You can press x to direct your whole squad to a location, or press k and x to direct individually. You can also alter how far your squad is from you by using the controls at the bottom of the soldier selection wheel. Also, by pressing v, you put down a marker that will be shown to everyone of your team and cause your squad to focus towards it.

Every time I see someone 150 meters from the objective we are supposed to defend, looking at the bombers in the sky I understand why my team loses every match
Hey, it could be worse. They could be sitting in spawn doing nothing outside actually calling in those bombers back to back (I've actually had teams like that a few times)
I'm glad you like Enlisted. It's been months since I've last played. Anyways, you can micro manage or macro manage your squad members to protect/defend certain areas by clicking "X". If I'm not mistaken, you can command them as whole or can command each member to do specific things. What I usually do is something like this: If I have sniper squad - I position them somewhere safe so that if the main sniper dies I can switch to another member that have sniper. Giving me more "lives" to play as a sniper. or sometimes I just switch if I don't have ammo anymore If I have engineer - I use the AI to help me build fortifications or cannons faster If I have regular squad - I position them to hold certain areas to def flags. Sometimes I use them as fodder when entering tight locations. Anways, good content hopefully you play more of it! :)
Enlisted is just a sandbox ai easy mode shooting game but you just get randomly sniped by a real player from across the map and the funny part is you can never figure out if you killed a real player or stupid bot, and I love it
Been waiting for you to play this game for a few years now. I think the reason why everyone is getting into it now is because it finally came onto Steam a few months ago.
You honestly came to this game at a good time, after so many much needed QoL patches and updates, if you were playing this back during it's early days the grind was INSANE since it used be separate campaigns that don't share experience research points but after 2023, the grind became much more bearable, especially for new comers. I myself played before the "merge" update and the grind was abysmal and that's coming from a former War Thunder player. Enlisted is genuinely a fun game and it's pretty forgiving in terms of getting items now, hope ya stick around to playing this F2P FPS :)
Should check out the mods for Korean war, Vietnam and modern conflict. They only give XP if the lobby has enough human players, but they usually have quick access to air support/artillery and such. Love the channel keep these vids rolling.
I used to play this game a lot and the game is kinda good. Its free and its well made with a lot of content what more can you ask. thx habie for another saturday saved. the game feels a bit cheep but is still really fun to play. I just got a plane and flew around all the time didnt even care about the grind.
Pro-tip: Giving your squad members individual orders makes them smarter. It's also better to control their positioning more, like maybe you wanna occupy all the windows of a room or cover a staircase up to your camping spot. I used to think this was tedious but really just have more convenient keybinds for switching to individual tasking. Helps that the keybind settings take button combos. Mine is Thumb Mouse Button 1 + Z.
I love the mod that turns enlisted from a ww2 combined arms fps game, into a late 20th century version combined arms fps. I can’t explain how amazing it is to watch an Abrams mow down a load of dudes, explode one of said dudes with a barrett, and then getting a nose job from a t-80 after all that, what makes it even better is you can just join a modded server and it installs everything for ya’!
Conquerors blade is a medieval and 3rd person spin on this type of game. A unit control game where you have your own weapon and fight in the battle alongside your unit. I like these games because it strikes a nice balance between tactics and action
Enlisted is what i can described as that definitive ww2 milsim simcade Its milsim because the only fov given is 1st person, its arcade because of many things
i like how his friend also made a video on this game and used footage from the same gaming session. but yeah, i like enlisted. kinda sad my friends dont like it :(.
Keep in mind that in WWII, pretty much everyone was using bolt-actions for nearly all their troops, bar the US. The MG was always the weapon to put bullets downrange, and at the time most nations didn't need the men who were supporting the MG and taking positions whilst being covered by the MG to have great levels of firepower.
The grind is much more tamed compared to 2 years ago. Where they had campaigns and each campaign you had to level up and get the same guns and tanks all over again. Those who actually played this game before the merge will truly appreciate the grind now. Those who didnt well what can we do.
I used to love Enlisted back when I really felt I was in WW2. Now I can fight a Japanesse soldier playing as a red army soldier in Normandy. I can just say that the custom server mode is now the best that this game has to offer: Zombie servers, modern war servers, realistic ww2 servers; it's just perfect
fun fact, this game is by the same studio as war thunder and reuses so so many assets, mechanics and details from an older game of the same studio. the studio is gaijin entertainment and the game is/was CRSED: cuisine royal a quite odd battle royal game from 2019 that mixes somewhat historical maps (using the same buildings and such as enlisted) with WWII guns, supernatual abilities/powers, kitchen tools as armor (including waffle iron buttocks protection) and just straight goofy equipables like a cigare that reduces damage and a bloodbag on a stick that slowly autoheals you. i played a bunch of it years ago, whacky times.

Thank you! Now others can torture themselves with this game. (Legit I do just like playing it with music in the background grinding away. It's significantly more difficult to do that in Warthunder) God Bless, you and many others are in my prayers with all these terrible hurricanes going on
I love the core concept of Enlisted, that is, controlling an entire squad. I would like to see it or something similar be put into a higher-budget game.
I played it when it released and it was so fun! Unfortunately, the progression was extremely slow - so you had to focus on only one faction in a single theatre - or you had to pay
I played at release to, and i gave up on the game. Also, I've had a break from gaming for over a year due to a family illness, but I'm getting back into it soon as I got a new Series X on the way. Anyway, I'll get to the point -- Apparently, and only recently (i think the guy said last month) a big change was implemented into the levelling/XP system and its now 70% less grinding compared to before the update. Another 2 guys also backed his comment up, and also said it's changed everything for the better. Just thought I'd let you know mate, as I know how you feel disliking the progression, and leaving the game.. But hey, maybe now give it another chance? I definitely will be. If you do, let us know mate 👍🏻 cheers.

The Previous way to progression is much more simpler and same time hard. If you play Enlisted before the techtree the game instead lock you into 5 types of campaign. Normandy, Moscow, Berlin, tunisia And that one Japanese map I forgot because I stop playing after they introduce japan. Instead of having a tech tree you instead unlock them by leveling up. The more you level the better the guns and squad you will get. And what's good that instead of right now Mix bag of unhistorical gameplay. (A Puma in Moscow, or Panther in Tunisia) Instead what was given to you in that campaign. (Like Berlin campaign) It will give you the appropriate squad, regiment, equipment, and name for that location.
I remember i started playing this game, then i figured out that to get "new" weapons for my squad members(worn down, shitty iron sight bolt action), i had to grind to get a weapon crate. For each soldier. With each squad. For every campaign(3 or 4 at the time). To get new weapons, i had to pay money. To get new perks for my soldiers, money. To reroll these perks, more money. To increase each soldiers perk capacity, more money. The amount of monetization in this game is absolutely insane. I despite gaijin with every fiber of my body
hey you can order your guys around and make them take positions and edit their behavior to make them shoot more or shoot less (you can order them to defend a safe area behind the objective and rush the objective alone and keep dying and hot swapping to a different squad member)
Man, your videos are the highlight of my week, much love to you Habie. I appreciate you, brother. See you next weekend for more nonsensical yabbering haha
As an Enlisted "Veteran", thanks for covering my favorite game :D also, just for reference, at 5:42 you are not paying 39.99$ for a single Tommy gun, you actually get a full squad of paratroopers, all of them equipped with that gun :P That being said, Enlisted Premium squad prices are RIDICULOUSLY overpriced, but they are okay when they are on Sale. Yes 15-20$ still "seems" like a lot for a single in game item, but if you think about it, the game is free, so you can buy like 3 premium squads and it will just as if you bought 1 normal game, so it is not that ridiculous (at least imo). But you don't really need Premium squads in this game though. I'm on the top of almost every single match I play, and I rarely use like 1 premium squad in the entire game xD (the only thing you kinda need, is "premium account" which you can usually buy around CHristmas for 20$/Year)
I started the game 2 weeks before the economy change, if it wasn’t for that change I would have quit. Thanks for making videos habie. Every saturday is habie day for me, and i love looking forward to seeing what you’ll put out this week. I’ve been watching since you made that pavlov vr video at 30k, and watching you grow has been amazing. Keep on doing what you love ❤️
enlisted is a fun and solid game and has a lot of potential it need a lot of polishing done
What I usually do is something like this:
If I have sniper squad
- I position them somewhere safe so that if the main sniper dies I can switch to another member that have sniper. Giving me more "lives" to play as a sniper. or sometimes I just switch if I don't have ammo anymore
If I have engineer
- I use the AI to help me build fortifications or cannons faster
If I have regular squad
- I position them to hold certain areas to def flags.
And then got re-released and even got shouted out in war thunder's community section
Habie in the middle of a life threatening disaster and still putting out quality weekly content! this is one of the reasons i love this guy!
Download this last night after seeing your video and this game is fun as hell, thanks habie for showing us this gem
glad you’re safe habie! hurricanes are scary
I love this game. All the different squads/weapons/vehicles you can unlock makes it very addictive
Enlisted is what i can described as that definitive ww2 milsim simcade
Its milsim because the only fov given is 1st person, its arcade because of many things
Hopefully your parents got flood insurance. Glad everything seems okay for you Habie and thanks for the content brother!
Wow, I stopped playing this game for like months, and now the maps have improved! Definitely worth trying it back.
i like how his friend also made a video on this game and used footage from the same gaming session. but yeah, i like enlisted. kinda sad my friends dont like it :(.
I sought out the twitch clip and was not dissapointed, thank you habie
Keep in mind that in WWII, pretty much everyone was using bolt-actions for nearly all their troops, bar the US. The MG was always the weapon to put bullets downrange, and at the time most nations didn't need the men who were supporting the MG and taking positions whilst being covered by the MG to have great levels of firepower.
I love the running bit of explaining Corey is legally blind
As a veteran Enlisted player, I really like this video, everything explained simply, enough to draw you in
The grind is much more tamed compared to 2 years ago.
Holy shit, I played this game years ago when it first came out. It’s cool to see that it’s still going strong, I might have to check it out again
fun fact, this game is by the same studio as war thunder and reuses so so many assets, mechanics and details from an older game of the same studio.
the studio is gaijin entertainment and the game is/was CRSED: cuisine royal a quite odd battle royal game from 2019 that mixes somewhat historical maps (using the same buildings and such as enlisted) with WWII guns, supernatual abilities/powers, kitchen tools as armor (including waffle iron buttocks protection) and just straight goofy equipables like a cigare that reduces damage and a bloodbag on a stick that slowly autoheals you.
i played a bunch of it years ago, whacky times.
Seeing this made me realize I don't have notifications on for your content.
54:08 My man goes to a different country and comes back with new payment solution lol. Glad you covered Enlisted, I've loved that game ever sense HnG Closed down, and now it's on steam I'm getting right back into the grind again. ✌
It's REALLY strange that I started playing this game over a week ago and now Habie is posting a video about it.
I would like to see it or something similar be put into a higher-budget game.
oh yes I remember this game. I spent all my time putting tank traps in places that should not have had tank traps
Anyway, I'll get to the point --
Apparently, and only recently (i think the guy said last month) a big change was implemented into the levelling/XP system and its now 70% less grinding compared to before the update.
@@Ozzies can confirm it's less grind for BR I to III, but honestly I can't take a game that started like that seriously, don't grind and don't buy overpriced cool weapons, it's not Squad
Well, the fact that it's not Squad its the biggest upside of Enlisted. If I wanted to play competitive "where's waldo" I'd just do that lol
Enlisted was hella fun back during covid
It is more fun now
Since covid they've added Stalingrad, Battle of the bulge, the Pacific, rzhev
Habie caught me washing dishes 💀💀💀
I wasn't even done washing by the time the video ended so I had to wash the big pot in silence 😭😭😭
Dude you called out my dishes and so I HAD to listen to the atomic mirror brain scolding session
Glad to hear you alive after the hurricane. Gl with the dog. The M1 in this game was/is full auto I think.
Check out Easy Red 2 basically enlisted without the grind but offers much more in the way of COMPETENT AI squads and vehicle variety and DESTRUCTION
As someone who has spent money on enlisted I can confirm I've never bought anything at full price I've always waited Unit they had a massive sale. The prices are crazy sometimes
Also, best of luck with hurricane Milton coming up, God be with you.
we have to go through another hurricane and we just got all the drywall taken out and we still don't have flood insurance
As an Enlisted "Veteran", thanks for covering my favorite game :D
also, just for reference, at 5:42 you are not paying 39.99$ for a single Tommy gun, you actually get a full squad of paratroopers, all of them equipped with that gun :P
That being said, Enlisted Premium squad prices are RIDICULOUSLY overpriced, but they are okay when they are on Sale. Yes 15-20$ still "seems" like a lot for a single in game item, but if you think about it, the game is free, so you can buy like 3 premium squads and it will just as if you bought 1 normal game, so it is not that ridiculous (at least imo). But you don't really need Premium squads in this game though. I'm on the top of almost every single match I play, and I rarely use like 1 premium squad in the entire game xD (the only thing you kinda need, is "premium account" which you can usually buy around CHristmas for 20$/Year)
2:58 as badger said, splitting off by mitosis
Everytime I go back to another game I see habie playing it.
exactly what just happend lol
I love it when you make Cory irrationally angry at whatever smoothbrained thing you just said :D
If you ever see some guy digging trenches in a zigzag that’s me.
I started the game 2 weeks before the economy change, if it wasn’t for that change I would have quit.
So the game is still getting updated and changing, I’m 340 hours in, I’ve had a lot of fun and I’ve only played Allied BR2 the whole time.
As for the research grind, it’s not that bad at all, especially if you’re not like me and try to unlock and max out everything like the pointless completionist I am.
9:25 I'm taking a guess it's the logo of the 8th Jägerdivision, but it looks different in the game because bad symbol: It haves like little hammers on the edges and a donut hole in the middle instead. Correct me if I'm wrong tho.
Glade to here your safe all the best with the recovery
I started playing when the campaigns were a thing and that really helped me when they changed to a techtree
thank you for the blessing Florida man
Enlisted is a pretty good game, ive played it since it first came, lately ive been grinding to unlock... everything,, i finnished germany 2-3 weeks ago,,, ive finnished japan,, im almaost done with Russia, and doing some USA whith a friend,,, i didnt really spend long unlocking... anything, it goes quick
Beside,, its a fun game, i enjoy it
No way, Habie gave us a side quest 9 minutes into a video about a (not) mobile game that does (not) scam you.
Enlisted is a very solid 7.5/10 game for me, it's free, easy to play/understand, and has lots of grinding features that keep you coming back to it. Additionally, I have to say that in my first 30 games I think I've played 26 different maps. It's insane.
One of the rare and few enlisted "reviews" that isn't impossibly biased simply because it's possible to spend money on the game
Habie. this comes to you from your stream today, don’t die!
In habies defense "et tu brute" is what Caesar was reported saying when he was, yknow, stabbed to death
