Chris Berry you are the man I really look up to you I'm a painter myself and I enjoy it soo much i can say Paint is Life. Thank you for all your teaching which I put into practice at every job.
That’s what he was getting to before he started painting 🤦♂️ 🤣 he was saying it’s not necessary to back roll, and yes it’s not necessary unless it was a new building but for repaints it’s perfect to just spray and I also perfer to just only spray exterior stucco structures, also if you back roll you will most likely leave the roller marks, with the spray just spray at different angles I’ve done it many times!
You are the best man. Your videos are very informative. I have 3 degrees after high school and I say you are one of the best instructors In have ever had. Keep up the good work man👍🏽👍🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Nice job. I'm going to start spraying tomorrow on a -1 and -2 parking levels of a 10 story building all alone. Lots of pipes, switches, light fixtures, wall signs and garage doors. But should go ok.
At 4:20 it goes me chills, I fell from one of those telescopic ladders. Ladder pulled out and dr[pped me from the highest to my knees hard as shit, gravity is not your friend lol. Be safe guys
On very light paint what can I use to prevent staining on the bottom of an exterior house? This will be a good video to make because alot of people have this problem some notice it and others like myself see it on every white or light painted houses I drive by.
Myself I RARELY use lifts. I find in most of the residential homes that I paint, they would not fit. Also it seems to me, it takes more time to bring and set it up then to just do the painting from a ladder. I use ladder leveling feet on all my ladders and very rarely do I need to get a lift to do the job.
Most residential jobs do not require a lift. They would slow the job down and create a situation where people that don’t know how to use it will smash a house, tip, or hurt someone in general. Commercial jobs like this go much much faster with a lift. Hope this helps!
How would you go about spraying a line like the red one on top of the building? Do you have any videos on how you would tape that off or what you would do to spray a different color stripe around the building?
Okay painters & Chris. You address overspray, thank you. If I’m spraying like you, in the Texas summer heat/sun; I spray the building and the paint is drying in the air and then landing on the cars, then it’s so hot the paint heats back up and sort of sticks to the car. Has anyone experienced this? I’ve had jobs where the dry paint does land on cars and it’s like dust but then when it’s getting very hot someone told me it can actually adhere to the car because of the heat. Any comments or stories? Thank you!
We always back roll, we cut in with gun then spray roller it's still fast , just sprayed like that will it have the same adhesion??? Anyway good effort on your own, looks good
My Florida home is 9 years old and need to repaint...should i remove all the window caulk and recaulk? Bty, great videos just found this channel, learning alot...thank you!!
They are good , but they do have their places. Are they everyday ladders NO. But if your in a truck (without a ladders rack) or in a suv etc... then it's perfect because you can store it in a minimal space then break it out when you need it.
I have to agree with the others. These ladders scare the bejesus out of me. I had one that was convenient to put in the back of my work car and worked well, but there were several dangerous instances I found myself facing with the ladder, mostly regarding the numerous individual leg-locks these have and the Velcro or other form of keeping the ladder collapsed. I love my Little Giant ladders, which I can even fit in a family car, if I'm (again) in a tight space and can't throw it in my truck or SUV.
Get the good one, I use the “extend” ladder all the time, they work great for stairwells or odd sized walls. If you get overspray on the poles that collapse on each other then they won’t slide as smoothly. Good luck
watched up to 7 minutes could of been condenses to 1 minute tops. people's time is valuable. try to think about shortest way to explain it.. looks the same as it did at the start???. no one is going to climb up a ladder and see if the sheen is different. Not sure if all this work is needed?

Looks great man! Just a suggestion, jet roller with a 1 inch colossus cover. spray and back roll at same time

It's that attention to detail that keeps you an asset in your market👍

Why not 2 coats one the way we paint siding and the 2nd up and down

Who needs the gym after a workout like that. I will say that's one massive job for one man. Great job
Great job! Ladder day = Leg day 😂
That’s a lot of touch up! Should of back rolled it

can we just do a good job the first time or do we have to go around the whole buoilding again
How many gallons that building take?

Paint adhesion issues are overblown
Thank you

only if the caulk looks dired up and loose, other wise just recaulk the bad spots
Good video
Great video wat type of ladder 🪜 is ?
Did you spray elastomeric
Great video. What’s your thoughts on Spray Guide painting tool. Like to hear your professional opinion.
What paint do you use for the stucco?
Aura Flat
Where's Journeyman John???
Lay a long run tarp down… no overspray on the sidewalk. Otherwise…decent job.
Do you still make cycling videos?
Nice 💙🧡💚🧡😍💛 great video
Stocco is degraded when sealed with paint. If it was designed to be painted it would be painted when it is applied, it's designed to be porous.
Ive used concrete stain
What tip is that ?
If you get up at 4 am and squat, all that ladder work is just extra brother lol.
Are you using one of those collapsible ladders? -IF so, you like? I've been considering a purchase.
Don't do it!!!!!

That's a negative on the ladders...Call me old skool but I don't trust them, I want to know I'm squared away up that high.
And it’s a Solo video cause you’re a bad azz.
Bug juice kills
