I have been threw a lot of the forest around here, pre and post fires. @ 70 years old have beat feet all over. The American river, Rubicon river and the Consumnes river canyons are all my play ground.
That looks like the fire up near Gossip Hump area, I picked that one the next year for Morel Mushrooms, and pulled about 2100lbs of delicious morels off the burn.
I agree too, just walking searching for the mother lode is a fun experience. Good video on experience and attitude! Thanks Josh, say hi to Dad!
