achieve a long race with proper clean racing on this track is probably the most satisfying thing ever. there's something about it that always makes me come back to it for more. good job man!

I stumbled upon your channel a little while back and, at the time, knew literally nothing about sim racing. You convinced me to head over to Microcenter, try out their demo setup, and ever since I’ve been absolutely hooked. Your detailed reviews have helped me figure out which products to go with, and so far I’m thrilled with all of them. It’s videos like these that will get people to go out, buy a starter bundle, and give sim racing a shot. Keep up the great work!!

I've been farming the bells out of this combo, so much fun. Btw, try 3rd at hell, 4th at griffins, there is a line to stay flat all the way from the cutting to the esses and 3rd at the chase will get you down to 2:01/2:00 easily. How the 1:57s are done though, I've got no idea.
Yeah nice. Very smooth. All your time loss (IMO) is on your upshifts. Dwelling way too long in 2nd particularly and not taking advantage of the torque from the turbo in 3rd. Keep practicing 👍🏼👍🏼
Was me in the benneton (rubix cube car) laughing all the way through the race and the video! Definitely hope we can race again! You should try the SF23 mate you'll love it, it's like a faster f3.
Will it looks to me like your missing pace is from always relying entirely on the steering to turn the car. Don’t be afraid of rotating the car with the pedals as well.
Thats cause in forest elbow the road falls away and the left wheel is in the air. Freaked me out at first too but as i did more laps you realise thats a good thing. If the wheel doesnt pick up then your're not going fast enough :D
@@wadecoppage5583 I have moza myself so i know that the paddle shifters are loud and thats not the game. And thats why there are some damping thing thing in the box with the steering wheel 😉 And if it comes to the base that are loud you are right! But you just need to take the road friction down and then its not load anymore 😁
instead of struggling like crazy to keep one guy behind you and watching the people in front slowly drift into the distance maybe next time consider letting the faster car by and trying to work with him to catch up to the other cars
The point is that you're battling the mountain as much as the drivers. Not crashing is an achievement on this track in any car. When you're in the zone on this track its extremely rewarding...and frustrating when your not.
@@Lunatic_Snowy Genuine question...doesnt ACC use programmed tracks thus programmed bumps while iRacing is laser scanned tracks and more accurate to the real bumps on track? Just curious...not trying insult ACC.

27:00 They seem to be staying more to the middle and straightening those curves vs nailing the apex’s.

Is it normal for the mirrors to be offset like that or just how the monitors are mounted?
It's how the mirrors are, air intake on 1 side I believe is the reason

There are some damping thing thing with the wheel you buy so it's more quieter 😉
That's not the wheel making that noise it's the sim. Listen right at the start there's no shift noise coming from the paddles.

So how does it not making noise at the beginning make it the sim? The sim would make the noise at all times. But it’s the wheel rim.

I often do this but I this case I knew I didn’t have the pace to stay with him, as was evident when he did eventually get past me.
Why do so many sim racers play this course? One of the worst and most boring if you ask me.
Because its a really intense track, with good overtaking opportunities and if everyone is really good at driving you can even fight on the mountain
