I honestly think Mac Miller is one of the most talented artists that’s ever lived, I’ve grow up with his music, tv programmes and watching all his interviews, truly amazing person and would be good too see you react to more of his stuff and including his early stuff
i think they should hear earlier stuff first. the references to his past and to his older music is prevelant and important in that song, they should know it first to get the full meaning and emotion in it
Lucho Galdós I think they would like it, but in the context of Mac’s career I don’t think they would necessarily understand it’s value and appreciate it as much if they don’t hear his earlier stuff first for sure

Sadly listened to this album after he passed. Knew who he was but never put time into his music. Ashamed I never gave it a chance. It’s a beautiful album as a whole
Yeah I saw a thing where his album sales went through the roof after he died especially for his last album. It's sad people dont often know how great something is til it's gone. Mac was an incredible artists though. His evolution through his music is insane. RIP Mac. Wish you were still here
Please do Mac Miller- Best Day Ever. I’m from Pittsburgh where he’s from and you don’t understand how nice of a guy he was. Always humble and stayed connected with the city.
Living in Pittsburgh with Mac being gone you could really feel how hard it hit the entire town. He left such a legacy and was so unanimously loved. Not to mention that as soon as he passed it rained over the city for three days straight after we had nothing but sun before. RIP Mac
From my interpretation this song is displaying the constant battle & what he's going threw in his mind all day every day... Battling both sides of addiction... Knowing he should be taking better care of himself but on the other side he could be feeling like he is taking care or himself by using drugs to cope with his pain & life & everything he struggles with... I've battled addiction since 16 & I'm 26 now so I no that struggle far to well... The drugs will always be there for you & are always calling you but in the back of your mind you no you should be doing better for yourself & you no its not going to end well if you keep going... That's why he was so clairvoyant with this video & why you guys think its creepy because as addicts we all pretty much no the end game if we keep going... You can almost sense it coming from around the corner... This video represent the ying & the yang to me & the second part is him drifting off into oblivion after loosing his battle or finally just being at peace with everything & him having no more pain or thoughts or nothing just him in a unconscious state floating threw different dimensions peacefully... Its just a sad ending for everybody all around... Me & him were the same age he's like 10 months older then me & I've lost so many people to OD's & have been close myself many times so its just sad knowing that shit don't play the favor game for ANYBODY... We play with fire so much were bound to get burned one time... Anyways that's all just how i look at it threw my eyes all we can do now tho is just remember his art & keep his appreciation going his music will live on forever so even tho he's not hear physically heel always be spiritually... RIP Mac & my condolences to his friends & family... Just tragic!
I hope you can find a way out of addiction. It's all escape man. You will never escape what you try to when using. It will always come back. I think you are deeper than that shit though. Truly. When you experience the depth of your consciousness you may realize your struggles are just a little story that means nothing! The struggles are real and valid, and should be mourned if it feels right. Don't fear recognizing and validating your own shit to the universe. The universe was witnessing it the whole time, but it does not care. It finds it unimportant, just like the rest of itself. Feel free to process. You won't die; you'll just realize you aren't what you thought you were. Then you'll be free :)
Even though Mac passed away at only 26, his evolution and growth is almost unrivaled in Hiphop in my opinion. He was blowing up almost fresh out of highschool and his music was fun and just had an innocent stoner fratty vibe. Then as he grew older and became more famous and wealthy he got tied up in a lot of drugs and really developed his creativity in both beat production and lyrically. And then again as he got older he grew into like a hiphop hub who was producing and arranging things for himself and others and bringing everyone into his home studio for vibes and to make music. Instead of doing what would have made him more "popular" he made a love album and swimming which is just beautiful Jazz/Rap that I've never heard from anyone else. He was a true musician who rapped, sang, made beats, arranged songs, played several musical instruments because he loved music and hiphop so much. When he died it was amazing to see the amount of Musicians new and old that had the sweetest things to say about him and he was such a good person. He was honest and open about his issues and flaws in his music but everyone made it a point of saying he was such a positive person to be around that never showed his struggles because he didn't want them to bring others down. His rapping voice was smooth as butter, his singing voice was beautifully flawed and rarely overextended, his beat production was creative genius, he had a variety of flows, and his word play was phenomenal and usually fit the beat. He wasn't just a producer that made sick beats, but he arranged the beats and instruments and switchups and pauses to build songs which is true production. He wasn't just rapping over beats but really creating the entirety of a song. I know a lot of people that wrote him off because they didn't like his style when he first started. But that was the beauty of Mac. He always created songs true to himself in that moment and it ended up creating almost entirely different sounds with every album he created. Its so sad that we won't get to see how he would have continued to grow. Swimming is a beautiful piece of art that can't fully be appreciated unless you understand the growth that got him there and how much he really controlled every bit of it. You need to google the Jay Z tweet about Mac Miller. Hov was talking about all the awesome young black rappers coming up and he ended it by saying "Mac Miller nice too though." Because he was "nice" in every sense of the word. Diablo, When in Rome, S.D.S, 100 Grandkids, Insomniak (features Rick Ross), Dang! (R&B/HipHop all-timer), Thoughts from a balcony, Funeral, Ave Maria, Loud, Smile Back, Best Day Ever, Koolaid and Frozen Pizza, BDE, Fight the Feeling, and so many more really showcase his rapping ability at different points in his life.
This may be one of my favorite Mac Miller songs. Everyone always feels this song was a "redemption" for him and I felt like it was the opposite. The first part to me speaks about his death (literally being in a coffin) then he "rolls out" to emerge onto the other side... the afterlife, that he calls oblivion and he got stuck there but he's just chillin'... and the saddening part is, it's juxtaposed with the beat and his delivery of it all... Just my take though.
The whole swimming album has this same feel... you can tell he was in a dark place while writing the album, yet he still had hope. And to hit on what you where saying, to me at least, he was definitely trying fake it till you make it with this self care track. Rip Mac!
I am 46 and not what you would expect to be a Mac fan, but his last two albums are some of my all time favorites. He was underrated by so many and truly a gifted musician. He is sorely missed.
So fucking great to see a fresh perspective. Thank you so much for acknowledging how overly coincidental the timeline is for his death. god damn, still miss him everyday
Yep Wings and the song Dunno really hit me hard. Honestly the whole album I love and just might be my favorite of his. But those 2 songs especially usually get me emotional.
I hope you guys will continue to explore his music because he was immensely talented. My suggestions would be Hurt Feelings, Dang, Break the Law (or pretty much anything off of GOOD AM) and Rain.
Here's a list of Mac Miller songs you NEED to listen to God Is Fair - Mac Miller ft. Kendrick Lamar Fight The Feeling - Mac Miller ft. Kendrick Lamar Clubhouse - Mac Miller On and On - Mac Miller Objects In The Mirror - Mac Miller
When Mac pushes out of the ground, it’s like a metaphor that the old me is gone, I’ve learned and grown, like XXX he truly made an effort to be a better self, that makes it sadder they both passed shortly after growing as individuals
i miss Mac so much, thank you for sharing this with more people❤️ Edit : i also like the fact that you guys are so respectfull and carefull with your opinions
I remember listening to Mac Miller back in middle school and it's amazing how much his sound matured over the years. Back then he was more of a high school sound type of rapper but over the years grew into a concious rapper that touched R&B as well. After listening to his recent album I was excited for which avenue he was going to take next. Sadly, we will never know now but glad that he left us with such masterpieces.
Please listen to “Come back to Earth” by Mac Miller. It’s the first song off of his last album “Swimming”. The lyrics took on a whole new meaning after he died and it’s a very beautiful song.
Please react to his Tiny Desk performance. You can see what a fantastic musician he was. He sadly passed just days after that, you can see the raw emotion of his final days, the way he looks and his empty eyes. Whats The Use musically is amazing, 2009 is emotionally difficult to watch. RIP.
Memento Mori means "be mindful of death" or "remember that you will die". You'll hear Alan Watts in the Architects song at the end explaining its meaning further.
Mac Miller was a hometown hero. I remember first listening to him in the seventh grade on the school bus. To see him go from a Pittsburgh secret to an international celebrity was phenomenal. It made his death that much more heartbreaking when the news came out that he died. Thank you guys for doing this and I hope you do more especially off of Blue Slide Park.
Mac always knew he was playing with fire. When he was his most depressed/addicted, he made the mixtape Faces, which opens with the line "Shoulda died already"
He was an amazing musician. His music got so many people through tough times and his legacy and his art will carry on for the rest of time. Miss you Mac
@@ChivasBarcelonaMex my experience was that people enjoyed the first part more than the second part :D i love the half singing half rapping of the second part a lot more
He is giving us an idea of everyone destiny morti is a italian- latin word for we all will day someday, and he is ccomfortable with that knowledge and not afraid he is ready for it. All message is that we need to give our self, self care and that way we will not be lost in present life, or even if we are trying to live the day by day don't forget to give our self love and care. Bless he was a real artist and a beautiful soul rest in a better place 🙏
Watching the progression it's clear that this song really affected you both and I've seen Jon Denton's other reacts and it's cool to see you both grasp so much so quickly. I'm a post-death Mac fan and feel distraught thinking about this because I think the world was robbed of a well respected human, and great music. It sucks, but thank you for sharing.
You guys are class acts for having the moment of silence at the end of the video for him. As opposed to your normal outro rock music. Idk if that was done consciously or not but imma say yes. 👏🏼👏🏼 RIP Mac
Mac has a fantastic back catalogue that you guys should definitely go over. This video is most certainly eerie - match that with the fact he says like September I fall (September is when he died) and the Latin writing in the coffin that says something in relation to dying it now makes for a hard watch. Much better without the video! Great video as usual guys. Definitely check out the Tiny desk performance, you guys will love his energy and how down to earth he is - also the instrumental with blow your minds. R.I.P Malcolm.
Been requesting these forever, just please do any of them: $uicideboy$ - $outh $ide $uicide Skepta - Shutdown A$AP Rocky - Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2 A$AP Ferg - Plain Jane Kendrick Lamar - Money Trees $uicideboy$ - Exodus
@@matthewdoolan2257 didnt say that. Just pointing out that anyone who calls a surface level political song "deep" should end their life before they have the oppurtunity to procreate and spread their pathetic genes.
I agree it’s very surface level politics, I think it’s not like he’s saying anything new or pointing out something important, emotionally it doesnt really hit
you guys really are improving with every upload, I love that you put so much effort in and that you learn so quick. I'd also love to see you reacting to his tiny desk concert he did. It may be a little bit long, but it's one of the best things there is and you could do it as a special hommage to the man, he was one of a kind, a true artist.
Aye Simon from what culture finally checking out my favorite artist ever rip Mac still listen to you all the time. Great to see others appreciate your music and know how great you really were

Thanks for doing this, hope you guys get more into. Mac in the future, he's got a insane discography and it has so much meaning if you guys read about his life, I recommend doing his early work and go from there, up the years, it's insane his progress
Kid Cudi - Ghost! Kid Cudi - Mr. Rager KIDS SEE GHOSTS - Reborn, off the latest Kanye and Cudi collab tape If y'all enjoy Travis Scott then go ahead and react to some more Kid Cudi whom Travis actually named himself after (Cudi's birth name, Scott Mescudi), that's his biggest inspiration after all. Cudi and Kanye where the ones who revolutionized hip hop/pop music in the late 2000s, what hip hop is today is largely thanks to those two. They pushed the sounds and culture forward.
Could you please do Gorgeous or Devil In A New Dress by Kanye? Best ever uses of guitar in Hip Hop. Also Gorgeous is one of Kanye's best attempts at tackling racial issues so it's relevant to the discussion you had on The Blacker The Berry.
I hope you guys do more of Mac Miller and thanks for being respectful. He truly was an amazing artist who wasn't done growing. He did everything too. Don't listen to "perfect circle/god speed" by Mac Miller unless you want to cry.
Honestly, I had been a massive Mac Miller fan for years before he had passed. After his death, I went back through my favourite songs and it was completely eerie to listen to the way he discussed death. The amount of times he mentions ODing is insane.

Thank you for doing this song. It's refreshing to see you react to it from the vantage point you have. I'd recommend "2009" from his NPR Tiny Desk concert as well. It highlights how great of a live performer he is, illuminates a bit more where his mind was at, and is just a really powerful video.
After awhile after going through shit you stop to care about your life and thats what i feel the songs about which is why hes says "i have all the time in the world so for now im just chilling" because when you feel like you dont want to live anymore all your worries for the future go away

Please listen to “Come back to Earth” by Mac Miller. It’s the first song off of his last album “Swimming”. The lyrics took on a whole new meaning after he died and it’s a very beautiful song.
Ive been a fan of mac miller since middle school. Hes the only celebrity who I’ve literally never say a bad word about.
the "September I fall" line still have me shook, its like he predicted his own death, rip 🙏
His whole album, swimming, gives you an eerie feeling when listening to it from before and after. I would recommend every song on the album honestly.
MAC MILLER - COME BACK TO EARTH
MAC MILLER - STAY
Please react to his Tiny Desk performance. You can see what a fantastic musician he was. He sadly passed just days after that, you can see the raw emotion of his final days, the way he looks and his empty eyes. Whats The Use musically is amazing, 2009 is emotionally difficult to watch. RIP.
Rip Mac 🖤
edit: shoutout to Simon for getting into that Architects record. Memento Mori - Be mindful of death 👍🏼
Memento Mori means "be mindful of death" or "remember that you will die". You'll hear Alan Watts in the Architects song at the end explaining its meaning further.
Do “Funeral” by MAC Miller
Jeremy Butler great song
Mac Miller was a hometown hero. I remember first listening to him in the seventh grade on the school bus. To see him go from a Pittsburgh secret to an international celebrity was phenomenal. It made his death that much more heartbreaking when the news came out that he died. Thank you guys for doing this and I hope you do more especially off of Blue Slide Park.
never been much of a mac miller fan, but it sounds like he was a pretty good guy.
so much respect for being real and not pretending to know who mac was just for views you guys are so genuine thats half of why im subbed
5 minutes - Kirk Kight ft joey bada$$ or Like Water - Pro Era
Johnny Z. Muñoz like water is 🔥🔥🔥 rip steelo
Mac always knew he was playing with fire. When he was his most depressed/addicted, he made the mixtape Faces, which opens with the line "Shoulda died already"
please do more mac, id recommend his tiny desk concert or perfect circle /god speed. but anything really
He was an amazing musician. His music got so many people through tough times and his legacy and his art will carry on for the rest of time. Miss you Mac
Please do RAP DIABLO! 😫
Diablos the craziest song I have ever heard. So good.
This opening segment of the music video is an homage to the scene in Kill Bill Vol. 2 where The Bride escapes her grave after being buried alive.
I think you guys are way overdue to react to some Big K.R.I.T. Such an underrated GOAT.
Probably not most people's first choice but I would kill for a reaction to Bury Me In Gold.
Luke Ambrose I would say Children of the World for the ice breaker. That’s the song that made me a fan.
YESSSS!!! IVE BEEN OBSESSED WITH THIS VIDEO FOR THE LAST WEEK. trips me out. RIP Mac.

Never been this excited part 2
The second part of the song is soooo underrated
Lol how is it underrated? I think most people like this song because of the switch up and elevation it gives the song.
@@ChivasBarcelonaMex my experience was that people enjoyed the first part more than the second part :D i love the half singing half rapping of the second part a lot more
One of my fav artists ever. I'll always miss him. Listen to do it goes, funeral, new faces and everything else

Very heavy song, very eerie with the video, and very sad that he’s passed. Love you guys, keep up the dope work.
Listen to Knock Kncok by Mac Miller
You guys are always so respectful. Thank you for that.
Fight the Feeling by Mac and Kendrick!
Exhibit C by Jay Electronica is one of the greatest songs of all time
Thank you very much. Seriously Mac was my favourite artist, hope you react to more of his songs. I literally know them all so idk where to start.
mac miller faces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i get happy every time i get an ad on your guys’ videos. was waiting for this.
Travis Scott/young thug - pick up the phone
Watching the progression it's clear that this song really affected you both and I've seen Jon Denton's other reacts and it's cool to see you both grasp so much so quickly. I'm a post-death Mac fan and feel distraught thinking about this because I think the world was robbed of a well respected human, and great music. It sucks, but thank you for sharing.
Ski mask & xxxtentacion take a step back
You guys are class acts for having the moment of silence at the end of the video for him. As opposed to your normal outro rock music. Idk if that was done consciously or not but imma say yes. 👏🏼👏🏼 RIP Mac
Please react to Mac Miller ft. Kendrick Lamar - Fight the Feeling
Mariusz Schweda his best track imo
Mac has a fantastic back catalogue that you guys should definitely go over.
This video is most certainly eerie - match that with the fact he says like September I fall (September is when he died) and the Latin writing in the coffin that says something in relation to dying it now makes for a hard watch. Much better without the video! Great video as usual guys. Definitely check out the Tiny desk performance, you guys will love his energy and how down to earth he is - also the instrumental with blow your minds. R.I.P Malcolm.
Been requesting these forever, just please do any of them:
$uicideboy$ - $outh $ide $uicide

I just found out you guys did this reaction... I cannot! explain how excited I am!!!!!!!
Do some UK stuff, you guys were very impressed by Dave, check out Dave - question time. Deep and relatable
@@novasnotvibing you think it's not?
@@matthewdoolan2257 didnt say that. Just pointing out that anyone who calls a surface level political song "deep" should end their life before they have the oppurtunity to procreate and spread their pathetic genes.
Too political for this channel
I agree it’s very surface level politics, I think it’s not like he’s saying anything new or pointing out something important, emotionally it doesnt really hit
isaiah veirs L
you guys really are improving with every upload, I love that you put so much effort in and that you learn so quick. I'd also love to see you reacting to his tiny desk concert he did. It may be a little bit long, but it's one of the best things there is and you could do it as a special hommage to the man, he was one of a kind, a true artist.
Memento Mori, Remember you will die
Aye Simon from what culture finally checking out my favorite artist ever rip Mac still listen to you all the time. Great to see others appreciate your music and know how great you really were
Life is beautiful-Lil Peep next! Also, if you could do a vid with multiple peep songs that would be a amazing (they’re all pretty short)! Thanks for all your videos guys
It just doesn’t matter - Mac Miller . Is a must
React to Parents by Denzel Curry. It's one of his older tracks but maybe his first great one.
Rager
KIDS SEE GHOSTS - Reborn, off the latest Kanye and Cudi collab tape
If y'all enjoy Travis Scott then go ahead and react to some more Kid Cudi whom Travis actually named himself after (Cudi's birth name, Scott Mescudi), that's his biggest inspiration after all.
Cudi and Kanye where the ones who revolutionized hip hop/pop music in the late 2000s, what hip hop is today is largely thanks to those two. They pushed the sounds and culture forward.
They've already done Reborn.
So Happy yall are getting back to Mac. Man had undeniable talent and was just breaking through. RIP Mac Miller
Could you please do Gorgeous or Devil In A New Dress by Kanye? Best ever uses of guitar in Hip Hop. Also Gorgeous is one of Kanye's best attempts at tackling racial issues so it's relevant to the discussion you had on The Blacker The Berry.
I am who am - mac miller. Really gives me chills especially now. Rip mac, your music was my soundtrack to high school summers!
Kool-Aid and Frozen Pizza by Mac Miller
I hope you guys do more of Mac Miller and thanks for being respectful. He truly was an amazing artist who wasn't done growing. He did everything too. Don't listen to "perfect circle/god speed" by Mac Miller unless you want to cry.
Please do objects in the mirror by Mac Miller off his watching movies with the sound off album
This is a fantastic song. He was truly special. Very versatile and top-notch musicianship. A multi-instumentalist
2009 - Mac Miller
Honestly, I had been a massive Mac Miller fan for years before he had passed. After his death, I went back through my favourite songs and it was completely eerie to listen to the way he discussed death. The amount of times he mentions ODing is insane.
React to:
Trippie Redd - Topanga
Kanye West - Blood On The Leaves
Kendrick Lamar - HiiiPower
The Weeknd - Wicked Games
Kanye West - Devil In A New Dress (feat. Rick Ross)
Childish Gambino - Redbone (Live From The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon)
Mac Miller was great, definitely one of the best and most interesting acts of our time to me. I'm so sad he's gone.
another night, by mac miller
austin ftww classic
Thank you for doing this song. It's refreshing to see you react to it from the vantage point you have. I'd recommend "2009" from his NPR Tiny Desk concert as well. It highlights how great of a live performer he is, illuminates a bit more where his mind was at, and is just a really powerful video.
Aquemini by Outkast
Mega man by Lil Wayne
Mind playing tricks on me by Geto Boys
All these indeed! 💥
Beautiful reaction and discussion that I could really feel. Thank you.
LIL PEEP LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL PLEASE
Thank you for starting Mac. This entire album is a complete masterpiece, as is much of his work. The most underrated rapper.
odd future - oldie ( tyler the creators gruop)
After awhile after going through shit you stop to care about your life and thats what i feel the songs about which is why hes says "i have all the time in the world so for now im just chilling" because when you feel like you dont want to live anymore all your worries for the future go away
