That's probably the worst way to fight the Sacrifices, you should be doing Sab,Sab, Com. Then just keep using Ruinga while the two sabs debuff then, most battles take 30 seconds on average, not over 2 minutes.
Yes, and also, if you farm this spot before beating the game during chapter 12 there is a ramp right next to the 4x Sacrifices that you run halfway down to instantly respawn both groups. Easy better way to grind for both Perfume and Scarletite to sell. You can amass millions of gil far faster than the Adamantoise death spamming for Platinum Ingots method. I always use this location to upgrade ultimate weapons for my party prior to completing the game. If you miss this you can come back here post end game and back track to Eden Hall and run a circuit through the groups of Sacrifices and Sanctum Inquisitrix's to collect tons of the same drops while also farming massive CP with the Growth Egg to max out the last stage of the crystarium. I have always found this far more effective than farming for Platinum Ingots with death spamming.
damage depends on the stagger gauge, thats why it goes away when it hits. Snow's is the same way but people tend to use Fang because she has the highest attack in the game. When the stagger gauge is at 999.9% and u have her with the Genji Glove equipped it can do the highest amount of damage in the game if Fang's attack is high enough 999,999 X2 (1999998 damage)
You last a lot of time defeating sacrifices, debuff them until they gain Imperil status and buff your party to gain enfire, use the paradigm "tri disaster" and then use cerberus. I use this technique and I always get five stars rating.
You can also have other characters for the Cerberus Paradigm, personally, I suggest using Fang, Lightning, and Hope for Cerberus since Hope can also deal huge damage even with very low strength. Instead of using Attack, you can have him use Ruin or Ruinga to deal massive damage, this is also true with Vanille. From experience, I've seen Hope deal continuous sets of 99,999 damage without his Ultimate Weapon (Nue) and without the use of Magistral Crests
If you pre-emp the sacrefice you can stagger all of them with ruinga if you aim at the one in the middle. have a full team with COM and equip them with magic enhancing equipment so the AI also use ruin based dmg. you can juggle them and kill all of them in 5-20 sec depending on your stats.
Not bad, but when you take Long Gui's down in 6 minutes, and Shaolong Gui's down in under 2 minutes, that's all you need to do to farm. I run the oretoise camp on the plains in about 20 minutes, 3 gold dust+2 platinum ingot potential. Got too many traps though... BTW I run Lightning/Fang/Vanille, all of them with random instant stagger. Works wonders getting that second stagger (or taking out the legs).. but is purely for quick time objectives.
farming P.ingots is easier at Eden. There's an adamantoise next to save point. Kill, check the drop, if you get a P.ingot/Trapezo, save-quit-load, if you didn't quit-load. Faster than farming Mission 63 as you have to walk all the way back and forth to take the mission.
@blazenmessiah Conn catalogue helps with getting a trap, not ingot, and if you beat Titan's Trials, there is still one Adamantoise hanging round for you to beat by the second pond where chocobo and bking are (on the way to Mahabara)

eden's the better spot for the perfume and scarletite. use the teleporter, run the straight pathway fighting all the cie'th along the way, run back to the teleport point and all the cie'th you defeated will respawn. that way, you avoid the loading screen to have them respawn. i know of better paradigms to beat those cie'th as well. 1. all sabs, 2. relentless assault 3. all ravagers and 4. aggression (pre emptive strikes or last enemy only, useless otherwise)
collectors= common loot dropped more. connoiseur=more rare loot dropped. One of each at one time is best- do not stack. however equiping both will increase common and rare loot drops.
@princejmye i am using lionheart tier 3, fangs starting weapon tier 3 and snows starting weappon tier 2. Im using genji glove on each character, with collectors catalogue on lightning. And yes, slow gives you a little but more time, but if you dont cast it quickly there's no point as you would in fact lose time

@AllaDevie1995 For traps, yes (or even harder!). Umm... i reckon 12000HP+, Fang and lightning with 2000 str. Either that or just spam vanille's death, in which case you need two medics, a sabateur (Vanille) and 10000HP+
@blazenmessiah Mission 56 is a bitch, i only just did it. You have a 1% base chance of getting a 'trap'. Get five and that goes to 5%, and if you have a 'connisuer catalogue' equiped it goes to 7.5% It takes about and hour to get one if you average luck. Then you can fully upgrade the belladona wand to 'nirvana' *, dismantle it and you get back THREE 'traps' (meaning +2). This takes a while to do but gives a good return. Hope this helps. PS the big guy is an adamantoise.

Well I'd say that if you wanna lvl up fast...you need to beat mission 54, killing the neochu with death,(it might take a few attempts) in order to get the growth egg, next go to Archylte's steppe,right before you get to the mines there are a behemoth king and and a megistotherium(or w/e) fighting -Cerberus formation should work fine to kill them fastly.. Doing this with the growth egg equipped could make you farm around 1millon CP in 1 hour... In a manner of speaking that's an easy way to lvl up :D
Garcia Mora Or you could simply go titans trials with the growth egg, and go from armodillo, to the amam's, the Verladet, The Ouch and Tonberry's and then Atticuss the Soulless with btw has 150,000 cp with the growth egg. and in total per run with those lanes its over 400,000-500,000 cp. Plus the Tonberry Figurine as a prize from the Tonberry's rare drop and reward from just killing them, 28.500 gil.

I'm using Vanille as a leader for this hunting, I can't inflict Death spell on Adamantoise. Why the fuck is this? I slew 1 with it, but not anymore. I repeat this again and again but he is unbeatable.

I'm replaying the FF XIII and did this farm yesterday. Sab Sab Com is trashing these mobs like there is no tomorrow.
you can also farm incentive chips to sell for gil at the Estheim Residence in Palumpolum. I got 350,000 gil in 4hours.
