- Sorry for the delay on this video. I finally found a nice editor to use to combine clips. When we arrived at Children’s (because I had to take allergy shots), I saw the strobes flashing through the cafeteria window, so that’s when I started recording. Obviously, I look like a weirdo recording these alarms, but it’s hobby I enjoy. Hope y’all enjoy this video!

This is private mode signaling meant to tell staff what zone or area to go to in order to help the patients. A defend in place occupancy such as this has plans to drag all the patients out of the fire area to the other side of fire/ smoke barrier doors. The chime has different requirements for that reason, it’s low key just for personnel.
No actually only this hospital does this or have this feature because when I was staying at another building they would use the fire alarm because they don’t have regular speakers so they say all of the codes through the fire alarm. In example the children’s hospital it the heart of Ohio (nationwide children’s) they only have a chime. And they would say code red over the intercom
@@JayForeman-iw1zy Dublin Methodist (OH) has full on horn strobes. It sounded twice (once at 2am) when we delivered my son there.
2:17 beautiful colorful lights 😸
So many memories of Cincinnati children’s
Watching Bluey during the Fire Drill in the Hospital😂😂😂😂😂
Those alarms are gentex sspk24wlpr speaker strobes but in chime
Funny after the alarm is off they evacuate. Would've been a real icing on the cake if the fire department showed up as you were exciting.
6:25 Bluey’s on TV! 😂
I like that bell.
Nice vid
This is the Cincinnati Children's hospital in Liberty Ohio!!!
Gentex speaker strobes
Code red, Level 2
OMG!!!! 🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀
Do you know what kind of system is in that hospital? The speaker strobes are Gentex but those can be used on just about anything.
Some sort of notifier panel
Fire Lite
We use those on a Potter panel
Large notifier system. The audio package is probably an AMG if I had to guess
I been there!!!
I’ve been to the college hill location 😂 it said code red building b level 3
Does everyone have to stop what there doing during the test

Where is that place at?
Why does hospital fire alarms always have a chime?
They have these instead of horn strobes so that it doesn’t cause panic, such as giving a patient a heart attack, or so that a surgeon doing surgery doesn’t get startled, and because it’s a high rise building.
@@idkanymore9590 makes since
@@idkanymore9590 chime strobes should be used in other special needs buildings instead of just hospitals It’ll make fire drills more pleasant
@@Jimmy06blue true that. However, that’s not always avoidable, especially in schools. I go to a special education school because I am on the autism spectrum. But any school in general can be loud with everyone talking at once. Fire alarms also need to be at least 15 decibels above the standard volume level of a building. However, I do agree that they should get rid of horn strobes in schools. Maybe they can consider speaker strobes to where it’s not too loud, but loud enough to get everyone’s attention.
IDK 🤷♂️
was there a fire?
I have a recording from the burnet campus
Was it an false evacuation or a code red?🔥
Code red means fire
Was this a fire drill?
Where is this
They're saying code red level two which means it's on floor 2
Thanks Captain Obvious
nah really? I thought it meant they were all gonna die.
@@LethaWolfStudios you're welcome Captain rude
How did the alarm went off
Either a false alarm, malfunction, or it was real. At least it says where the activation occurred. Makes it easier for nurses or doctors to track down whether it's real or not.
Got use to code reds when I did clinicals. The key thing is patient safety, and we learn pretty quick if it's real because some patients can't move and need to be wheeled out.

That's another example of code red.
@@trevormacewan4:41it’s a drill. i’m assuming u didn’t watch the entire thing.
@TrueEHEL No, I watched it. He asked if it was a fire drill. Kinda hard to hear the rest of what she said but it was "Yeah I guess ..." couldn't tell the rest of what she said.
It was a drill?
No, but luckily no fire
Looks like they silenced tne alarms
