In 1962, we were nourishing the Chinese forces through supplies through Kolkata port, there being no supply routes capable of handling large loads from China into Tibet. They withdrew after winning for quite some time at the point their supply lines dried up and they were enroute to becoming sitting ducks. This aspect has never been highlighted by our commentators educating Indians about the duplicity of the Chinese. How they had cleverly extended the old British time treaty only for Five years instead of the Ten India wanted, to leave them free to create 1962. But did our Nehru and Krishna Menon have any strategic sense? They had egos, and had placed servant type generals.
China shouldn't forget 1967 either. Gen Sagat Singhs initiative at RezangbLa and Sumdurong Chu showed who the baap is and they fled leaving 600+ dead which they won't own. At galwan they suffered 40+ dead but will own only 4!
