- There is a major update with Xenia on Batocera V36 and Batocera V37Beta. Indeed, many more games are now compatible with Xenia. In this tutorial, you will learn how to set up and configure Xenia (Xbox 360 emulator) in Batocera.

How would you install DLC packs?

using xenia canary or xenia on retrobat my xbox 360 controller works fine but for batocera 37 xenia xenia canary controller inputs doesn't work ingame
What do I do if my controller works in the menus but not in the game. I have mapped the controller as well as making sure it’s defaulted as player1. I have tried multiple controllers.

Getting mostly black screens or bounce backs on Steam Deck.
Its a shame theres no section going through the config and initial setup of the emulators beyond what Emulation Station shows you. The option in ES are good to be aware of, of course, but the Xenia config applications both do absolutely nothing for me. (In the Applications menu after hitting F1).
Lost Odyssey and Alpha Protocol both immediately fail to launch, and are .iso files in the proper folder too.
I had hoped this video would be a deeper dive into setup showing me something I was missing.
Im using a beta of 38, so they should both be the most recent builds of Xenia and Xenia-Canary.

Could you actually toss xenia and batocera on a mini computer and toss it into an arcade cab to play xbox 360 shmups that have been stuck on that console?
Doesn't boot, just returns to the main menu on every game.

I can run fight night round 4 well enough on my gtx 1080 i9 pc. But as soon as i boot into batocera linux, i get 3fps
Ok, so i have Xenia, and Canary, they both show up. I have the roms moved over, I am using X86, everything shows and can be scraped but nothing launches

You dont normally.
With each Batocera version update comes updates to emulators etc.

Updated to beta and now batocera wont boot with uefi. Worked just fine before... Someone please help
"INSERT XBOX DISC IN CD ROM"... I have that message anda can not do nothing more. The emulator works cause I have the LOGO and all of it but when try to enter the game PUM!!!, it say to "INSERT THE CD ROM"... Is anyway to fix it??? I have search and search and nothing... I try to run SPY VS SPY in XBOX at Batocera. Thnaks alot dude for your help and your greats Videos, are so simples but very helpful!!!!! THANKS!

I found the problem. Make sure you don't delete the file he mentioned and try not to modify the rom files in any way and see how it works. Ive had mixed luck in trying both.

Hey there, do you can help me out on a issue I encountered with batocera. Batocera won't let me upscale games from the native resolution. I tried it from the game options and through the emulator itself. What seems to be the issue?

all games error out to the system screen, tested xex and iso formats. log shows error: wine: '/userdata/saves/xenia-bottle' is a 32-bit installation, it cannot support 64-bit applications. Any suggestions?

Same here. Every game I try crashes with a Wine error, once they get past the title screen.
@@richarddukard8989 v37 beta fixed the issue but now my desktop can't even bootup batocera stuck on black screen after splash. But when i boot it on my hp laptop it runs normally.
I google the issue some users stated that gpt partion of batocera bios isn't recognized by the motherboard.
@@AkosiJeThroNever heard of that one? The only problem that'll cause that from what I know is the GPU. If it's Nvidia you need to edit the batocera config file to enable NVidia.

There is no Batocera version for PS4,not officially anyway.. Yet.
Any vids you seen Batocera running on PS4 is just the X86 64 version with a work around.

The title says setup Xenia in batocera, did anyone at any time actually see him do that ? All I see is him showing Xenia wiki page and deleting a file and boom it worked but you have to download Xenia and drop it in some where, where and what drop in ? Like stop explaining dumb shit and just put what’s in the title in the video
