Small correction, but Travis is a member of the Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame not the national sprint Hall of Fame
Thank you, I got them mixed up
@@slidejobdom it’s all good great content you’ve been putting out I thoroughly enjoy it
@@BrandonAndersonthank you! I’m glad you enjoy my content. You’ve helped me tremendously in some of my videos, especially the 2004 Knoxville nationals and heartland park. Really glad that you were able to upload those, it’s hard finding stuff like that
Great Video! Opening photo of Fred sitting in that golf cart, if you only knew how many times a day I had to move that Cart out of my way so I could do my job at Brownfield Manufacturing, lol. Also glad you mentioned that a title sponsor was just about to be signed shortly after his death. I think my brother and maybe a small handful of others knew about this new title sponsor and it was going to be HUGE!!!! including a gigantic points fund for the tour drivers that never came to be. Also Thanks for the Shout out at the end of the Video a pleasant surprise for sure. I also have a dvd from the Inaugural event held at Tulare Thunderbowl that I will have to figure out how to get that uploaded to my channel sometime.
Thank you! I wonder if a tv deal would’ve been made in the next few years if that title sponsor was signed, especially if it was gonna be a huge sponsor. You deserved a shoutout, your videos really helped me with the making of this video, especially the 2 NST races. If you are able to upload those Tulare videos sometime in the future, I’d love to see them. I’ll share them on my community page as well.
Great story . Thanks
So crazy!! Today it was announced that they are doing a Fred Brownfield tour. Starting out with a 2 day show at Gray's Harbor then 2 races in Oregon and finishing with Skagit Speedway's 360 Summer Nationals.
The timing is insane! I’m really glad they’ve put something together in his honor. Last I saw of the Fred Brownfield Classic was in 2021, haven’t heard anything about it since.
All the hype you made for this video were completely spot on!!!! An absolute gem! Being from the northwest I had a small view as only a spectator through all of this and your video definitely filled in many missing spots of information. So appreciated and definitely shared!!
Thank you! I’m really glad you enjoyed it. This was probably my most in depth video I’ve done yet, learned lots of stuff when researching for this video
Fred brownfield northwest tour was announced today. It’s being resurrected by Skagit!
Great video. I’m the tow truck driver at Sunset Speedway in Banks Oregon. I drive the yellow tow truck parked at track center at 18:05 of the video. Though I never met Fred the truck still to this day has In Memory of Fred Brownfield stickers and stickers of his sprint car on the sides. It’s still yellow. I have repainted almost everything else on it except where those stickers are and I never will.
Great video. I knew Fred personally and he will always be missed.
Thank you! Fred was an amazing man. Very happy that they’re doing an event for him this year
Amazing video, i can't wait to see the video with the modifieds and the sprint cars
Thank you! Production starts soon for the stop motion 🏁
Great video! I am amazed how little is known about fred brownfield in this era of woo vs. High limit.
I think a video could be made about sprint car racing's 2006 season.
Thank you! The 2006 season was definitely a wild one. There could probably be a 30 minute long video going over that whole year lol
Thank You for this. Many sprint car fans will view this.
Someone needs to make sure Tanner Holmes sees this since he's from the Northwest area & runs at Skagit & Grays Harbor often.
Tanner knows about Fred. Him and I have talked about Fred.
Steve and Sammy dueled all weekend at the Thunderbowl for the opener. No domination by any means.
My dad raced on the NST back in the 90’s was a fun thing and a great group Fred put together. My first year in a sprint car Fred came up and said something in my ear under red flag condition, pretty sure my dad told him to give me a bad time.
Very tragic
Any way you could change the title and subtitle to something a bit more positive? Not trying to be rude at all, but maybe out of respect for the family: “History of the NST; Promoter’s Contribution to Sprint Car Racing” or something similar? Fred was such a nice man and his family might love to watch this but the title is a bit rough. Just my opinion. 😊
I completely understand. I went ahead and changed the thumbnail, I wanted to make this video with as much respect as possible. As for the Title, I am gonna keep it as it is because it really was tragic, and the title was also shown in the beginning in the video as well. Thank you for expressing your opinion 👍🏻
