It will probably pass with time, but right now it stings that Valve's efforts towards CS2 hasn't resulted in an output that is universally applauded, no matter that each update is a step to somewhere.

I know people who have farmed tens of thousands of stars already because of the glitched lobbies. In case Valve stepped in to remove the stars or items acquired using stars, they hid everything in storage units. Thousands of cases from each collection, countless blue gems, and so many keychains. They had bots running simultaneously 24/7 - completing entire passes in a single match.
I'm just a random internet stranger but if that ending was not just a joke I really hope that things work out well for you. You're such an awesome guy, I wish you the very best in life :)

Can we PLEASE ditch the decades-long joke that Valve are somehow the only angels in the gaming industry? tbh up until this update, they had not really been THAT greedy. Lazy yes, some occasional where they did show signs of greed, yes. But all operations before at least included some gameplay changes. They should 100% be lynched for this update, though, this is ridiculous
Thing is, it's still neat as fuck. If the market is anything like the last few operations, players will make money if they just sell the stuff they get of the stars. It's basically time investment to play the game to make a bit of cash. Which other game can do that? For example last operation my items had roughly double the value of my costs if I d sold them.
The core of counter strike itself is already optimized to such a degree that it is expected to only have minor changes every few months. Skins and passes are purely cosmetic and a nice bonus. I don't see them being "bad" here. The mountains of money they earn seem to be used for developing some major games and don't forget about all the hardware stuff they develope. It is not comparable to EA and such.
@@TVDaJa They have not made a P2W aspect to anything. Valve is legit gamer for the gamers. Over 13 years I personally use valve products and not a single complaint (apart from revolver being released those few days were crazy but its funny in retrospect)
its 16 dollars for 40 stars. This means its basically $1.60 for a case, $.40 for a sticker, $1.20 for a charm. Purely cosmetic, no gameplay advantage. Is it really that bad?

counterstrike becomes more and more a sport but instead of gear that improves your gameplay they provide more and more gear to individulize your gaming experience, while giving creators a way to get some kind if a passiv income. it having become quite a wild ecosystem

Ahh yes, Valve added a more dynamic gun buddies and more colorful guns that is rivaling COD flashy skins that barely fits with the game aesthetic that makes what most CS player back then were afraid of what the game will become rather than fixing cheater and gameplay issue. My favourite updates so far. I just can't wait another Nicki Minaj exclusive skin with skibidi gun buddies, a dragon lore that is actually a dragon and awp renamed to OP (originated from Valorant for those who doesn't play Valo) since more and more people always called it as OP in CS2.
I generally wait to watch your videos covering any updates, even if its already been heavily covered elsewhere, as I find your videos to generally be more informative and especially more entertaining.
