An update that brings something new is always a good thing. Not so good when something breaks because of it. Engineers I know say, "If it works, don't touch it."
@@tbone5336 god its insane yeah, i started a new game on 2.7 and first priority is rushing to hammer and slapping fortune 3/haste on that, I did it in my 2.6 game i updated to 2.7 and you get SO MUCH ORE its insane
AverageGregtechPlayer has a great video on his early VacNukes. Episodes 5 of his most recent season show Thorium vac nuke setups (which can be easily changed to Uranium rods, 27,000 eu/t).
I don't like the raw ores but they're pretty much necessary because of all the different planet variants. Older versions of gregtech actually had single ore blocks that changed texture based on surrounding blocks.

Dear engineering department,
True! Luckily, this time, the breaking change was simple and quick to fix.
Best,
HamCorp
The new multiblocks look pretty darn cool. A simple HamCorp engineer likes them.
The raw ore is actually huge QoL :O
early game with fortune 3 hammer goes so fast now. 20h to MV

Ok the loading screen is so sick, congrats man!
With shaders looks great
I would recommend vacuum nukes. I got a uranium one setup with staballoy eec for passive uranium, and it’s 43600 eu/t. Not bad for basically free.

I guess you can leave the shaders on, as long as the Fps is above 60 and the game doesn't freeze.

One thing that is pretty helpful with them, at least early game, is that they are now affected by fortune, so you can get more ore per block.
@@omega4679 Yeah it makes sense but I still don't like it. It's not minecrafty.
Why do you place multiblocks manually
fun
Go nuclear until you can afford fusion or do Nitrobenzene
Yey nukes. Boo Botania. Garbage flower mod.
