Hyperboloids can be made entirely with straight lines and every point on the surface of the hyperboloid intersects exactly two of those lines. So the easiest way to realize one accurately in minecraft would probably be to create a ring then trace out a few of the lines that fall on the hull of the hyperboloid until you have a scaffold of quads then fill in the remaining area. Making lines of known slope from a known starting point is generally pretty approachable even in 3 dimensions. A useful operation to be aware of for that might be affine rotation, to rotate around the center by arbitrary angles using scale, shear, and translate operations.
EDIT: Alternatively since you have the tools to make circles easily you could just construct it as rotations of a hyperbola. Find the intercept at various intervals sqrt((kn)^2 + 1), where n is an integer and k is some scaling factor to make it the size you want, then walk along the function making rings that are a multiple of that radius.

      Dear employee,
I originally thought of doing the rotation of a hyperbola method, but wasn't sure how to rotate by an arbitrary angle and then put that in minecraft. Building rings is indeed a smart way to do it.
It would be even better if we could somehow account for the slope A, slope B and roof tile block variants to get it to look even more smooth. HamCorp architects will consider such a building method for a future construction project.
      Best,
      HamCorp

@@Ham-Corp I can think of some ways to do that but none which are particularly elegant, it's essentially a marching cubes problem. Also is your reactor chunk aligned or are you just using chunk loading to keep your base from exploding?

@@esven9263 chunk loading but I might consider moving these just to completely avoid any risk since they can be so destructive

    Hello dear Hamcorp CEO,
We want to welcome you to the wonderful cult of Fluid Nukes. Your nuclear powerplant looks really awesome. And again with the cursed multiblocks :). You might want to try a cursed reactor wall sharing in the future (Fluid nukes can share walls),
But also constantly running Uranium nukes might not be the best idea. When you going to need plutonium, there will be a bunch of different methods to get it. For thorium, breeder reactors would be better cost-to-byproduct ratio. And if you decided to toggle the reactor on and off, having a bigger buffer will be better, since there is a heat-up time.
    Best Regards

You need lutetium to make americium in a fusion reactor, which is the material needed for UV components. Not something to worry about for a while.

Man fluid nukes are crazily complicated. A simple Uranium Vac Nuke makes 27,000 eu/t completely safely with almost zero hassle.

    Dear Hamcorp CEO,
After looking at video recording investigating team find out unacceptable to waste both distilled water and energy to produce it.
Investigating team decide to help you improve efficiency with some directives: routing back water from turbines into buffer tank and then voiding any overflow in that buffer tank.
This small change will make Hamcorp company more efficient in terms of power production to consumption ratio.
    Totally not sus investigating team

Putting architectural blocks on the cooling tower was definitely worth it. Thank goodness you only built one, and there won't be a second one. There won't, will there?

The build looks amazing but because the slopes are all different it also is kind of unnatural

Why don't you use a camera mod for recording building timelapses or use another account to record. I think it really adds to the videos, and it shouldn't be that hard.

      Dear employee,
I used to use another account but the other computer I use has been having issues with games crashing (not just minecraft) and I suspect it's a RAM hardware issue.
If you have a camera mod that works with GTNH please let me know!
      Best,
