling wind blows all around him is to date one of the best images i've seen and this theme playing over it makes it a hundred times better. Just one of those things i'll always remember.
If anyone read manga of Berserk, this music goes very well when the entire planet was engulfed by the light.

@@justinx.8949 as a manga reader, i do believe All For One is a scarier villain than Tomura. In an istant he turns the bravest into cowards. He is ahead of him from any point of view: intelligence, behaviour, tactic, experience, strenght and knowledge. If it wasn't for his weakened body, he would be unstoppable.
Bro All for one has no eyes id rather be scared of someone who can see me instead of a guy who has to rely on guessing or night vision
Both end up scary in their own way during the manga, All For One is a scary display of knowlodge but then we have Shigaraki : **Spoilers ahead**
So fucking Shigaraki gains a buffed AFO Quirk along that can steal fucking OFA, not only that but in the current war arc, he looking like a fucking monstrocity, this mf has arms coming out of his arms, not only that but his decay quirk was buffed...AGAIN, Shigaraki is a different "scary" than AFO, while AFO is mostly scary in terms of his intellect, the raw power Shigaraki has rn is terrifying.
Someone else pointed it out in the comments but the fact that you hear "Midoriya Hisashi" at 0:23 makes it terrifying

This track should play when Tomura is wiping the floor with Endeavor, Aizawa and the Pro-heroes as well as when the Nomu show up.

I'm gonna have to disagree on the Nomu part. Sure, Nomu are powerful, but this theme seems overkill for them. No, this theme is the terror of facing down a god, and knowing you stand no chance. Of facing the mightiest quirks on the planet, and knowing true despair. The only time this should play is when Izuku is being terrifying or Shigaraki is about to lay the smack down on some pros.
This is the theme of gods. Only Izuku had full power and Shigaraki deserve such a thing.

@@Zakjuh I don't know...it doesn't really fit in for a hero figure. The track is to much aimed, for an villain/evil character. But I could imagine it, when Izuku and Shigaraki both using their ultimate or last strenght move, and clash with each other. Of course, it's only my opinion.^^

This has a serious duel of the fates/star wars vibe to it. In fact a lot of mha feels like star wars. In this case, all for one would be emporer palpatine, shigaraki would be vader, and tenko would be anakin before becoming evil, while deku would be luke skywalker, and all might would be obi-wan
Glad you brought this up because Horikoshi is a huge Star Wars fan, hence why a lot of stuff in MHA is based off of Star Wars (for example, Kamino, Musatafu, and Jaku are clear references to Star Wars planets)

Shigaraki is more of a Kylo Ren type character if you ask me… AFO is Darth Vader if you consider the helmet covering his mutilated face, courtesy of All Might.
