Hey brother now you're in my neck of the woods! Good to see you in Iowa. As someone who has lived in both Las Vegas and Des Moines, Iowa I was happy to see this. Iowa actually has some of the best casinos in the country in my opinion. Iowa has the most casinos per capita than any other state not named Nevada. The climate is actually pretty similar these days too outside of Winter. I don't recommend Iowa in July. It's just as hot as Nevada most days, plus you'll have humidity here. It's like you step outside and immediately took a shower with your clothes on. In Nevada, the heat is dry. There, I wore long sleeve denim work shirts a lot in summer to keep the sun off me and that works. Almost like overseas where they are all wearing long loose clothing. Anyways, keep on keeping on. Love the channel. Its genuinely one of the best, and I'm always intrigued by the places you visit. Even if I know them well.

Dubuque to Superior is a little over 340 miles, FYI. Would have been neat to meet you if I was in the area when you went through. Chief Blackhawk used to be taught about in schools but now like the food packaging nothing is allowed. Wisconsin was the top wheat producer at one time also top hemp, tobacco has been grown in Wisconsin for over a thousand years it has been found in the digs. Wisconsin use to grow a lot of tobacco but it has dropped off to very little. When you left Dubuque you could have got on the Ferry to cross into Wisconsin. The Mississippi River Museum sure looks different, we use to go there a few times a year but it was affordable in the past to take a bunch of kids there.

In case anyone is interested that town is pronounced Prairie Dew Shane. If you would have followed the Mississippi further you could have filmed the town where they filmed Grumpier Old Men. That movie was so realistic. Never boated all the way down but did many river trips including from Bayport, MN to almost the MO border. Lots and lots of locks. The walls are very slimy.
