Lol. My 3 year old is a spooky girl at heart. I let her watch TNBC for the first time last month. Her description of Ogie was "he's a beanbag full of bugs". 😂 Not wrong.

Oogie Boogie and Not So Scary seem to be two totally different offerings. Not so scary is geared towards families with children and those of us who are still children at heart. Oogie Boogie is. geared towards Disney Adults.
I love the callback to hugging bears 🐻 and further solidifying the Chaos Twins as Pain and Panic and the voice of reason (Alan) as Hades as the perfect group costume! 😂
The characters at Oogie Boogie Bash are set up so much better. You don’t spend half your night in line to meet 2 characters. Love it!
Villains Grove is worth the price of admission alone. That space is just so absolutely gorgeous. Love the lights, the music, the fog, and especially the exit. I did both Halloween events last year, and the most striking thing for me was that the treat trails at WDW are just that: treats. I love how OBB has treats AND rare characters.

Love the villain’s trail. The character interactions based on guest costumes is fantastic. Definitely would want to put some thought into what I should wear to the event

I love that Max always does the "Sober Cheers" where his cup is always the highest one, to avoid spillage into his cup! Think that's the first time I've seen anyone other than me, do that!😊
MNSS feels like a classic after hours event. OBB feels like a Halloween neighborhood block party. So yeah, “intimate” feels like the right word. I love OBB!
You should all go together to Marceline, Missouri, and visit the original main street. I'd love to see a tour of the Walt Disney Hometown Museum.
We saw a sign for this museum on the way from Kansas City to Hannibal, MO. We made a little detour to check it out. What a gem and tribute to Walt! The whole family enjoyed it.

Ok, Sid was amazing lol. Before he even spoke, the first time he was shown he was instantly recognizable, and he nailed the character.

I just love the humor of this group. There are many Disney channels out there but none so unique!
The plan of action of hitting the treat trails and avoiding the hours long wait for the meet and greets was perfect. Villain’s Grove is definitely a must. They still saw the parade, and even went on rides. The options of drawing and the kids’ dance party were also offered, as well as snacks, so this was truly a win win win. If your goal is to get a pic with the meet and greet characters, be prepared to see only 1 or 2 due to the limited time of the event. Awesome post!
Watching the video on my flight back from Disneyland as we speak and I’m already feeling the feels reliving my own Oogie Boogie Bash adventure. The characters, treats, fun, and vibes make this event a must do and I’m so happy MAM got to do it together

THAT was fun, I have never been to the Oogie Boogie Bash!!! Loved the Radiator Springs displays. Lightening McQueen as a pirate was too cute!! The parade is amazing. You all dressed up was cool, Alan's sandals are priceless! Thank you for the fun and I love the MAMFAM 🎉 👻🎃💜
That was Cruz Ramirez dressed as a pirate. Lightning and Mater are parked at the Cozy Cone dressed as a superhero (I think?) and a vampire (respectively).
love your costumes - as someone who has been to both parties, it is hard to say one is better that the other. I love both parties for different reasons. MNSSHP has included snacks (not just candy) legit ice cream, popcorn and soda ... and the castle! OBB has so many characters you rarely (never) see except at this party, and Monsters After Dark (love, love love) and of course, Villans Grove. We didn't do either party this year, because we went to Europe including Disneyland Paris ... so there's that! Thanks for all your content but helping us celebrate our fav Halloween parties by proxy this year

While I've only been to 3 Oogie Boogie bashes, I love it SO much more than Mickeys Not So Scary for all the amazing character experiences. Honestly MNSSH only wins with the parade and the free snacks. I couldn't get tickets this year so it's nice living it vicariously with you guys 😂

Oogie Boogie is the clear winner. We've done both events, twice each and we just have a better time over at Oogie Boogie. Candy is so much fun when a character is mixed and there are even more trails without characters if you want. I won't wait in a long line to meet them so this is a perfect way to do it.

Watching your posts on instagram inspired me to watch Hercules as I had never seen it! I love the movie and upped my appreciation your costume choices! You all rocked!!!! I also appreciate your video because we had tickets for "Oogie Boogie" but we weren't able to attend so I got to enjoy it thru your eyes with the addition of your humor! I wonder why Agatha didn't say anything about Molly's sandals?

I have never been to Disneyland, but would love to go. We did MNSSHP at magic kingdom the other week and had an amazing time, but I would love to explore the Disneyland parks. I love how the treat trails have characters, so you hit two things at once, both treats and greets!

I LOVE this video! I love the costumes, I love Molly’s Pain voice, Hercules doesn’t get a whole lot of recognition anymore. Not like it used to! I remember the glasses, the plates, the action figures, all that McDonalds! And we would go there on the regular in the 90s and get all the things! The 90s were the best Disney decade, the best time to be a kid, the best everything! I miss that time and would go back in a heartbeat!
I have never been to either East Coast or West Coast Disney Halloween parties so I am not the person to ask. You’re REALLY making me want to go with this video MC!
Alan is correct though about all the Greek Gods and Goddesses wearing sandles all the time. If I know my mythology right, and I love mythology of all kinds! And Hades needs sandles because it’s so hot down there! Why would he wear actual shoes!
I can’t believe Madam Mim was there! She’s one of my favorite old school villains and Sword in the Stone is one of my favorite movies! I wonder what she would think if someone dressed up as Merlin or Wart (Arthur) and surprised her? That would be hilarious to see her reaction!
The Villains Grove is pretty darn cool and I LOVE that they included the Wisps from Brave! Another great movie with the woodcarver (witch) Boo! THAT would SO EPIC to have her there too! I wonder what she would do? I’d love to go and see her and ask her a few things!
The scariest part for me was Judge Doom. I really like how they did the actors makeup to more resemble Christopher Lloyds portrayal, the murder of that cute little shoe was VERY dark when you think about Mickey’s NSSHP in Orlando. Certainly something I’ve never seen before in all the years I’ve watched these videos from different people!
My least favorite was Ernesto de la Cruz. Because he’s a jerk and did the awful things that people would do in real life. IFYKYK the movie and it just makes me very mad. Coco hits a lot harder than I was expecting it to, akin to the Book of Life but more punches in the feels.
I’m not sure which parade I like more, the Mickey NSSHP or OBB. I like them both for being different but also kind of the same. I might say Mickeys because that’s the one I’ve seen so many times in videos, haven’t seen that much of this one. I do like that they both have the Sanderson Sisters in some form with Minnie, Daisy and Clarabelle. Another one of my favorite movies and it’s right up there with NBC as the best Halloween movie ever.

Oogie Boogie seems totally more my vibe, we are going on Thursday for a few days but I couldn’t get tickets to save my life. Maybe next time!
