I was able to plug my PowerDewise lav into the DJI Mic transmitter without the adapter and it worked fine. I purchase the DJI Mic system instead of the Rode Wireless Go system.
That’s what I was wondering , whether or not we could plug in the lav straight into the transmitter, have you encountered any bad things with your lav? I want to buy it cause it’s a cheaper option, also I like the sound of it
Same. Got the DJI and the mic sounded meh. Bought the Power dewise lav along with 3 others (including a cos 11d which didn’t work with the DJI) and the powerDeWise sounded the best. Can’t beat the price.
I bought one of these to record myself on camera. I put the adapter on it and plugged it into my Sony camera (that I've plugged plenty of other things into) and it just put out a terrible tone on top of the audio recording. The audio was completely unusable =(
Thank you for this. I use the mic2 by DJI and I bought this from Amazon. The same thing happened today on a shoot. I was going to have Amazon replace it thinking it was a one off issue. You helped me figure out to just return it and be done with it. Great job. Thank you for posting this Thank you for your honesty. You really helped me. :)
If you think it's the adaptor part, do you think it would work better to find a connector that has high ratings and buy it separately as an additional cost? I'm just wondering as I really like the sound and I don't want the glitches you thankfully mentioned.
Hi friend, Thank you for your video and sharing your experience with us. Can i use it for my car stereo? Since you are expert with microphones, can you guide me which microphones is suitable for my car? My car is 4x4 car and it is very noisy and when i received a call i really meed high quality microphone the same quality of my iPhone microphone.
Thank you for the video and the warning. I watched your video a little too late. I purchased two of the PowerDewise mics. They arrived today. I will test them out over the next few weeks. If I need to use the adapter, I will make sure to have a backup cable.
The mics are fine. 1) Don’t rely on cheap cables 2) Always have backup cables. That’s true for any product.
