@@akaiyui9300 And Virtua Fighter. Tekken 4 took some inspiration from VF, including positional grabs (Steve Fox is the only character to have kept those grabs in future Tekkens). Aside from that, Marduk made his debut in T4, and he looks and fights a lot like Jeffry McWild from VF.
@@The_Isaiahnator I get what you're saying but I REALLY disagree with the part comparing Jeffery and Craig. I just don't agree with you there. Craig's grapples were actually really uniquely animated compared to Jeffery's.
If those had been updated (with more cast), and balancing of broken Steve, and low tier Heihachi, this game would have been great. Maybe a bit better graphics in an update.
The 2nd Arcadia cup was awesome to watch especially the Jin player who won the tournament. He didnt spam his jf laser scraper instead used precision and poking to counter his opponents.
@@dxmakina if u hold down 2 for the last hit of laser scraper it turns unlockable but takes longer to come out and can be interrupted or sidestepped, if hold the button just long enough for the blue spark to just appear, it becomes unblockable and uninterruptible, so it's essentially just a free launcher
Also his 10 frame punish was greate, only -11 hellsweep, 2,1 is +1 on block and +12 on hit, his parry is goated, but yeah just frame laser scraper was godlike lmao.
I am surprised they allowed every stage. Saying this game is unbalanced/broken for stages is like saying Melee is uncompetitive because there are a bunch of intrusive and unviable stages for competition. I think the Airport stage looks balanced enough and obviously you could play on the beach stage. As long as they are fighting competently enough, a wall combo can be too hard to setup intentionally. People just never gave it enough time to develop properly and come up with a proper ruleset. At the same time, Tekken 5 just feels better to play and has a bigger cast of characters, so it is understandable that people simply moved on.

Best levels out of any Tekken, and was the natural progression of what tekken was suppose to be
I miss Tare. Best Japanese Ling of all time. Not to mention his Lei and King team in TT1... he was ahead of his time.

You can unlock it by beating the Story mode with Nina or Steve
