Thanks! Highly recommend n-scale. You cram a lot of action into a relatively small space and the available parts and details have come a long way - especially with sound.
Nice work by Scale Trains (and you presenting). I have several Scale Trains Locos. Seems every time I go in a model train shop that sells them I have to pick one up. As I travel this summer I plan to stop at lots of model train shops. I will need to expand my track to handle more locos. LOL.
i know that pain... i've now expanded three times. it's already not enough i have one more ridiculous expansion planned. i'm sure it'll last only a few months before i fill it with more locos and cars. happy hunting!
Hi C Mastracci , that is a nice locomotive I do like the primer gray paint. But I will not be getting one out of my era. I did pick up 2 more C 39-8’ s in the NS. Scale Trains had them on sale. So I will probably not be getting the Inter Mountain SD 40-2’s that I per order months ago. I have 6 SD 40-2’s in the Southern and I have Norfolk and Western on per order from Scale Trains should be here in September. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Scale Trains does GP 30 in the Southern and Norfolk and Western. The Southern unit they did in H O they went to the N C T M to get pictures. They have one in the round house and run it through the old Spencer yard. I do enjoy your hearing your a pinion on products and honest feedback. Thanks for sharing. Have a good week. 😎😎 👍
At this rate, i don't even know what era i'm modeling. i have locos from the 60 to present day and i don't mind putting them in the same consist if they look cool LOL! I know i'm not doing it 'right' but i can't help myself. I'm clearly addicted to locomotives and i don't see myself getting help anytime soon. seems these manufacturers started listening to us consumers and they're putting out a lot of really cool stuff... but it seems like it's all coming out at once. this is not good for the checkbook. but it's an investment, right?
if you're just trying your first custom paint job i would highly recommend an unfinished Atlas model. They're less expensive, can still come with the ESU Loksound 5 decoder and you can add the little details after you've painted it.
Love the channel, especially the product reviews. One request though. On the intro section would you lower the volume a few notches?
I’m pushing 60 and will always love train sets and race tracks, I never wanted to grow up. Nice set up ya have here 🐾✌️🇺🇸
There's no age cap in fun - and growing up is simply a trap we all get stuck in. But model trains... those are forever timeless.
Looks like a lot of fun👍🏻
Im gonna start modeling N scale soon cause it looks good your layout is so detailed n so nice looking

I am just looking to get started in model railroading. I'm down in (far) southwestern Pa. From your name, I'm guessing you may not be too far away?
I'm thinking about custom painting a locomotive. Should I use this one as a base or just buy a blank loco?

Sweet mamma!
Yes, you want one. LOL!

Nevermind, I found your video.
