It technically is. All that’s different is it’s got “ALERT” on it rather than “FIRE” and there’s a blue cover over the strobe. If they were to hook that up to the fire system, it’d work as one.

This is a great idea and can be easily integrated into a fire alarm system. You can have other alarms go off for different reasons other than a fire.
