it upsets me that abby told melissa that she didnt think this duet would win. Get over yourself if you have no faith in your own choreography there is a problem. This was perfect and i wish abby didnt have to put in two saphhires and just had faith in paige and chloe. Agree, Maddie and Kalani were just dancing, Paige and Chloe told us a story. And their technic weren't bad, of course, Paige's technic is not so good as Chloe's, Madie's or Kalani's, but she did really great job. If Abby took more attention to her technic, she would be AMAZING. And I think that dance is more like art, not sport. I'm upset that technic is more important than performance, telling a story... Technic is so important, but emotions and be a performer is merits of whole dancing.
And I think that Maddie's acting is so exaggerated. It's good to be on Sia's videos, but I don't feel her emotions when I watch her dances. I see it, but not feel. Chloe's acting is not so visible, but I can understand what she is bringing with dance, she's telling a story and I feel this, when she is dancing. It's beautiful. Paige has it too.

Does no body else ever think that the Hylands knew they were going to leave the studio and had informed Abby therefor she made this final duet for Chloe and Paige. It's telling the story that they were together forever and that when the wishbone snapped they are separated. When they exit from different sides of the stage it's like them going separate ways and saying goodbye?
I think they producers and Abby knew this was gonna be their last week (possibly for a different reason than shown) and that's why they gave Brooke and Paige solos and Paige the duet she had wanted so long. The fight may have been staged (although that's not super likely) because they needed a way to give the Hylands a sendoff on the show

The emotional connection is what has me hooked on this dance sometimes it is not all about the developes, battements, extensions, Fan kicks, Grand jete's, Switch leaps and all of those turns sometimes what counts is how emotionally invested the audience and judges are.
So Abby basically knows her studio sucks so she brought a dancer from another studio to get 1st place, yet her actual dancers would have won, thus making her look amazing, everyone knows Kalani's technique is from another studio. Poor Abby, she has zero confidence in herself as a teacher.
It saddens me that this was the final time we ever saw Chloe dance with Paige! They have such chemistry and I'm at least glad that they were able to do their duet before the Hylands left...
I haven't watched this dance since the episode aired, and it makes me really emotional, knowing that this is the last time we saw paige and Chloe together. Kelly said Brooke and paige don't see the other girls anymore (besides FaceTime and texting) this is the last time we will get to see paige dance, the last time we will see her on the show (despite the rumors, Kelly said they will not return in season 5..) I'm happy that paige and Brooke get to do what they want now but it breaks my heart that for 4 seasons we've watched these girls grow up and become beautiful talented amazing young women together, and this is how it ends; because of a stupid fight gone too far...
When Paige did that thing at 0:52 on Chloe's chin, it really shows what a connection those two have. Just how they look at each other shows that they are very close. It is a shame Abby needed to put Maddie and Kalani up against this dance. If she didn't, this would have won and the Hylands would still be at ALDC. I hope Abby realizes what she did caused a huge loss to her team.

Paige enjoyed musical theatre, but it didn't win. If you had changed this dance a little bit and made it a solo, Paige could have easily won first. Paige was and still is an amazing dancer.

It’s about technique, giving a great performance, clean footwork, awareness of your partner, smooth transitions, variety of energy, and much more that I haven’t explained. Because if I did this comment would be much much longer. Anyways, my point is, is that in the judges’ eyes and perspective they thought Kalani and Maddie gave a better performance.
it’s so upsetting that the Hylands left because you can see how it hurts Christi and Chloe emotionally on the show. Christi distanced herself from the group, and Chloe just always looked so upset and heartbroken
I love this duet so much, for many different reasons. Their friendship and emotional pain over what was going on at the time shone right through and helped their acting.
Paige is such an expressive dancer... if Abby gave her more attention and technique practice, she'd be unstoppable. Chloe, as always, is such a gorgeous dancer, very expressive as well.
What I love about this duet is that it's not just a bunch of turn sequences thrown together with a few dance moves in between, but rather it's actual dancing.
Very few things bring goosebumps across my skin and tears to my eyes. This is one of those things. The emotional investment and performance should've been enough to win, but they truly looked identical while dancing. Paige is really really underrated in S3-4 and that is a big reason why many believe she regressed. Their dancing together is so captivating and it is something that I wish there was more of.
I absolutely love this duet. It marks their friendship forever. And in my opinion it had way more meaning than Maddies and Kalanis duet. This should've won because you can feel the connection with them.

Have you realized that Abby doesn’t have faith in the dancers SHE trained? Like aside from Maddie, she talked about replacing them from the start but she’s just slapping her name on random dancers. I love this it's by far my favourite repeat button is broken I find it weird though the song is about being close to someone that your more like sisters and then what happened but the weirdest thing is that Chloe and Paige grew up like sisters more than friends and when Paige left Chloe got so upset
I feel like paige was right on the cusp of becoming a really beautiful dancer, and maturing with her own style. I hope she keeps dancing, because she has so much potential.

Chloe and Paige deserved to win because of the connection between them and they are best friends.Abby had no faith on them maybe if she had some confidence than maybe this wouldn't have happened and the Hylands and Lukasiaks would've been there longer cause Kelly got mad because of the duet so it's all Abby's fault and not the girls.Maddie and Kalani are a different story I didn't enjoy watching their solo cause it didn't stick out to me no matter what there was.
Esha Manesia I wouldn't say they 'deserved' to win because according to the judges, two sapphires beat them. I don't get why everyone says it's unfair that this dance came second... two sapphires beat them fairly.
Bloody Mary It was unfair because Paige and Chloe begged for a duet together, and were really excited to win. The second Abby doubted that they would win 1st, she threw in Kalani and Maddie's duet which they hadn't prepared for this competition at all. Paige and Chloe had the win in the bag, and Abby unfairly took that away from them. It was really unfortunate.

Esha Manesia I’m sorry but duets in dance competitions aren’t judged based on how great the friendship is. It’s about technique, giving a great performance, clean footwork, awareness of your partner, smooth transitions, variety of energy, and much more that I haven’t explained. Because if I did this comment would be much much longer. Anyways, my point is, is that in the judges’ eyes and perspective they thought Kalani and Maddie gave a better performance.

it’s so upsetting that the Hylands left because you can see how it hurts Christi and Chloe emotionally on the show. Christi distanced herself from the group, and Chloe just always looked so upset and heartbroken
I love this duet so much, for many different reasons. Their friendship and emotional pain over what was going on at the time shone right through and helped their acting.

What I love about this duet is that it's not just a bunch of turn sequences thrown together with a few dance moves in between, but rather it's actual dancing.

Very few things bring goosebumps across my skin and tears to my eyes. This is one of those things. The emotional investment and performance should've been enough to win, but they truly looked identical while dancing. Paige is really really underrated in S3-4 and that is a big reason why many believe she regressed. Their dancing together is so captivating and it is something that I wish there was more of.
I absolutely love this duet. It marks their friendship forever. And in my opinion it had way more meaning than Maddies and Kalanis duet. This should've won because you can feel the connection with them.
this duet breaks my heart because it was the last they danced together and the last time Paige danced and this was the best I've Paige perform and she was starting to improve

Have you realized that Abby doesn’t have faith in the dancers SHE trained? Like aside from Maddie, she talked about replacing them from the start but she’s just slapping her name on random dancers. If these dancers are so bad in her eyes maybe she’s just not training them well. She didn’t even train Kalani, Brynn, Camryn(can’t spell sorry), or Jojo to me that says a lot on its own

I love this it's by far my favourite repeat button is broken I find it weird though the song is about being close to someone that your more like sisters and then what happened but the weirdest thing is that Chloe and Paige grew up like sisters more than friends and when Paige left Chloe got so upset
