People rag on iRacing graphics...but...they nail the color' and that alone makes it look more true to life than some much more technically detailed sims.
Awesome content as always. I jumped to PC from PS5 at the beginning of the year. Having a drive in the iRacing 24hr at Nurburgring, can't wait looking forward to it 😊

I must admit to being a little confused, Will. Not by your video - but by the fact that I always keep hearing that iRacing's graphics are a bit outdated these days. But this looks truly spectacular to me personally??? [;]-)

This is a love or hate sort of track. I never understood why people love it, but each to their own
I tend to prefer tracks with a bit of flowing undulation.
Some tracks are better with slow cars, some are better with fast cars, some are just bad for racing, some are great for driving.
Road Atlanta, to me, is more of a slow cars racing track. Whenever IMSA is on it, it isn't as fun to me. But put Skippy, a Radical, a Formula Vee or F4 and I'm ALL in. 🎉
I used to think like you, until I decided to learn the circuit seriously. Now, it seems to me one of the best tracks in the world, the races there are impressive.

Are you going to make a video about the newer moza crp pedals. You made a video when they realised it, but Moza got some feedback from people and redesigned it, and now they are different from the old ones.
I remember watching Valentino Rossi maybe 10 years ago where he and a few other riders had their heart rate monitors on. Everyone had theirs in the 130s, give or take. Rossi was in the 90s iirc.

Yeah Verstappen's would be super interesting to see. Given that he can sim-race till 3am the night before an F1 race then wake up a few hours later and smoke the entire F1 field, I'd say he's probably pretty calm. Riding mountain bikes with Bayliss was the same. He's 15 years older than me, and his AVG heart rate on a ride is like 50bpm lower than mine when we're riding at the same (fast) pace. They built different.

Any chance of a 2024 "Recommended hardware setup for X/Y/Z Budget" video? Where you go through what you'd recommend as a complete hardware setup (base, wheel, pedals, shifter, maybe rig in higher tiers) for budgets of under $500, under $1k, under $2k, over $2k etc? Like, a best in budget components which will all work well together etc.
After 10 years away from Sim Racing, im looking at options to get back into it with a decent setup and dont really know what sort of gear each budget range gets me, or what are the best options within each budget range, and whether stepping up to a higher level setup is worth the extra investment in terms of value for money and enhancement of driving experience etc. Thanks! 🙏
