Circuit of the Americas has a little bit of everything. Long straights leading in to hairpins provide great overtaking opportunities, while blind crests and rhythm sections provide lots of opportunities to mess up! Combine that with an unforgiving car like the F3 and you've got a recipe for an exciting race!

I love this car to death. Cota has been hard this week though. I think my fastest around Cota this week has been 1:57.1 or something in the open setup at 28c tracktemp.
I had a go at the next week's track, Magny, for about 30-35 laps in practice and its way easier, but you need to be very precise to get down to 1:31.x on it. Its also much kinder regarding off-tracks :D

Usually love watching these videos but something seems off. It’s like really fisheye maybe. Cant put my finger on it but its giving me a headache. Keep up the great work though!!
Strange. Haven’t changed anything for this one. This track does have a lot of sweeping corners though which might contribute.

Definitely haven’t changed the seating position but I didn’t crop this video in as much as previous open wheeler videos so the GoPro FOV is a bit wider. Will revise for the next one. :)

@@boostedmedia But cardio will have it lower overall, so the anxiety bpm boost wont be as significant. Like a kilometer round bike trip every now and then will help
Yeah some cycling will help with anxiety and lower your heart rate, plus it's fun and helps clear the head.
HR went from 121 to 146 when you were talking about Moza. Must be love...

Uuhh... This track is hell. So many difficult corners. The fixed setup doesn't help either. If you are not one of the top guys, you also need a bit of luck to not end up in a crash.
Great race Will. Always good to get a top-ten position after starting so far back.

They aren’t TVs. It’s 3 x Omen X Emperium Big Format Gaming Displays.

@@LuckyMojoTTV tv's are quite bad for gaming. most have low refresh rates (144hz is ideal) and they often have heaps of delay. make sure ur using a "gaming" monitor because they are optimized for low input lag and high refresh rates

what is the point of spending $500+ for the wheels covered in RGB buttons when no one ever uses them.

The COTA Ice-Rink! Tough track, especially the esses! You never mentioned track temps, msut have been pretty hot going by your race pace. It's a great track but it hates me man! haha!
Just took delivery of my R5 and a CS V2 wheel after watching your numerous reviews Wil. Totally over the moon with the upgrade from an old Fanatec Porsche GT3 belt driven setup.
COTA looks fun.wish I could of drove it. unfortunately couldn't get the track as running low on money.

F3 races at COTA have been wild, SR killers for sure, but man, it's some of the best fun I've had since I got back to iRacing.
Hey Will, just wanted to see if you're still using the Phillips Hue ambient lighting setup? Not sure if after your move to the bigger space if it was still a viable option? I'm looking at doing a Hue setup for my own rig (inspired by your Hue video!) and just wondering if you still liked it.
Yep still love it and still using it. Some tracks it just doesn’t show up much as there’s not many shadows or changes in light. Have a look at our recent man cave tour. ;)

to have the best start in any series, you need to keep the engine rev in the green (full green leds limit to red) and smash the throttle when releasing at green light.

Using Crew Chief. Have done a few videos like that a while back. Always very low view counts and I haven’t really changed anything since the last time I did one.

My resting rate is around 85 but I have a severe anxiety disorder so it gets really high when I’m recording races. 😂
I think you should make another channel with your races and leave this one reviews because honestly I could careless about you driving in races, maybe I'm in the minority but when was the last time you've done a review 2 months?
We haven’t done a review in a while because I was very sick and we moved studios. Should be back to one a week or so as of this week or next.
