I just think you are so incredible. I love how you think, how you take care of the environment, how you grow/harvest/store your own food and I think the lessons you and your husband are teaching your family are so invaluable. Love your videos. Thank you for sharing with us. Hope you're able to get a little R&R during the colder winter months. 💚
I’ve missed these types of videos. I’ve followed you for a long time, since the great toilet paper debacle. Glad to see you’re doing well and living your dream!!!!
Everything looks straight out of a home and garden magazine- so chic, pretty, and stylish. I do not see the chaos you speak of, I just see abundance and a beautiful soft color palette. No wrappers, no boxes, hardly any plastic. Your pantry has a natural glow. I can see some onion rings, crispy onion topping, and butternut squash cookies in your future! Looking forward to more videos and all the lovely food you will prepare this winter. Thanks for sharing!
Amber, you have accomplished so much in your life!! You are so strong and beautiful and you have so much more energy than I'll ever have!! I started watching all your videos on Fairly Local and you have inspired me more then you'll ever know. You have a beautiful family and I have learned so much from you .Your gardens are wonderful and i try even harder to learn from you and your ideas about healthy cooking . You never give up and you inspire me so much in whatever you do!!🥰 You are a beautiful person inside snd out!!
I am a long time viewer too. What an amazing pantry. Your freezers are so full of goodness. I know for a long time, this is the life you wanted and you all are doing an amazing job on your homestead. I think the organized chaos is reality and really enjoyed seeing it all, Thanks for sharing.
I'm in Canada too... groceries are ridiculous. What I see is richness. RIchness in food, health and love. I love your shelves. And all your squash! 😮 😊
Your pantry and house are visually beautiful! So many colours and textures - a veritable feast for the eyes (and the body). I appreciate the sheer magnitude of work you all put in. I look forward to the day you launch your own line of homemade salves and nostrums ☺
The same thing you are doing with your zucchini you can do with pumpkins as well, dry them and grind them up - lots of protein 10/10. Amazing food storage, you’re an inspiration as always! Love you, Amber!
I admire your hard work. I am older with bad asthma & other health issues, which make me tired, plus an empath, so my job with many kids wears me out, but I try to grow a little & preserve a little. Love the tile floor and enjoyed your tour. Thank you, take care.
Yahoo! What a glorious tour. I am proud of you all and all your hard work. Don't forget to ferment some of your garlic in honey for cold and flu season 😊 Thanks for showing us everything!!
I admire this soooo much. Wow so much work went into this!!! Incredible for your family, the planet, your wallet and your health. I live in Ontario too and totally understand that it would be worth it🎉
I’m also a long time viewer, you are living your dream and I am so happy for you and your family, great pantry, even with the obstacles you faced this year you did amazing👍👍❤️❤️
Loved the video!❤ Thank you for showing us your pantry, the house looks amazing, I would love to see some cooking videos! And loved the Croatia honey! Hugs from a small farm in Croatia 🥰
I agree with the thing about edible flowers, like orange peels and carrot tops. I'm not a picky eater, I think beet greens, radish tops and turnip tops are delicious
Also for your dehydrated hot peppers...if you ever need to get rid of them bc you arent going theough quickly enough, its great to give to chickens as a preventative dewormer and keeps mice out of their food. :)
I look at your food storage and she, "you go girl." I don't see the mumble jumble or mess, I see a mama and papa preparing for the kiddos to have security. Blessings!
Such an impressive pantry! You are a true inspiration to us all! You should be so proud of all you’ve done this year! 😊 I started following shortly before you moved to this old farm….i have loved everything you’ve done thus far and am always in awe! You all work so hard! ✌🏼 -several years ago I had a community garden plot and planted a ton of lavender in it…I ended up having so much I would make lavender syrup and bottle it up for everyone that was part of this community garden…one day I would love to be on a level like you!🌱
chicken feet is an amazing ingredient to make broth too :-) a lot of collagen, minerals, calcium and phosphorous, and nice stuff that is so good for your body and bones 🤍 i think it's very fulfilling to make use of as much parts of the animal as possible, and in that way honoring their life. i've been following you for so many years, (since i was 17, now i'm 23) and i think you're so cool amber, you're one of my biggest inspirations to live a more intentional life. never stop bringing light to others!
Hello Amber, I am so thrilled to see just how much you get accomplished. What a great way to serve your family with your spirit and love, Take care bye for now, Steven
I love it! Thank you for sharing!❤ Not once did I have the thought that it looks unorganized. Just looks like you are prepared and in the process of doing what you love. Carry on! 🤗
It all looks fantastic! Doing a great job! It is organized perfectly! Do not worry about people who have pinterest worthy pantries - they do not use them for what pantry is supposed to be used for. They use it to show off. You on the other hand have fully functioning pantry/freezer system going, and that is worth more than any pinterest worthy pantry could ever be!
Wow amber what can I say. You should be so proud of yourself for what you have done and what you are doing ❤️ I have watched you for years and your just blossoming. Your hair is also looking gorgeous ❤❤❤
It's a relief to hear someone else also thinks calendula tastes awful, haha- all the books I've read are like "use it in salads..." No thanks, just skincare for me and the occasional blossom to make my tea look pretty. Thanks for the inspiring pantry tour!
Hey Amber!! Thanks for sharing! I love these types of videos! I have been watching since your dreadlock days 💚 you are so inspiring and I want to say thank you for what you do! One love from Minnesota, USA
I love how you did this video just keeping it real and showing pretty much what my house looks like. It'd be great if you dif videos throughout TBE winter showing us what you eat.
That is awesome all the food you have preserved! And there is no need to explain why freezers look a certain way or why things are not put up yet. If you were dealing with health issues, being a mom and wife you did good doing what you have done
Really love this video, it helps me a lot!! And I admire that beautiful energy you have despite all the challenges you have had to overcome. A big hug for you and your family from Spain❤❤
I think the lips on your shelves are great safeguards against further concussions (more so than against the very localized and infrequent tornadoes)😉 Congrats on the amazing pantry “un-haul.”
It’s unbelievable all that u did with a TBI! I can’t imagine what you would of done without the TBI. It’s crazy, u did A TON! Very impressive. Food prices are through the roof everywhere and I’m curious what you spent at the store in one year, knowing you I’m sure it was a very low amount due to all the great deals you found. The .30 cent jar of pickles you got was worth it just for the jar itself! Great video👍🌻
Hey girlie just a quick tip on shelling those beans. Put them in an old pillow case and whack them on a hard surface. Beans fall to the bottom.❤❤Hope this helps and saves you some time and also your fingers!!
Wow Amber! This is seriously impressive period let alone while recovering from a TBI! Also you had me cackling with your INFUSED calendula oil. 😂 Infused! Thanks so much for sharing
Great video and your pantry is amazing. You did so much this year, well done! You always give me great ideas of things to try out. Completely off topic but your plait is unreal! I have thick hair but I'm a bit jealous 😂
Damn, I loved this video! And I'm so glad you brought up your very-infused calendula oil. I have a quart jar of calendula oil that's a year old, and I was feeling guilty that I hadn't gotten around to doing anything with it, and I was wondering if it would even still be good to make into salve. I now have my answer!
I would love to do what you do, I don’t know what a lot of things you forage are and would probably end up poisoning my family. I can and freeze and dehydrate the things I know and I’m trying to learn more , so I really enjoyed watching you and I subscribed to your channel. How did you get your concussion.
I hate it how you are so apologetic. After watching you for the better part of a decade now and knowing from own experience what it takes to hold it all together, I wish you'd become more aware of how much you accomplish and how few people could pride themselves to match similar expectations - even without your health struggles, without 3 small kids and with no old farm to rehabilitate. I need you to show more objectivity and therefor pride in both what and how much you manage to do and why, because if you of all people are that humble and demure for no effing reason - how will a (young) woman feel about herself seeing that? You are an exceptional woman and human being, please act and feel accordingly. ❤
Can i buy some of your hot pepper powder , it looks me so fun to try some of your stuf . Also ramps or some teas i never heared of and iam on the other side of the world but it looks so fun to try
Just wondering if youd touch on why you chose to get rid of your freeze drier! So many people have them and rave about them, Ive thought about taking the plunge, but Id LOVE an honest opinion!
Hey nice to meet another fellow ontarioan! We also homestead. Im curious where you got those icicle pickles from? My husband grew up horse and buggy mennonite, and his family makes icicle pickles, and i can them as well.
In Spain when we buy the eggs in supermarkets they are not in the frigde abd they have poop and chicken feathers but we are recommended to never wash the eggs
We keep the eggs on the counter, unwashed, so that the bloom stays on (that way they stay good at room temperature). We only wash the eggs right before cooking, that way we don't get poop/feathers around the cooking area.
Don't worry about how your home looks. It's yours, you have to function and live in it so do what works for you. Honestly, your home is probably like most, it's not the "social media show room" that others project. Love that you all are so real and relatable.
Oh gosh, thank you. I think social media makes people feel like they have to have showcase houses rather than lived in houses… and ours is very lived in. I feel like I have to put a disclaimer on videos because of what people are so used to!
Thank you so much! I hope so too!
So proud of you, Amber! I've been following you since Indie was a baby and it's wonderful to see how far you've come and how well you're doing!! ❤❤❤
Thank you for being here! It's been a journey haha!
Same here! You rock, Amber! Much love to everyone here. ❤
I’ve watched you for at least a decade now! You’ve come so far❤️
Thank you so much for being here!
Me too will follow her always :) She has taught me a lot and I am double her age and the same morals she has. 💕
LOVE LOVE LOVE your pantry tour. Squash are amazing. All fruits of your labor. I love you and your family's enthusiasm.
I’ve missed these types of videos. I’ve followed you for a long time, since the great toilet paper debacle. Glad to see you’re doing well and living your dream!!!!
Me too :)))

Oh gosh, wow. Thank you, you are really too kind! And definitely lots of dehydrated onion and squash creations of all sorts in the future 🤣

Thank you so much for being here! And thank you for your kindness 🤗❤️
Your mushrooms and onions are the perfect reason for a freeze dryer! Peppers too. I used to dehydrate all but now love the freeze drying.
Love it!! You have a working and functioning kitchen and pantry! You keep me inspired!!
Been watching forever...just have to tell you that you have never looked so good! You have a glow about you and it is noticeable!
Thank you, feeling a lot better these days!
It's amazing how you and your family have blossomed and grown. I started following you before your third child was born.
Wow! Look at you guys rocking homesteading and farming! Great job!
I'm in Canada too... groceries are ridiculous. What I see is richness. RIchness in food, health and love. I love your shelves. And all your squash! 😮 😊
Aw thank you!!
Your pantry and house are visually beautiful! So many colours and textures - a veritable feast for the eyes (and the body). I appreciate the sheer magnitude of work you all put in. I look forward to the day you launch your own line of homemade salves and nostrums ☺
Haha thank you!! ❤❤
Living a prepared life is so smart.
The same thing you are doing with your zucchini you can do with pumpkins as well, dry them and grind them up - lots of protein 10/10. Amazing food storage, you’re an inspiration as always! Love you, Amber!
Oh yes!! Thank you for the idea! But most likely we’ll eat those too fast 😂
Idk what are you doing differently, but you look so radiant and healthy!!❤️
Thank you!!
I admire your hard work. I am older with bad asthma & other health issues, which make me tired, plus an empath, so my job with many kids wears me out, but I try to grow a little & preserve a little. Love the tile floor and enjoyed your tour. Thank you, take care.
would love more content on why you choose dehydrator over a freeze-dryer! so interesting!
Will definitely make that video!
Your skin is so pretty. I've been around since your getting out of debt days. It was so inspirational then as well as now
Thank you so much!
Yahoo! What a glorious tour. I am proud of you all and all your hard work. Don't forget to ferment some of your garlic in honey for cold and flu season 😊 Thanks for showing us everything!!
Every year I do! I have some from 3 years ago that is especially potent! :D
I ferment garlic and unpasteurized honey , very useful!
I admire this soooo much. Wow so much work went into this!!! Incredible for your family, the planet, your wallet and your health. I live in Ontario too and totally understand that it would be worth it🎉
Thank you so much!! It’s definitely worth it! ❤
Ooh, I want the video on why you don't want a freeze dryer.
Will do!
I’m also a long time viewer, you are living your dream and I am so happy for you and your family, great pantry, even with the obstacles you faced this year you did amazing👍👍❤️❤️
Thank you so much!!
I love those recycled jars! And thats how its done!
I think it’s beautiful how much food you were able to produce and put up for the winter.
Thank you! ❤
Loved the video!❤ Thank you for showing us your pantry, the house looks amazing, I would love to see some cooking videos! And loved the Croatia honey! Hugs from a small farm in Croatia 🥰

Nice to see you again and looking so healthy. I’ve watched you years ago. Great work that you’re doing for your family.
Fantastic!
Many thanks!
Also for your dehydrated hot peppers...if you ever need to get rid of them bc you arent going theough quickly enough, its great to give to chickens as a preventative dewormer and keeps mice out of their food. :)

My husband makes a mushroom, black pepper seasoning that we put on everything especially roasted potatoes
Can you please share the recipe? Thank you😁
You are amazing, great job
Ayy honey from Croatia😁😁Croatian follower here.🤗love your videos Amber, you are amazing!
Hello from PEI. We moved from Ontario 8 years ago, from a concrete world to green peaceful farm.
That is awesome all the food you have preserved! And there is no need to explain why freezers look a certain way or why things are not put up yet. If you were dealing with health issues, being a mom and wife you did good doing what you have done

Congrats on the amazing pantry “un-haul.”
That’s an awesome and amazing food pantry!! In every area !!
Love it !! So impressed!!
Oh gosh, thank you!!
You said 4 degrees???? And no jacket???? You are awesome, I freeze at 55 degrees😂😂😂.
Canadian summer 🤣 Jokes, it’s been colder than this and so today was a warm day. Weather is flip flopping, it was 8 the other day!
They're high in New Brunswick also that is why so many people are going to food banks and soup kitchens
“It’s an edible flower but it taste awful” 😂😂
They truly do...
Great work!
Thank you! Cheers!

I found another way, I stomp on them now 🤣
Great tip, why didn't I think of this!
I LOVE THIS VIDEOS 😍😍
Thank you!!
Aw thank you so much!! ☺️ ❤️
Are there certain fruits or veggies that we should cook before freezing? Thank you for all of your work to help the world!
💖🙏🏼💖
Hey, have you ever tried making mushroom flour? You have enough of that dried Puffball to try!
That’s exactly what I’ll be doing with it!
Wow Amber! This is seriously impressive period let alone while recovering from a TBI! Also you had me cackling with your INFUSED calendula oil. 😂 Infused! Thanks so much for sharing
Haha thank you, you are very kind! 🤗❤️
Great video and your pantry is amazing. You did so much this year, well done! You always give me great ideas of things to try out. Completely off topic but your plait is unreal! I have thick hair but I'm a bit jealous 😂

I enjoyed the tour, I'm new to your channel ❤
Welcome!!
Cool Calendula pee water (Ha HA kidding).I used to make soaps lotions and stuff too.Your dehydrating though is out of this world awesome. Best to you.
❤️❤️❤️
Great video and new subscriber:)
Thanks for subbing and welcome!
I would love to do what you do, I don’t know what a lot of things you forage are and would probably end up poisoning my family. I can and freeze and dehydrate the things I know and I’m trying to learn more , so I really enjoyed watching you and I subscribed to your channel. How did you get your concussion.
There’s a past video where she tells the story 😊

It’s amazing how much food you were able to have after just buying the house 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
15 month now of working on it! :)
❤❤❤❤❤
Those greenish spaghetti squashes look cross pollinated with zucchini. Happened a few times in my dad's garden. Still tasted like spaghetti squash!
Still tastes like spaghetti squash here too!
Every time I watch your videos I’m inspired thank you for sharing! Also curious why you didn’t care for the freeze dryer?
I’ll probably make a video explaining everything about that!
Would love to see more gluten free recipes?
Can you tell us how you make your body care products? I make my own whipped lotion and bars but curious what you do. Thanks!
I may make some videos on the topic!!
My neighbour gave them to me! She makes them!
You guys are amazing! Do you have a backup in case of a black out?
We do, absolutely wouldn’t have this many freezers if we didn’t!
Do you ever make fermented garlic in honey? as a natural antibiotic? Your pantry is beautiful! Just like you....
I do! I have some from two years ago that is still kicking! I also make fermented salsa, kraut and hot sauce!
@@FairlyRooted nice!

@@FairlyRooted it was not a critique 🥺🙏🏻 It was just a fun fact
Oh didn’t take it as one! Just explaining what we do and that I agree! I think it’s awesome that Spain does the same as well! ❤️🤗
Is there a way you can put a second stove outside? This way your family can bake with the flour and not bring inside.
