Now that yuzu is gone, what would happen if we try this method today? I did this setup months back, so I have yuzu already on my Batocera. But for some reason my ryujinx seems broken, no games launch. If I did this method again to reinstall, would it overwrite and delete yuzu?
@@romaoprods never could find the .dev keys, but from what I read it was mixed into one of the other keys..I just had the other 2...idk of its new or what as this is my 1st time emulating switch

To those who are facing issues in getting controllers working after the game launch. You must first configure the controller. Press F1, go to Applications, yuzu-config, then select from the menu Emulation, Configure, Controls. In that screen, you may configure your controller and save the profile. Also, be sure everything is working as expected trying each button and checking in the screen accordingly.

Thank you! I updated my batocera and the switch games would open and then close instantly. I didn't delete anything I just did the command and tried again. All games open!

I have the same question. I used to put the update files in the same folder than roms as well, they from ryujinx set the updates, but... Now I see the updates and the Main Game in the list...
This question isn't being answered because the average user assumes you are pirating software. Lol I believe you're smart enough to learn how to use Google for that.

Google "how to install updates on yuzu" basically you have to open the menu with F1 while In batocera. Go to applications ,yuzu, install files to Nand and install the update and DLC files
anyone else get it stuck at "please wait" no matter how many times you try? Its connected to the internet and everything and starts like its going to install. it just stops there. this is on v38 but the github says it works with v38

Did it on mine which was 35 and it worked fine. That's what I tested it on prior to filming this video with the fresh setup. Not sure why it wouldn't download them. You have Wi-Fi connected right? I know I know but I have to ask. Did you get the download screens as shown in the video?
I updated from version 36 to 37 and it works much better for me emulators that did not work before or worked regularly (gamecube, ps2, wii) installed on a sixth generation intel nuc i5. You may need to install the bios package for version 37 for the new emulators to appear

I was planning to buy those micro pc from Dell or Lenovo, since you can't install a gpu, is there a minimum requirement from Intel CPU's to run the Switch emulators?
Unfortunatley i cannot awnser you question related to the Intel CPUs minimum requirements but If you go with a Raspberry pi 5 you can in fact add a external GPU. There are some Tutorials available online, i havent done it myself yet, though. But a pi 5 should be able to handle most Switch Games as it is.

Which model of Elitedesk do you have? some Intel wont be able to run Switch because of low specs graphics. If it is AMD Ryzen 5 2400g or up, it will be able to play smoothly

I think my Problem is that I am using an Raspberry Pi 4. When im trying to download the switch emulators with the code, it says I need the x86_64 version of Batocera. Then I flashed my micro sd drive with the Batocera x86_64 image but with this os it wont start at all. Is there any option to emulate switch on a raspberry?
So I installed the switch in Batocera 38 and everything was working great. Now when I try to launch a game from the main menu it tries to load then exits back to the main menu. I removed the applications and reinstalled and have the same issue. I can however launch the games inside the yuzu app. What can I do to solve this problem?
Everything seemed to be going fine, I thought I'd test out Untitled Goose Game as I figured that wouldn't be too taxing, but as soon as I try to launch it, I get taken to the F1 menu and an error message "open gl 4.6 you may need to update your drivers" I've checked my drivers everything seems uptodate, I've scowered forums and youtube videos for a solution and nothings worked 😩

I tried it in Batocera v40 and it seems to not run anything using any Switch emulator settings. I'm guessing it's one of the things they intentionally broke from v39 to v40? It doesn't add anything to the applications in the File Manager, so there's no way to access them there. Just did this today, 12th May 2024, and it installed all 5 emulators, including yuzu on Batocera 39

If you already have switch emulator installed, delete the switch folder in the system folder THEN do the install that he is showing you.

Switch mode controllers have issues in Batocera in general. They disconnect and can’t reconnect properly. Make sure you’re using it in X mode.

Where is the location for firmware for mk8 and others?
Open yuzu, go to file in the top left then second from the bottom is open yuzu folder.

Edit: It took two trys to run, but for some reason i get an error that the prod keys are not found. I loaded them in and it doesnt work.

I like batocera better. Way easier to setup as the emulators are included and its a better layout. Personal preference there tho.

But xterm doesnt show root@batocera for me. It shows root@easy and the command does nothing.

Hi My Yuzu only works if i open it behind batocera using F1 key, any one having the same issue? I am using batocera 38
