I've listened to many dongle and even desktop DAC reviews, and I've somehow missed hearing about previous and next track! This is a most basic feature of wireless buds (and old wired headphones with ANC) I use all the time to avoid having to wake up my phone. Thank you so much for mentioning this feature!! Is this unique among DAC's or is it something reviewers just don't bother mentioning? My last question if you don't mind...is there a desktop DAC/AMP powered by AC that provides this feature, and as good performance for not too much more $? I'd like to avoid wearing out my phones battery, or using a split USB power and data cable with power banks that will need replacement. I'm a new subscriber and am very impressed with your insightful, very helpful, and pleasant to watch reviews!
I got it with EPZ's 530 to go with it. You should try Fiio, which is also a great value. By the way, they've announced the BTR7 iteration later this year that has lossless Bluetooth!
The TP50 more mid forward , the Alpha more Organic and smoother but not warm and the more resolving of the two by alot. New IBasso en route with 4 CS43131 Dacs and a volume wheel I think it will be double the Alpha ???

Those opamps in the tp50 are Ricore like Shanling uses in M1s, they are nice and can also be tuned kinda warm, like Shanling house sound used to be

for simgot supermix 4, which filter suit best? i feel the subbass and uppermid a little bit too much, while adding more midbass punch would be great

Tempotec makes something like that I had one once forget what it was called. Personally I like DAP'S

Fiio KA17 has a dedicated usbc power port to avoid battery drain of your phone

I love my btr15 but will definitely upgrade to the btr17 for battery life and lossless codec
How does it sound with the epz 530? Does it lower the highs a bit and brings some thicker note weight and dynamics?

Pure SQ on DSD Files the R4 is smoother everything else the TP50
